Jiang Cheng is the most misunderstood character in the entire story...He had to grow up with so much criticisms yet he did love his brother and did try his utmost to protect him in his own way..he had lost everyone he held dear, making anger and wrath his friend which I think is natural for anyone who loses his everything overnight at that tender age..This video portrays his pain,love and sorrow beautifully!!..Thanks for making it!!

You know what breaks me every single time? The fact that Jiang Cheng sacrificed for his brother and really cares for him, but they still live in such misunderstanding. And, knowing their characters, they rather die then tell "i sacrificed everything 'cus you're my brother and I care for you". So even after ending they most likely won't speak about this ;(

Well, the fact that in the cql Wei Wuxian 's last word before dieing was "Jiang Cheng". I am dead-

I sort of rooted for thier reconciliation till the very last sentence of the book..but 😭...but understandable..considering they did so much for each other but still could not forgive or forget

The Jiang Clan of Yunmeng really deserved better. They could've all had a happy ending.

It's sad the way their relationship was always sabotaged by others. First the mom then basically everyone in the cultivation world that felt threaten by WWX being a badass. Still mad at Jiang Cheng for a lot of his crappy decisions based on his own insecurities and jealousy. If Yanli was still around she would have whipped them into shape.

I think that Jiang Cheng never hate Wei Wuxian. Even if he feel disappointed in many times but Wuxian will always be his best older brother ever

The fact that Jiang Cheng's hate comes from the very fact that he loved his brother so much and no one understood that. The last 'I am sorry' said it all!!

I'm sure at some we all are Jiang Cheng inside, having hate and confusion in our hearts. Sometimes no one else can understand but ourselves!

The utter ANGUISH in JC's eyes as he loomed over Wei, holding his sword, will ALWAYS shatter my heart into PIECES! He didn't want to kill his brother, but there was just...SO much pain and heartbreak, the conflict of "should I kill him" or "should I leave him", the trauma of witnessing their sister die right in front of them...and it was ALL going through JC's head at the SAME time! But I saw that regret in his eyes...every single time JC and Wei were together(once Wei was back and everyone knew who he was), the way JC would look at Wei just tore my heart into shreds! There was nothing but pain and regret in those eyes! I know he regretted killing Wei that day...but, at the same time, he didn't. So many feelings, so many things to say! There were SO many words the two needed to share, but there just...wasn't enough TIME! UGH!😭🥺 When Wei SMILED at him, a look that basically said "it's okay...it's alright. You can do it...it'll be okay", I had to stop the EP because I was crying so much! He looked almost...HAPPY that his life was taken by JC...whether it was indirectly taken or not. I believe that Wei wouldn't have accepted anyone else doing it...he wanted to take his OWN life, but I think he was, in some ways, happy that it was JC who ultimately led to his death.🥺🥺 I am SO, SO, SO glad they both reconciled(kind of...there was still a LOT that was left unsaid and in the dark, but we got a SORT of reconciliation, so...we can be happy about that at least!🥺🥰) in the end...they FINALLY had a good talk, apologised, cried, AND started the long road of mending their shattered bond! JC's final words to Wei(though not directly) really did me in! OUR BOYS!😭😭 They deserved so much better! If they had just TALKED more! UGH!😭😭

Love this video, I have already watched it quite a few times. Very well made. ❤️ These two, it hurts soo much thinking how strong their bond was (from both sides) and how it didn't get a second chance just because of all they went through. I believe Shiji played a big role in their lives and as she wasn't here anymore they just couldn't go back to what they were even after clearing all the misunderstandings. It's like in a way it was never two of them, it was three of them always, and now because of that they can't even try to mend their bond because the third person (Yanli) will never be here. Thankyou for making this video. You're very talented. 👏💕

I think we always forget that wei ying was as much in fault as Jiang Cheng for their ruined relationship...yes he gave up his future,core,reputation for Jiang Cheng but he didn't know that...I hate it when everyone blame him...Jiang Cheng could have very much hated wei ying like his mother did bcs of his father's neglect but he truly loved wei ying like a brother They faced war and tragedies and it changed them all...wei wuxian's neglect of his duties and responsibilities after the war...and then him going after the wen remnants and not giving Jiang Cheng any options to protect him and support him just added oil to the fire

This describes Jiang Cheng so well. Because if Wei Ying told Jiang Cheng about his golden core, and if Jiang Cheng told Wei Ying about his backstory of trying protect Wei Ying by exposing himself, perhaps there would not have been so much misunderstandings.

It pisses me off that Wei Wuxian was always the scapegoat that people took out their frustration, anger, and jealousy on. Like even before shit really went down people blamed him when something bad happened because he was an easy target. It also sucks that instead of making his own decisions based on what he himself knew/thought/felt Jiang Cheng let his decision making be influenced by grown men who we’re jealous, stubborn, and ALWAYS had a hidden agenda. I get Jiang Cheng is only human but that doesn’t make a lot of his decisions (at least in regards to his decisions Wei Wuxian) any less shitty🤷‍♀️ Also the whole scene where Wen Ning tells Jiang Cheng about what Wei Wuxian did/gave up for him never fails to make me cry like not tear up but legit cry. You just KNOW when Jiang Cheng realized what Wen Ning said was true he had one those mental montage flashbacks where he remembers every horrible thing he’s said/done to Wuxian and every time he either assumed he worst about him or didn’t give him the benefit of the doubt when he obviously should have. Like the emotional execution and acting through the whole series is A1 but something about the emotional execution in THAT particular scene always hits different for me and shoots right to my heart no matter how many times I’ve watched it😭😭
