I love his music but am sceptical of his philosophy, as i am with all religious mindsets and world views. I love the album Echomania. “I’m going to de-program you and your computer” is such a brilliant and funny line. Such an artist is Lee Scratch Perry; godfather of dub, or one of them… i’ll add LKJ in that equation also. LIsten to the song “What About the Working Class” by Lynton Quesi Johnson great lyrics also and one of the most perfect guitar solos of all time. Since this video segment is coming from Ableton i have to take the opportunity to thank Ableton for Live, a truly brilliant software and one of the greatest creative tools of all time for musicians and/or producers. Also, Walking in Jerusalem, amazing performance and vibe. Although i’m sceptical of all pre-set systems of belief, religions, i do like a lot of religiously inspired music. These many and various mythologies are part of what makes the human race a colourful and inventive species.

What a wonderful artist he is, and so deep. Lee Perry get his wisdom from the Bible which is the Source. And his wisdom is delivered with this cheerful humour! I will miss this mentor that I have been following, but look forward to meeting him in heaven. DV.
