The University of South Florida’s iPad band, Touch, is a student-led music ensemble. Audience participation is a key part of the band’s concerts, creating a lively experience where everyone is on their feet. Touch was formed in 2010 when Apple first introduced the iPad and inspired founder, David Williams, director of the USF School of Music, to explore the possibility of creating music with the tablet. Catch Touch when their "Turn the Quiet Down" tour is in town for a free performance on Tuesday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m. inside the USF Concert Hall on the Tampa campus.
