Love seeing Caroline and her mum bonding, such sweet scenes. The reveal that Jenna was a spy, followed by her stabbing herself is a great scene. Katherine is a great villan.
I felt bad for Mason. Just a surfer dude who was forced to turn then manipulated by Katherine into doing her bidding before getting killed by Damon. His whole life ruined because of his last name.
We have to remember that Bonnie is distant because her grandma DIED saving stefan and Damon. The person she loves most in the world is dead because of damon and Stefan. Anyone would need space after that
I don't think that's what they're criticizing. Anyone and everyone can accept it if she needs space. They were criticizing the fact that she distanced herself and then came in asking why she wasn't in the loop 😂
her mother left her, i think she isn't that close to her father. The only person she was close to her is her Grams and she DIED cause of katherine ughhh and then she turned her best friend into a vampire. It really SUCKS!!!! I am Team Bonnie always

Bonnie distancing herself from vampires IS her distancing herself from Elena because it's all connected. If you like and support Bonnie it's fine, but c'mon now you're just reaching to justify her 🙄😂
@@kaylaparks5516 the point is Bonnie distanced herself from the vampire stuff. She didn't mean to distance herself from Elena. But obviously the vampire stuff takes up a lot of Elena's life now. Bonnie was just asking for Elena to make time for her.
Very few people know that when STEFAN was crying at the end of the episode it was "REAL". Paul Wesley ( actor who plays Stefan ) said that at that time he was going through some bad phase in his life and he didn't wanted to shoot but Director of TVD knew it so he convinced him to do this scene so that it would felt real and it did. I know it's bad on the part of director but we got a wonderful emotional scene 😭😭
@@olavihekandjo2928 dude please if you can't agree it's ok but have some common sense please. yes the storyline was written months ago AGREE but the emotions were TRUE. Him CRYING wasn't just part of his ACTING, He was CRYING for REAL. Maybe now you understand. He doesn't wanted to DO THAT SCENE cause he needed some space with everything going on in his life he was barely keeping it together (as he said in the interview). But THE TVD DIRECTOR thinks that it's a good opportunity to SHOOT that DAMM scene cause it wouldn't look FAKE, cause if you make a emotionally vulnerable person to shoot a EMOTIONAL SCENE it is 100% Possible that his/her REACTION/ACTING WILL LOOK 1000% REAL. HAVE A GOOD NIGHT ;)
I think you hit the nail in the head when talking about the Bonnie situation and this applies to other aspects of the show... The difference between the characters that we find "good" because they are entertaining VS. the characters that we find MORALLLY "good"... Bonnie's stance can come across as bad or annoying if we look at it from the entertainment factor, we don't like that she is at odds with our main characters and our main group, she could be such an asset, etc... But morally she is right: the vampires, not just Damon, are the bad guys, the monsters; Not only because of Damon and Stefan's involvement in her grams dead but also Damon has been killing non stop since episode 1, abused Caroline, the many times he attacked Bonnie herself, etc... This is a similar scenario when we talk about people like Liz or the council, the regular humans and their prejudice towards vampires... From the point of view of the show we are annoyed and we can even call them "the bad guys" for going against our main characters and their hate of vampires, etc... But the reality is that they are not the bad guys or the monsters, they are protecting the ACTUAL innocent regular people that are helpless against these predators, Killing and hunting is in a vampire's basic nature and even a well behaved or controlled vampire only needs a bad day (not even that, a bad moment) to go on a killing spree. We as viewers have to keep in mind that we are watching the show from the POV of monsters, our main characters (most of them) ARE bad guys and our "villains" usually come in 2 categories: 1.- People that we just perceive as "bad guys" because they are going against our main characters but in reality they are just protecting themselves from supernatural monsters 2.- People that are just simply bigger monsters than our main guys... People that are actually worst in their actions or intentions and therefor are villainous... Bigger monsters than "our" monsters
I love that they included that in their discussion. Because it's something many viewers have to understand. Alot of us approach shows from an enjoyment perspective.. if the humans were being rooted for and they got their way this show would be so boring.
I mean for me it’s simple, if someone is trying to kill someone - they’re the bad guy. The council goes after vamps even if they’re not causing problems a lot of times, and vamps as a species sometimes kill someone, so everyone is kind of the bad guy. But that just shows- there aren’t any truly good or bad guys, everyone just has their intentions and motives. Sometimes we happen to be on the wrong or right side of them. Every group is fighting or themselves in the end.
In this universe witches (especially Bennet witches) are servents of nature. They are here to keep the balance. Bonnie was taught to hate vampires because they’re demons who torture people and witches have the power to stop them. So Bonnie is conflicted because she knows that vampires kill people but her friends make this complicated for her. It also doesn’t help when Damon is like 1 foot on the right side and 1 foot on the left.
It's the turning anytime part so werewolves, who don't want to turn don't have too. Mason doesn't want to turn anymore. Katherine offered to help lift the curse so he can control his turns meaning he never has to turn.
You guys call Bonnie judgy, but she has a right to not like vampires. I know from an entertainment point ya’ll want her to get over everything she’s been through so she can just be on the same team. She’s distant because her grandmother died, she’s been attacked, she’s seen people killed. She’s not friends with Damon or Stefan, so she doesn’t need to like them. She’s going through something very realistic, which is family loss and trauma. You can’t expect her to be all happy go lucky. She needs time to adjust, things have been moving very quickly. She’s also in high school, so she needs time.
The thing that pisses me off about Bonnie's attitude towards Caroline is that she never even acknowledged Caroline becoming a vampire WAS PARTLY HER FAULT!!! Bonnie was the one who got Damon to give Caroline his blood to heal her - and went against her own morals about staying away from vampires. Then Caroline ends up a vampire, through no fault of her own btw, and Bonnie is all judgy towards her? Hypocritical much, Bonnie? A good friend would have seen that one of her best friends was struggling with being this new creature and would have done anything she could do to help her best friend adapt so she didn't kill people. Instead, Bonnie avoids her and has major attitude when she makes her daylight ring. I was glad Bonnie finally chilled some this episode, and finally saw Caroline as strong and helpful and good.
You're spot on! I feel like many people expect other characters to do the sensible things, but when it comes to Bonnie they say "oh well her grams died", or this or that to justify it. This might be a hot take but I've seen this in many FB groups, where people cut her some slack/prop her up/defend her simple because she's black and they feel that they need to since she keeps getting screwed. And to me, as a black woman that is so disgustingly degrading.
Why are people confused about the curse? It's straight forward. Breaking the curse allows vampires to walk in the sun. For werewolves is that they turn at will.
Idk how yah like Damon and Elena RIGHT NOW cause since the first episode of season one he’s only done bad things and we all know Elena is gonna forgive him for killing her brother
