OMG yes Vampire Diaries is the best. I'm only 17 but I started watching this show when I was about 5 or 6 so I have got the luxury of growing up with this show and it's one of my favorites as well.

Maybe not the best show for such a little kid, but none of my my stuff was filtered or anything so that is quite sad I got exposed at a young age because of all the things that happen in the show, but I am happy that I got to experience this show all those years.

One of my favorite episodes ever!!! This is a really good episode to see the dynamic between characters, and to see where loyalties lie.

Part of the reason why I love this episode so much is _because_ it's so dense. It really encapsulates TVD so well. Yes, by the end of it you have to drink some water, take a few breaths, smoke a cigarette, whatever, and to me that's peak

"paralized from the waist down" *crack* "and dead" The first time in my life I moaned after seeing a murder on TV For me the #1 can't lose at this episode was first Katherine, I screamed when they attacked her, and then Elena, I screamed when they kidnapped her.

The "NOOO!" from Erin and little "yea-hee" from JD at 12:17 had me cackling! Erin being like: "I need this episode to be over," I get it. Lots is happening! I forgot so much about this episode that watching it with you all in this reaction really brings it to life for me. I love it when Katherine grabs the girl at the dance, paralyses her, and then leaves Stefan to clean it up -- I feel like that's a microcosm of what's happened over the past series with Damon. The Witch solidarity is also 10/10! "Everyone looking like SNACKS in this episode." 😆😆 "I want more witches, want more werewolves," I'm the same way. Like, Jenny, I know it's The VAMPIRE Diaries, but I'm a Witchy kind of guy 😆

I only like Bonnie in one specific season. For most of the show, Bonnie is just a horribly written and barely expanded on plot device. She’s easily one of my least favorites (of the main characters in TVD).

bonnie's character underwent its development, like the others. it's normal that some people don't like her at first. but it's interesting to watch the change in their attitude towards her, isn't it? 😊

@@boqndimitrov8693 The hate is unwarranted in my opinion whether now or before. Even if the character was badly written, which is true for characters not named Damon, Bonnie just comes of as the realest to me. Of course, that's because of Kat Graham and how she played Bonnie, not the writers. Just my opinion.

Same. I think for how she’s written maybe it’s easy to not like her, but KAT does a great job at playing her and brings so much sweet empathetic charm to the role, it’s hard not to liek HER, the actress.

I do enjoy the Vampire Diaries with all its flaws, but there is only a few episodes I would call actually great episodes of television, this is 100% one of them.
