It was the cunning that got me hooked on Klaus as a character. To find out he is the architect of a curse rumor that spanned different cultures and ages just to help himself showed his intelligence, selfishness, patience, and drive. It was some final boss move shit.

You will know everything. This series was very good written. Also Katarina has impacted brothers a lot.

You said that it was amazing that someone like Damon can love someone that much (Elena) but that's how Damon is tbh when he loves he loves way too much that emotions control him and he become impulsive (just like he was when he was in love with Katherine) he is definitely the emotional brother while Stefan is rational

klaus is one of the best character ever.

Ok, I'm going to be controversial, so bear with me a little... Everyone says that Damon compelled Andie to love him that morning after they hooked up but I always thought he was compelling Andie to say to everyone when they "asked" that she was falling for him. There's a difference between compelling someone to love you (I don't think that's even possible in this universe) and compelling someone in telling people that you are in love. I make that distinction because although he DID compelled her not to be afraid of him, he basically never compelled her to be in love with him. So I think Andie staying in this episode had to be because in a twisted way she cares for Damon (I'm not justifying Damon in this episode because what he did in that scene is just wrong, and why many people think he's a horrible character, abusive, controlling and just the worst) and I'm not denying that it's a really uncomfortable scene to watch because that scene is all that is wrong in an abusive relationship. But what I'm trying to say is that Damon never lied to Andie, he does tell her everything (even though she can't talk about it) and it was never established that he makes her stay at least I don't recall it. So Andie as a character is also very interesting because she's the poster child of women coming back to an abusive relationship... Just my two cents... Again I'm not justifying the awful nature of that relationship.

i like Klaus but always preferred Elijah. He had more presence for me in his firSt scene. His demeanor really projects his age and personality. Makes Damon and Stefans seem like children in his presence.

Elena is a top negotiator ngl talking/convincing is her strong point

katherina, Eliah and Klaus as well as the original family are other mysteries to uncover. I like Klaus even if he is the devil himself, if Damon is "terrible" Klaus is 10 times more terrible, but I love Eliah he is really interesting and also mysterious as a character represents the "good" brother like Stefan but unlike Stefan he doesn't fall in hypocrisy of his goodness, very elegant, strong but also vulnerable. Katherina was a heartthrob for many the truth that katherina was really fascinating and knew how to conquer back then. I hated Stefan a lot in this episode towards Damon, he does so always ready to criticize and judge Damon and hurt him with words, I understand that he is angry that Damon is in love with his girlfriend and it is right that he says that he is talking to his brother of this but they are ways and ways of doing it, words hurt more than gestures or a slap is said. Damon is used when you have to do the dirty work or save someone injured on all sides and you can all get scandalized why he does what he does and in turn hurts innocent people like Andie, of course I hated Damon in this scene maybe of more since I killed Lexi, but at the same time I appreciated her development and awareness of what she was doing leaving her free so as not to hurt her more or kill her I think if it was in the first season where she had humanity turned off she would not leave her Viva. Damon before sacrificing himself always looks for other possibilities to survive and this rule applies to himself and also to those he loves, he hates the fact that Stefan and Elena are martyrs and do not evaluate other possibilities of surviving easily surrendering to the idea that is unique solution is to sacrifice oneself. Someone says that Elena is selfish and useless as a character I personally now does not drive me crazy as a character and sometimes even if she wants to help her friends who try to keep her alive it complicates things a little more than helping them you cannot say about her who is selfish is a very empathic character and with means that he has from a human doppelganger does everything in turn to keep his friends alive, in short, here in this series everyone wants to save everyone and everyone sacrifices in their own way for others. Stefan even if he is hypocritical with Damon and morilist would have done what Damon does for Elena only that he having experience with Damon on his shoulders does not want to do with Elena what he did wrong with Damon so he leaves her the decision-making power over everything and I understand it but how I see it goes from being a boyfriend to being Elena's dog should he decide in their relationship too. Stefan said those words is because he feels a mixture of jealousy and frustration that he is not the one saving Elena does not bother him that Damon tries to keep Elena alive but because Damon if before he helped protect her now Damon protects Elena on his own and even if a little he does it in his own way, and Stefan doesn't like this.

Elijah is very handsome when he has shorter hair. Also, I met Daniel the actor and he was the nicest of all of the cast IMO, so warm and inviting to all the fans and cracking a lot of jokes and just being really upbeat and sweet. I genuinely loved him and it made me love Elijah even more. I also met Joseph, he was very sweet as well but seemed a bit quieter. Klaus has an advantage over Elijah because of he's a hybrid. Season 2 gets crazy with the backstory lol

Love your reaction as always! This is such an amazing episode :) It also holds one of the many examples of why, as much as I love Damon's character, I have never and will never support or ship him with Elena. When he attacks Andie and tells her "you know what happens when I get upset", it is just like an abusive partner and the things they say to excuse their behavior, not unlike the way he treated Caroline. Nearly every time he becomes upset/hurt, he lashes out and hurts or kills someone else and also does not respect Elena's choices. Now, I realize that ppl will likely come for me in the comments lol and I also realize that no character in this show is without their flaws as well as the fact that some leeway is added b/c these are vampires and this show is set in a supernatural setting, but I am just speaking my truth.

Everyone has a different taste so maybe Klaus isn't THAT attractive to her as he is for others, you know? In my opinion Klaus is a very handsome and charming charakter but also the most evil one (I will not spoiler anything🚫) Everytime I watched this show and fell in love with him I regretted it the moment he fell into his bad habits again, he's kinda like Damon but far more dangerous because he's more powerful than everyone else! I hope you'll enjoy the series finale, it's AWESOME❤️

Andie's feeling were genuine and I don't know how 😅 Damon only compelled her to not be afraid! she can't see this toxic relationship she's in and it's sad

Now in a lighter note I'm once again going to be controversial... everyone loves Klaus, he's the KING for most of the fandom... for me he's just one more character in this show... don't get me wrong, I don't hate him or anything but he's not my number one either. Of the Originals presented (ha, there's only two so far) I much prefer Elijah...

When u saw Klaus u said u didn't know what to say about him--- but u had the exact same expression that I had when he was revealed so I know what u were thinking u just didn't want to say it--- he's unattractive. (Que all the hate) I was waiting for this stunning handsome guy and I was like--- wuuuuhhh? It's ok, he has a complicated personality that makes some see him differently. I'm always conflicted when it comes to Klaus.

The love triangle was done so poorly imo. Brothers would never let a girl who clearly doesn't respect them come between them
