I love how you come up with so many theories and just flat out refuse to believe Meredith 😂😂. I love this episode for the writing of Meredith’s character!! It’s so well done!

Oh no - I’m about to watch the reaction, and I’m surprised at how many TVD fans refused to believe Meredith against all evidence lol. The only thing going against her at the end of this was Alaric’s main character syndrome. (Side character, but you know what I mean.)

I feel like in this episode we see that damon is doing his best to take up lexi’s mantle in his own villainous way. like how he said he would always be there to pull stephan back. i think there’s a part of him that feels bad for killing lexi, or at the very least recognizes that she was the one who used to pull him out of his evil periods. Maybe he’s doing it as his own way of trying to make amends for killing her. I do think he’s trying to help stephan, however I think there’s also a part of him that knows that elena seeing stephan feed on humans would make her like him less. She always liked that he didn’t drink human blood much. I feel like his main goal is helping stephan, but elena liking stephan less as a result is kind of a perk.

Damon had no idea that Elena would show up,like Damon said Stefan needs to learn control Stefan is a vampire they need human blood,animal blood keeps him weak (that alone could get him killed) and when he falls off the wagon he rips peoples heads off..I don’t understand why he refuses to do blood bags,he could keep his strength up and maybe learn a little bit of control,Stefan has some deep and horrific issues..

@@DellaMcgee-mc4rf I don’t disagree with anything you’ve said. My point about damon and elena wasn’t about that evening specifically. Damon’s plan is to get stephan back on human blood, full time, but controlled. Elena wouldn’t have to see it happen, just the knowledge that stephan was back on human blood would have been upsetting for her.

Season 3 is the best ^°^ I might need to rewatch it The white oak stuff: There are 2 primary tyoes of oak: White and red oak They should be pretty similar regrading the quality and strenghts of wood. They can stand a beating and are hardwoods so finding them in a table would make 100% sense. You can differentiate the trees (but mostly both look alike), and the wood. I read that red and white oak don't look that different except for their beige (white) and pinkish (red) undertones. Either way we have some Bokken one made of red one made of white oak. They're about 30 years old an varnished and the colour difference is striking. The red one is almost a chestnut colour now and the white is also much darker but still a light brown. Could be a coincidence, but yeah. I would have laughed if Elena's dinging Table would have been hiding the oak :D

12:45 ya got it! Surely it wouldn’t be that crazy for a woman to look up criminal records of a man?! It definitely doesn’t mean the person is trying to frame him! Women are abused and offed left and right by men. Apart from that, Meredith obviously takes this meticulous stalking and anti-framing (?!) very far lol This episode has a lot of (darkly?) funny moments. Stefan’s horrifying face-plant off the wagon and Damon’s reaction always get me. Oops!! 1/

In defense of Stefan’s pompous diary, that is the place one should voice such thoughts! It’s fine to think and express them. Better than to the people you’re dissing usually. Unfortunately, Stefan’s diaries are treated like a novels or reference books by other characters lol Honestly, I like your takes on the positives of being with a vampire better than Elena’s here. I don’t always mind when they retcon stuff, but her statements about Damon v Stefan made me roll my eyes. Elena’s issues with Stefan never had anything to do with him being too safe or boring; it was quite the opposite. But here the show seems to frame him as the previous “Matt,” comforting and appealing but here for no reason other than his vampirism. As opposed to Damon who is also just. There. I guess most people like romance in this series for vibes as opposed to any kind of logic, but it became too much of a stretch for me. XD 2/

As you probably now know, you have some good theories! Also I appreciate your take on Stefan. Many fans seem convinced if he just “tries harder” he’ll be fine. Damon is a *terrible* teacher but quite funny with his little attempts at encouragement. 3/
