Those ugly cakes are so nice for the morning because they’re not too sweet, they’re just perfect for some fruit and whipped cream too, and they’re shelf stable for ages!
You have to thaw the cream donut for 2 hours in the fridge to get that delicious cream texture!! (Although I’m sure it’s great to be enjoyed as an ice cream sandwich version too)
I grew up a short drive from Ithaca. The other day, I was actually thinking about the exact shirt you're wearing and how I grew up seeing those shirts on people everywhere, but I couldn't recall seeing anyone wearing one in a very long time. Nice shirt.
In my family, we cut up strawberries and sprinkle with a little sugar and let them sit for a while. It ends up making a liquid or syrup that we put on angel food cake. I wonder if the ugly cake would be a good blank slate for that or any other fruit topping like it. The texture, from when you tore it next to your microphone, makes me think it would be.

The cream doughnut reminds me of the German version (Krapfen/Pfannkuchen/Berliner)! Or try the Portuguese one! I am amazed of how awesome they make things!!!! 🤤💜
The Cake Ugly looks like it might be a good candidate for what my brother calls cake toast. You basically just pop some cake or cake-like dessert with no toppings into an air fryer for a few minutes to get the outside nice and crunchy bu the inside is still soft like toast.
@@arianapadilla9351 it’s a new trend but they look so good there’s a thin crunchy shell that forms around the outside but the inside is soft and gummy. It looks delicious and is something I could definitely see Emmy making.
It wasn't worth the price. The cream was frosty and even after thawing it, it did not have dairy flavors either. You would better buy or make raised donuts and eat them with cool whip.
That bunny hotdog thing sucks. I’ve had those before. All bread and a bit of hotdog. No condiments. Doesn’t make any sense. What’s the point of the hotdog?
