I really like how they expanded Hornsby as a character in the show. In the comics, he was barely a character that we've seen only twice in the whole series.

I was at make shift 'hospital' for the filming in Senoia. It was filmed at the Farmers market right across the railroad tracks from Alexandria. 😎

Maggie does not want to leave her community cause it is where Glenn is buried. It is sad.

Why should Gabriel and Aaron wear armor? They fought tons of walkers without it in the past. They handled themselves just fine.

I loved the development for Mercer and Max and their relationships with Princess and Eugene. 11B's been great imo.

Hornsby is my favorite antagonist since Alpha, maybe even on par with Alpha at this point. He's like, the least physically threatening man but he's too good at what he does. And the more unhinged he becomes, the more I feel like we're gonna see what he can do when he resorts to brute force, this man might be an ANIMAL lol Also with the F bombs it depends what version you watch. For example when they're in the box at Terminus an uncensored version has Rick say "they're f**kin with the wrong people". Also, also as cool as Leah's actress is playing her character, I hate Leah so much LOL. She was normal, and then she was like Daryl left so I'm gonna join a murder cult and kill peaceful communities. Then she betrays said murder cult for Daryl, and proceeds to be upset about it and LEAD the murder cult. Then the murder cult dies and she's even MORE mad about it, so instead of cutting her loses and minding her business she goes and attacks Commonwealth shit and might want revenge on the community HER people attacked first? It just sounds like they really want her to be a villain

Apologies for my lengthy and late comment as we are a week behind in the UK so saw this episode on Monday 4th. LOVE the opening scene with Fth. Gabe & Aaron nodding and looking at each other in agreement to Lance going back over their story with Gabe saying "we barely survived" lying through their teeth, LOL (Heavenly Father please forgive Fth. Gabe🙏🏾) and then Daryl giving them that look as to keep that story tight/together and stay tight lipped about this, and the slight nod to them before he pulls the door up behind him and walks off. Wondering if Lance was testing Fth. Gabe & Aaron to see if they really could handle themselves taking out them walkers in the woods, but then Daryl decided to join in, he wasn't letting them do it alone. Was wondering if he was thinking this confirmed they lied, they took out my soldiers with help or was he thinking further ahead that he could use them? Good to see Not Ezekiel looking better/brighter, 'Zeek didn't feel good about jumping the queue and this was his way of giving/paying back or his 2nd chance at life doing some good. I do wonder if that's why Tomi hid his previous profession in the Commonwealth because he couldn't handle the stress of it all and he hits the bottle and pills when it becomes too much because he takes losing a patient very personally? Look at Max & Eugene getting it on with a kiss, plus she's starting to trust Eugene. Don't know if I like to see Mercer with a tear running down his face, not just yet anyway and over two soldiers that we didn't seem that close too, would have liked to see a bit more to make him cry, but admittedly, I did feel sorry for him and I guess it shows us he's a man of principle, maaan its spoiling that tough image they gave this "hunk of a man" when we were first introduced to him putting Eugene & team through the assessment/inspection stages in his "pumpkin suit.😆 Not sure it's clever for Eugene & Rosita to be encouraging Connie & Kelly to put out a story on Sebastian & possibly Lance (I cannot stand either of them) and the stolen money and people being used to get it to pay off their debts, but losing many lives over it, could be risky putting them in danger or possibly killed. How does Lance know that hat even belongs to Hershel anyway? Even if it is a perfect fit, that's just him guessing at best, because when he saw Hershel back in Episode 12 on his visit to "Hilltop", Hershel was playing about in that orange helmet matching Mercer's commonwealth uniform if I remember correctly - UNLESS, DUH DUH DUUUHHHH of course the Commonwealth soldier who radioed his sergeant (the soldier Negan killed with his crowbar/wrecking bar in front of Hershel saving him) he said they found a kid hiding in a truck on the perimeter, he now relayed that info' back to Lance and Lance has put two and two together when he found a child's hat in the building because that soldier didn't get a chance to give a description of the child, so again, Lance was trying to dig further to get a 100% confirmation from Hershel to see if him and his mother were there in that building, but it could belong to another child who may also have been there too? Love the way Elijah just slams Lance up against the wall when he caught that slivering snake🐍/devil👹 around Hershel trying to get info' out of him, but looks like Maggie taught him well, he didn't say anything and glad Maggie and Daryl showed up in time weapons drawn at the ready and pointing at him. As much as I loathe the man, Lance is the "perfect antagonist", I don't think anyone else would have suited the role, he plays it perfectly. Daryl switched on him because with Daryl no matter what, "FAMILY COMES FIRST", however when he was pretending to do that fake apology to Maggie before he walked off about "sorry if there was any miscommunication...shame we couldn't be friends" and then he turned and walked off still giving her the side eye and the fake smile turned into an evil "you point a gun at ME, you just wait", I'm now thinking I don't know if snake🐍Lance is going to get Leah to join the Commonwealth, but be an outsider "cold assassin" for him and he's going to ask her to take out Maggie and she'll do it with pleasure without him having to ask twice for her revenge for Maggie wiping out her "Reapers" squad/family as she called them. That way in his mind, he gets "Hilltop" and possibly "Oceanside" to join Commonwealth because "Oceanside" won't have Maggie to wait for and can go ahead and join, but even though it may be a plan of his, I don't think he's going to be successful. Lance cannot handle being told "NO", especially by Maggie at the moment because for him its all about looking good in front of Pamela and Maggie refusing is in Lance's mind, his favourite saying, "not a good look for me" or could we somehow see Leah going after those who Lance suspects including Aaron and Gabe', not just stopping at Maggie, could he find a connection with Negan and the group he was with too and Leah goes for him accidentally killing Negan's wife Annie with child? Anyway, enough of my wild thoughts. LOVED your reaction guys.

I'm still waiting on Hornsby to do something actually villainous. I actually agreed with how he manipulated Eugene in order to find Alexandria, Hilltop and Oceanside for a chance to expand Commonwealth and improve more lives. We still don't really know what his secret project is. Him and Sebastian send people out into the world to get money in exchange for better lives, but I'm okay with that as long as it's consensual or not forced (that's capitalism for you). He actually had probable cause to sus Negan's group for killing his troops and stealing supplies since Leah assumably made fake tracks to frame them. Did he even know that Carlson would kill as much as he did rather than focus on interrogation, or was Carlson's trigger happiness and ruthlessness a result of withdrawal that Hornsby didn't even account for? We haven't really seen Commonwealth troops be efficient zombie killers without the use of firearms, so making Gabe and Aaron handle that one group actually made sense if he thinks his soldiers couldn't handle it. Him needing to investigate Hilltop made plenty sense and reminded me of when police get permission to search a property without a warrant because of probable cause. I feel like they took him talking to Herschel way too seriously, like he threatened the kid's life or something. Even when he found Leah, he didn't kill her rather than just offered her a job and place in the Commonwealth. I know the show is painting him as a villain through tension produced by ominous music and suspense, but there's so much gray area in terms of his goals/motivations and morality/ethics that I'm still waiting on a plot twist to reveal that he isn't so bad.

I would trust any of the Normies equally. Although it's debatable if I would be of any use, being a hopeful hippie nerd character.
