I hate how David has the nerve to say that Javi didn't care about his father, even though it was bad timing when Javi got blocked off by traffic. I always fought him because he said that, my irl brother said the same thing and it became a nasty fight.
Actually, Javi was out partying, and got caught in traffic trying to return home last minute, everyone else had been at the house, the whole time during the father's final moments.
So… Javi said that David abandoned his WHOLE family just because he tried to help THEIR mother & take her to the hospital not knowing a whole Zombie Apocalypse was happening. They were both wrong, people just side w/ Javi because he’s the player character. THEN he makes a move on his wife. I’d literally never treat my brother like that, that’s his sister in law.
Reminds me of that scene from the simpsons where Moe the bartender goes after the kid Jimbo and he says he wasn’t gonna kill him but cut him a little lol
@@tallic967 they did that if u go after gabe first and get mauled, honestly thought i got a bad ending but then the death screen showed up and i was so confused
He is basically doesn't give an excuse honestly all he wanted is just fights or having argument with you despite the choices you choose helping or sided with David through out the episode he still somewhat calls Javi a selfish who doesn't care about families blood. Which is pretty dumb and completely so stupid
I still think it's just an option Telltale made to make the choices look important, but they're still not. The same situation happened in season 1 when Lee had to jump off of a building, but when you didn't click in a right moment, he would just slip and fall after saying the jump will be easy. I guess David would never kill Javi, he'd stop.
It's one of the problems when it came to Telltale, choices ultimately didn't matter until the ending. They offered different dialogue and some things would be different. (Ava or Tapp) But overall; the story is predestined with the ending being ALMOST different. If you want a game where your actions do matter. Games like Heavy Rain or Detroit: Become Human are impacted by your choices. Failing QTE's will result in a character's death and if you let ALL the playable characters die; there is a destined ending for such failure.
In this scenario he still wouldn't kill him.... He was just angry and accidentally did so, hence the surprised pikachu reaction after..... He didn't really mean it
Clementine would go HAYWIRE on David if that actually happened. But sometimes I wish this game was like Until Dawn, where if you fuck up you don't have to die.
You can laugh all you want but this is my ending. He kills Javier, and fin... Make him regret and his family will run away from him after that no doubt! True victory.
This is why i hate David he is a selfish man even to his family, he always angry to Javi saying that he always care about himself no matter how many times he helps David, i acted asshole to him through out my game - In Episode 1 i didn't accept his hand after he punched Javi - In Episode 3 i team up with Clementine againts David agreeing what she says about David, and also such as when Clementine begs Javi to not open the door for David to let him die, i heard her words loud and clear and didn't open the door - I choose to leave with Kate because David was about to send off Javi back to the road, which cause both of them briefly fight at Episode 4 - In Episode 4 my Javi falls in love with Kate because they both were perfect with each other. David was an abusive husband towards Kate and abandoning her in post-apocalypse only to join and build The New Frontiers (so Javi is a perfect husband for Kate) - I choose to save Tripp because he is Javi's partner he saved Javi more than once and helping his family as well from The New Frontiers (although pick this choice is killing Tripp but since both Tripp and Ava died in Episode 5 so i pick this choice so Tripp died but knowing Javi try his best to save him), while Ava is David's partner she and Javi just met each other and also the only thing she do is kicks Javi out from Richmond (she isn't worthed to me) - I prevent Gabe to not help David (such as when David told Gabe to back him up in a battlefield, like seriously what kind of father orders his son in battlefield, he is not a soldier he is a just a boy, he is not try to protect his son but just only endangered his son's life (even though Gabe sometimes is annoying but i don't like the way he recklessly try to help his stubborn dad without protecting and safety for himself's first) - In Episode 5 i told Salvador (Javi's father) to tell his wife about the cancer, although this choice is sided with David (but i didn't side with David) i only do this for Javi's father not David. When Salvador begs Javi to be brothers with David, i refuse to because Javi and David were never be brothers. Which was true - I didn't stand with him on the ledge after he killed Rufus and tries to kill fern as well - I blamed him for Mariana's death - I fought him on my game (the moment i've been waiting for i always wanted to punch him after he punched Javi in Episode 1 and it felt good seeing him being punched) - And finally David died while Gabe and Kate lives in the ending Edit : What's more sickening right now is that many people defends and loves David saying "oh David is good guy he cared for his family", "i love David he is my favorite character", "David is a good person" like all of that really makes me angry, like seriously how could you defend a guy who is a very stubborn person and always angry to other people, always feels pride talking about a soldier, always angry with Javi saying he always cared about himself and ready to kill his own brother, hitting his own son with a wrench in the forehead and doesn't apologize, kicking out Clementine (a 13 year old kid) who was only trying to help AJ curing from his sickness, left his wife and kids during the post-apocalypse, selfishly cursing at his own father because he doesn't want to tell his wife about the cancer, broke a poor women's arm who just lost her child and killing her husband infront of her and threatens to kill her as well ? If you guys criticized me for hating on David, go ahead but its a fact
Its impressive of how Javi a former baseball guy could give a few punches and block David's wrench and headbutted him, whilst David who is an army guy couldn't even give a single punch to Javi. David really gets humiliated by his brother
David is honestly the worst characters of Telltales Walking Dead. Honestly i don't really understand what the writers doing with his character, they make him the "older brother" to the main character so people would feel sad and symphatize towards him but yet they make him an abusive asshole at the same time. The writers are clearly doesn't know what should they do with his character and decide to make him unredeemable in the good ending or kills him off in the other alternative endings despite your choices of being friendly towards David which is very dumb and completely so stupid. And yet the fanboys defended his abusive actions and says he has character development. The fans who like him are also completely stupid and blind for this because of David being the "older brother" to the main character its honestly dumb and ridiculous
Wish more deaths like this were dragged out instead of the sudden game overs. For me this looks almost like "Oh shit! They failed that QTE?!" More than someone realizing "Oh God... I killed my brother..."
What did you expect you said you'd do it I didn't actually think there would be a scene for that I thought someone would just stop em but then again it's an x related scene so those scenes you really gotta fight back
Tbh this should have been like a permanent thing where if you managed to fuck this up. You’d finish this season by playing as Clem then when you got to the results screen. Telltale would congratulate you on astronomically fucking up so bad😂
@@chavezwhite9182 I mean yeah I get that but u don't fucking kill people over it.Especially not family members like UR OWN BROTHER.Like ffs man.I mean,if my brother stole my wife we'd get in a fight for sure, but we wouldn't fucking kill each other.Like ffs man.
@@N_ASSASSIN2024 it's the zombie apocalypse he's at his breaking point.. he lost his town his best friend and his wife.. it doesn't justify what he did but its understandable why he acted the way he did. Javi does deserve an ass whooping tho if he gets with Kate not death tho
I didn't know there was gonna be a game over screen when you refrain to fight him why didn't they put a game over screen when Lee chooses to fight Kenny on the train but refrain for Kenny to beat him to death
Yeah exactly that's what i'm wondering but she only shot at David when Javi (the player struggle to press the Q to not get killed by David with the wrench)
Yeah exactly that's what i'm wondering but she only shot at David when Javi (the player struggle to press the Q to not get killed by David with the wrench)
Yup which is very dumb and completely stupid. I don't know what Telltale's thinking they forced you to cheated with your brother's wife and Telltale also making David being a brother to David so everyone would feel sympathetic and sad but at the same time they make David an angrily asshole to his brother (despite of your choices of siding with David through out the episode + not cheating with Kate)
Yeah but when if he didn't kiss Kate I would want David to beat Kate's ass but if he did kiss her than that's just wrong as hell I would want both of their asses beat the fuck up
@Demogorgan Vloger yeah but Kate pushed him so I feel like if u kissed Kate it would be both their fault but if u didn't it would be Kate's fault but the fight.. Yeah Kate started it so it's all her fault
It's a good story, if you play A New Frontier not as Clementine's guardian, but as a stranger. At least from Javier's POV, Clementine is a stranger to him. So that's why I didn't kill Conrad when he suggested to use Clementine as bargaining chip.
It fucking sucked. Javi was stealing his own brother's wife (if the player was actively pursuing that anyway, which most did) and acts like David is the bad guy, lmao. At best it was disjointed to shit and at worst it was a bullshit soap opera love triangle - not to mention the startling lack of Clementine in the game. By far the worst one in the franchise
@@ARG0Tyou act like this is Javi and Kate's fault but you only see the 1 side but how about the other side of the choices where Javi reject and didn't cheated towards Kate. David still wanted to fight with you whatsoever which makes 0℅ sense... Which is very dumb and completely so bullshit
