@@TvReferences I think its sybolism in displaying how void of life those spaces are, combined that with the cinematic score and dark color schemes, makes it a pretty effective intro throughout seasons 1-5

Yeah for me I think its like a twist of Shane's photo, looking like a regular man, but as we see how he changed the photo looks eerie. The drop I think for me makes it feel evil, unusual, mysterious.

and in the S11 for a split second you can see Mercer’s red suit in the front. there’s soo many amazing details in 9-11 that make up for them not being the live action ones. One of my favourites is seeing Michonne and Judith’s swords.Judith’s sword is show to almost be leaning on Michonne’s. but once Michonne leaves to find Rick, Judith’s sword is standing on its own, showing how she has had to learn to fight for herself and be her own saviour

Beth's death always gets me, her realizing what she had to do and dying because of it, not to mention when Daryl carries her out and Maggie cries. 😭

The deaths that got me the most were lori and tdogg(because they were the same episode, we thought carol died with them at the time, it was the most death in an episode yet(of main characters) and i was like 7 years old watching that for the first time) hershel(that shit tore me up i immediately cried my fucking soul out that was the last thing i was expecting, once again i was like 8 when this one aired.), beth(i had the biggest crush on her lmao), glenns fakeout season 6 death(bro i started screaming at the tv i couldnt believe it.), glenn and abraham(im ngl i cheered during abrahams because it wasnt glenn or daryl and i knew he was gonna die because it felt right.), carls i was in denial for but i didnt really cry, i saw spoilers for henry, and honestly the last death to REALLY hit me and these fucking hit me as big as hershels, was the series finale deaths of luke, jules, and rosita. Because…God Damn. The acting during luke and jules deaths- and the fear because of how fast they died in the finale- that shit scared me so much and lukes group BREAKING DOWN during that scene was some of the best fucking acting ive seen on that fucking show and then fucking rositas death when she was so calm and told eugene dont cry because shes right the- OMMMMFG that whole finale killed me. That - ive rewatched it 5 times cried like a baby everytime that shit was so sad.

Season 9 and 10 were really good season 11 has been good so far as well. I just watched them this year I stopped at season 8 like you but I'm so glad I got back into it.
