The show gets better and better Daryl gained more fans all over the world with the way he took charge after Rick lost it He rallied the group gave instructions and was so gentle and loving with the baby He also showed how much he cares for his friend Carol.
Greg Nicotero: The idea is supposed to be that the Walker has sort of dragged her around the corner of that boiler room There’s actually a blood trail that continues past the Walker and goes around the corner. Some of the little touches we added was there was bits of hair in It’s mouth and hair in his hand when it reaches up towards Rick And it was just one of those things that we really wanted to show that this thing had feasted on her as horrible as it is. He went on to mention that they didn’t want seeing her eaten body to take away from the impact of her death in the previous episode.
Rick’s acting is insane you can feel the extreme blind rage that he’s in you can see in his eyes that he’s gone. Andrea and Michonne were alone together for 8 months that’s way longer than when she was with Rick’s group, I don’t get how she can so easily throw away an entire friendship they built up over that long
Hard to watch Rick be so out of it but it gives us a chance to see how Daryl can rise to the occasion as a leader for this group. But artistically, Rick being pretty much mentally and emotionally done highlights the humanness of the protagonist. He's our hero but he's very much human and therefore can be absolutely vulnerable to the reality of loss, trauma and grief.
Intelligent. Observant. Emotions are on the outside but in check. And you're putting your soul out there in plain view, and it is great to see. Said it once before and I'll say it again, "Once word gets out on you this channel is gonna blow up." Let the light shine.
Daryl is the ultimate Lieutenant It was during this time you started seeing t-shirts that said Mrs Daryl Dixon or If Daryl Dies We Riot I mean he was a badass before and a kind man Now he’s badass a kind man AND taking care of a baby I mean Gawd.
I love Michonne and would probably follow her just about anywhere she asked me to, but to be fair to Andrea, she's not really giving much of a good argument to leave Woodbury. It's mostly vague sayings like, "This place isn't what they say it is", and the one thing she said about not being able to leave got proven "wrong". At least tell her about the locked up walkers she just killed, and bullet holes on the tank. Tell her how things don't add up and what these things are. Yeah, Andrea can just trust Michonne's judgment, but from episode 3, it's clear that Michonne's very closed off from Andrea, in turn making Andrea feel like she doesn't really "know" Michonne despite spending months together of just the two of them. It probably feels like a onesided relationship on her end, even though she knows Michonne cares about her. Michonne's been defensive regarding Woodbury from jump and hasn't let up. When you look at the situation from Andrea's perspective, it really does look like Michonne is self sabotaging, most likely from trauma of being alone in this world. In a world like this, it's very easy to become "paranoid" to the point that you end up missing out on good things that can benefit you. I mean, look at #TeamPrison and how much they've changed for being "out there" struggling. Glenn, Mr Wholesome, is talking about how he wished they killed all of the prisoners on sight, despite about 2 or 3 of them seemed like good people now. And that's with a whole group. Michonne was alone when she met Andrea, I can see how it would seem like she was "out there" too long in general, let alone "out there" by yourself or one other stranger. Andrea hasn't seen anything wrong. Michonne has and we have, but what had Andrea seen to make her think there's something wrong with Woodbury. If I stumbled on a thriving community where I can even get a good night rest in this world, after dealing with walkers, harsh winters, constantly starving, almost dying, I might need a little more than, "This is place isn't what they say it is" and an explanation too. Michonne's right, but she doesn't really make the best argument as to why, so I can't really blame Andrea for not leaving...
I agree with some of this. Michonne is awesome but her weakness is her communication. If I was Andrea i’d forsure want to stay or at least think about staying in Woodbury. The only thing is Michonne has shown you by her actions that’s a good person. She saved Andrea life then was taking care of her while she was sick. I think in the end it would come down I got stick by friend and not let her go alone. Great points and comment on your part😀
Just now catching up to all of your reactions to this show. No matter what happened this has been my favorite show since the beginning!! I.ve watched it from the beginning to the end at least 25 times, and it doesn.t seem to get old, because it helped during hard times; was therapeutic for a lot us at the time; Looking forward to taking this journey AGAIN, w/ you and all of your subscribers... Subscribed🥳✌️
16:00 yea especially after Michonne took care of her all that time when she was so sick. In general I couldn’t watch my friend leave. And to stay with some strangers??
Imo, Michonne is TO suspicious and Andrea is not suspicious enough. I can completely understand Andrea feeling the way she does. I always remind myself that they don't know about zombies or an apocalypse. So if I put myself in their shoes, why would I be suspicious of anyone
I’m type that “if it’s too good to be true” you gotta look around some more! Agree the both should find a happy medium. I wouldn’t let my friend go out without me tho
Rick had to be strong for so many months keeping everyone safe we saw how he was hardened and bad ass keeping everything in He was the one keeping all the shit together being the one everyone looked to and relied on having everyone’s welfare on his shoulders Lori’s death (and just when it seemed they might reconcile and get back to a more normal relationship with some time back to more how it was) just made him lose it and everything caught up to him Everything he’s had to endure for the past however long it was getting shot being in a coma waking up to a hellish world looking for his family then finally finding them All the stuff he’s had to do is keep them safe his fall out with Shane and then having to kill his best friend and Carl having to put said friend down Then their other losses then finally Lori’s death finally broke him And his son having to put his own mother down and Rick wondering what this world is going to do to his son and how can he protect him from that and then having a new baby living in this world from the get go All he’s had to face is and all he’ll have to face just overwhelmed him like a tsunami and he collapsed under all that weight And he probably felt guilt as well that he hadn’t tried to reconcile things with Lori sooner and now it’s too late I can see how that would drive someone crazy. Great shot of Rick mowing through all those Walkers with the axe and then showing Michonne mowing through them with her katana.
Rip Lori from season 1 episode 1 to season 3 episode 4 T Dog from season 1 episode 2 to season 3 episode 4 and Carol from Season 1 episode 3 to season 3 episode 4, you skip the part, when Daryl was at Carol's grave in this episode, he put a Cherokee Rose on her grave, like he told her in season 2 episode 4, also I don’t blame Andrea for staying at Woodbury, she tired of running, I would stay to
Yeah, poor Rick has gone bye-bye. I didn't like Lori, but I dislike Andrea more. I get what she's saying, but she doesn't want to see the red flags and she's not a good friend and.... Well, she's one of those dumb smart people. 🤪
