To say 2014's 'Lost in the Dream' was a breakthrough album for Philly rockers The War on Drugs would be a vast understatement. We've been eagerly anticipating their followup, 'A Deeper Understanding,' and they did not disappoint. We share highlights from a live session recorded at Apogee Studio.

I'm late to the party. I've heard of the band for years but never heard them. I stumbled across them on RU-vid about a month ago and ran out an bought this LP. It hasn't left my turntable since. I haven't been this excited about a "new" band in forever.

I was in a record store in downtown Tulsa, digging through records, and this album was playing. Good background music for a quiet Sunday dig. Then this song came on and it just grabbed me. Great song and and album.
