Damn hopefully our next family vacation will be New York I'm trying to convince my wife to go there 😂😂 how long will it take to visit all of these locations?
West Coast Graffiti Come to town! Lol. It takes some time. This particular set is all in the same location but lol... The full Monty covers the city map lol.
I remember passing through broadway junction train station as a 7yr old kid and seeing it all lit up at night, not knowing they were filming the one movie i would obsess over for the rest of my life. Broadway junction was like a 5 minute drive from my house back then.
Wow New York. To an English guy like me with a fascination for the USA and a love of the warriors since I was a kid these videos are are awsome to me. Thank you for uploading.
I'd feel an overwhelming sense of deja vu if I were at these locations. I have seen the movie so many times. It's on IMDB in my list of movies I have seen at least 200 times. Absolutely brilliant. This was awesome. Thank you, Nick.
Being from Germany I remember seeing the film when I was twenty. Epitomized the Seventies New York , filmed nearly entirely at night with memorable characters. Being in my Sixties now, your work revived great memories and reminds me of sympathy with a criminal gang like todays Blacklist characters. Thanks for your arduous detailed work 👍👍👍
@@NickP I want to thank you for sharing this I always thought it was filming in the Bronx Woodlawn Cemetery I learned a lot from watching your video this is one of my favorite time movies

Absolutely incredible really good research I do a lot of movie locations myself how did you find all the streets it’s been so long since the movie came out
Thanks a lot!! I take some pride in finding some locations but I can’t take credit for these here. I looked them up online. However, in part 6 I found the final scene which has been unknown for sure for a while. I’m going to check your channel out too. Very cool.
Wow what a cool video Iam a huge Warrior Fan from Los Angeles California and I told myself one day I need to visit Coney Island...... Need to watch the rest of your videos, thanks buddy appreciate these videos a lot.......👍
Love your videos mate - glad you showed that graveyard. I remember watching that scene in film and noticing that birthplace on one the graves was Leicester, U.K, which is the town where I am from and still live! Of all the places in the world!😁
Thanks to you i had a chance to visit the film locations like this one, unfortunely the cemetery was closed after 5.30 p.m. we were a bit to late. Have to come back for this one from europe. But its all worth it!
LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!! I (Marcel) really enjoy "filming location" videos and Warriors is one of my very favorite movies back in the day (as I mentioned in my comment on part 1) AWESOME job!!! Thank you for this!!! I am patiently awaiting the other parts!!! Great job!!! :)

SRP Designs WOW! What an awesome comment!! Thanks a lot and proud that an awesome person like yourself got me to that milestone!! It’s amazing how time flies.... Thanks again! Very happy to hear!!
@@NickPYoure very welcome Nick I watched part 3.. I cant believe that the 72ns st stop was in the movie.. I was using that stop all last summer because my physical theory was on 75th.. Completely blew me away!!
Geez. I remember the word goin around that someone was filming a movie on Broadway, through the tunnel going toward Bushwick and Burger King, lol. I couldn’t believe how many times they had to run through that tunnel and how much bigger they made it look in the movie when I finally saw it😁
cheers nick what an insight to a great movie been to all these more or less sights but your story s great nick im from the uk and saw this movie when it first came out and all my mates were doing all the lines of course "CAN YOU DIG IT " AND "LOOKS LIKE THE FURIES DROPPED THE BAT "THE CHICKS ARE PACKED !"THE TURBULL A CS "AJAX" THOUSE LOUSY SKINHEADED FUCKS " and my favourite scene is vermin on the subway after the chase with the turnbull ACs is line "THEM CATS WHERE SOME DESPERATE DOODS "brilliant
Cheers for the video, if possible the iconic cover shot, confused me, where was that exactly, along the fence? Or opposite the road - aside from that awesome content
Nick we all know it’s just a movie. What some movies psychologically just don’t leave our psyche. What a great movie directed by Walter Hill. I remember in the early 70s when New York City had gangs. The Savage Skulls, The Nomads, and more. If you have never seen it please check out The Education of Sonny Carson. Guess who’s in it? Cyrus has a role as one of the gang members. Made in 1974. Cyrus was also in the Lords of Discipline. They were all made by Paramount Pictures
I love this movie an I'm gunna watch it again as soon as watched all the locations lol. Its amazing seeing these places in dry daylight they look so much more open, it's a credit to the makers that with a lot of water sprayed about to cause long reflections an dark almost moonless night shooting they made this seem pinned in and claustrophobic.
I'm curious to know how you managed to find the exact locations -- particularly the elevated train (the El) locations. There's miles and miles and miles of those structures all over the boroughs (except Manhattan, of course).
I just commented on someone else’s blog on the Warriors. Yours is better. 10x better. You Musta had studied this film. I always wondered where I can find the original building where The Apartment (1960) was filmed in Manhattan.
Broadway Junction. I know it ALL TOO WELL throughout the my 34 years. Lots of times running like they did from the J or L train to catch that A train down the escalator. I lived about 2 blocks away from that biggie mural @10:23, They painted that about 6 months before I moved out of NYC for good to Dallas. I miss NY with every being but i don;t miss the snow and high rent
How the hell did you find that gravestone.....I always thought that part was shot in a studio....because them street lamps in the boneyard looked a bit dodgy....noticed they seem to be gone now
I did some online research and when I arrived I matched up the road in the cemetery where the cops drove in vs where the Warriors were hiding. I wasn't sure myself until I was there in person. Yes, they may have put those up for the movie, not sure... Thanks
@@NickP I'm from the UK but remember a work colleague who went to NYC 25 years ago and ended up in the Bronx by accident and he said it was absolutely terrifying and thought he was going to get killed
4:35 - 5:51 That's the overpass of the L train. So it looks like the gang ran from the cemetery to that overpass before going up Cooke Ct to Eastern Parkway.
