In EU the price includes VAT, outside EU - there is no tax added, but... the price is calculated to include the more significant shipping cost (which is free worldwide for the buyer). Again... Thank You for Your opinion. Unfortunately I don't ship to the UK directly. But there will be a distributor that has few Vespera timepieces available - launching his e-commerce in a couple of days. @NadirWatches: Your comments on VAT and pricing sound a bit confusing. EU VAT only applies to buyers in EU countries, all others do not pay EU VAT. I am not sure what your comment regarding shipping costs means in the context of VAT since your website states "free worldwide shipping".
I was lucky enough to review this watch and I have to say one rarely gets as much watch for the money. Should one like its design, all I can say is that the quality of materials and finishing are as good as any, with a special highlight on the strap. That being said, I know there’s a bracelet in the works.
That's a really fabulous looking watch. The only negative I see is the dial does look a bit flat, but that's a field watch. I wish the maker the best of luck. It looks fantastic.
There are way too many, bang for buck watches with these specs and there(about) price tag...but this is actually a looker! And that strap,hmm. My only regret with most of field/military inspired watches is a lack of lume....why not combine best of field, sea and air into a single masterpiece? Would not be for 500, but who cares when it comes to a grail watch 🤗 in this case, I would not insist on a bracelet - this piece will grace my office not a bootcamp, which is anyway reserved to a G-Shock 😅 thank you for great review and if I may ask, please bring in more office watches....these are scarce in reviews all around internet
Always been interested in this brand since coming across them on IG. Loved the review mate and it seems we share the same thoughts on the logo at 12. Love it otherwise.
It's perfect except for the size, which is too big for my little wrist! T_T I would love a rotating 12H internal bezel, but no one wants to make them since the NH34 came out.
Going to have to disagree that this watch is easier to read the a GMT watch. The GMT hand literally points to the time in your time zone you set for. This watch I have to look were I set the 12 count down to the zone time etc.
Yeah , very cool and the bezel will likely ease up to perfect . I like them that way . I also wonder if in the stead of cheaping out on lume it's rather a refined as per intended use lower level of lumen . You don't want a big blue flashlight on your wrist during a night infiltration evolution .
Dave, when I went to the Nadir site to buy, I found the US price to be ten Euros higher than price to European residents. Plus, there was no adjustment for VAT. For the illogic of those two cost factors, I passed.
Hi Chris, Thank You for the comment. I just replied to Your email. There is no VAT tax included in the price for the US market. The price for the US visitor is lower than for the EU visitor. Not lower by the amount of VAT exactly, as the price policy compensates for 3-4 times more expensive shipping cost of the watch across the ocean. I hope this post explains the pricing policy and what the international buyer pays in the end. Have a great day!
I completely agree that a 12-hour rotating bezel with a 60-minute track is very functional. I wish more watchmaker's would incorporate the feature. I also like the inner bezel, although the 12th hour marker at least should be lumed and probably designated with a triangle rather than the number to facilitate using the bezel for timing. One unfortunate thing, however, and not to disparage the watchmaker's name, but I don't think that "nadir", which means lowest point in English, is a good brand name.
Hi :) Thank You for Your comment. Regarding the name - I'm aware of the "common" meaning of the word... but we would rather stick to the astronomical origins (the opposite to Zenith, the point right below the observer) that are more "international and universal" :)
I think it looks fantastic except for that big bar on the face. I think in low light Im going to lose the hands around 3 o clock and it wont be able to tell the time at a glance when they around 3. If he's going to keep that bar it should have been a different color from the hands like a pvd black .. heck any color but white. As it is its a very distinctive feature but I think it will come at the cost of legibility. I can't have that in a watch I've found.
Great review. That silver date bar thing is awful. Also missed a trick with a GMT movement and 24hr ring. And the lume.... Just charge $100 more and do it right.
Actually - there is a GMT model currently in the works :) It will use the GMT (Miyota 9075) movement and will have a more layered dial, so the lume application will provide more flexibility than on the printed dial. I hope that You'll like it once it arrives:)
Nice design. The band across the date section is neat. I would prefer losing Nadir or extending the band over towards 9 and placing it there as plain script...i would also go with nonpolished fixed bezel... but of course thats just me and others may prefer as is.
Hi! Thank You for the comment. Actually - Black and Grey version have a brushed bezel. The blue was designed as the most "dressy" choice, therefore - this polished bezel feature.
That's like my favorite thing about a 12 hour bezel. Once it's set you can reference anytime on your dial, and at a glance look to the corresponding number on the bezel to see what time it would be in the other time zone.
This is a week known problem of internationally accepted branding. Good example is Mitsubishi Pajero, which was distributed as Montero in North America, Spain, and Latin America (except for Brazil and Jamaica) due to the term "pajero" being derogatory (meaning "wanker") in Spanish
Yup, time for another reimbursed paid watch review. Sorry, I have to call them what they are. Want a truly real, fair watch review? Don't watch these guys who are required by law to inform you about a watch Company they have been reimbursed by in cash payment or free products from.
@GodIsInHisHeaven yes & those who have worked harder to maintain an honest reputation when dealing in the watch world should also be rewarded but not by receiving free watch products from watch Companies I'm supposed to be fairly reviewing. Sorry, difference of one's reputation I guess, Good Luck.

You make it sound like it's immoral, but paid advertising has always been around and it's not like negative points were not mentioned as part of the review. Why are you still watching Dave's videos if you have a problem with this? We're all adults, you 'choose' whether to buy, nobody is forcing you to. But trying to slag off someone's reputation publicly even though he's done everything above board is a dick move.
@GodIsInHisHeaven sure it's my business & the business of every honest watch review reputation on RU-vid. Remember way back in the late 90's & early 2000's when everyone started hearing about these wonderful "Swiss Made" watches called "Invicta" people thought were the real deal until International Law forced them to admit they were Chinese Garbage. Now International Law forces guys like Dave from Japan to admit they are reimbursed employees by these Garbage watch Companies So people a bit less as intelligent as you can understand what they are 👀.
