This is a WILD and DEEP sounding reverb. It's surprisingly low-noise and gets WET. Cavernous and dark, just like the ocean for which it's named.
I built this from a kit from MOD Kits, it's all point-to-point wiring inside, which was a nice way to start to learn how to modify tube amps, but with a less lethal amount of voltage inside (still dangerous!!). This was a nice step up from building pedals. It's actually easier in some ways because there's more space to work in.
I've had it for a few years and I finally made a video about it! Check it out and enjoy some surfy sounds (and some doomy ones too).
