They really missed an opportunity to give us the Dragonsblood spear skin for this return to event. I wondered why mat prices dropped so much this week. Thanks for these weekly updates! I cannot wait until Halloween. I'm hoping for some new homestead decorations.
True! I like the current skin, but Dragonsblood would've been truly amazing. Most of the material prices (t5/6) are due to Volatile Magic, I think. Pair that with ectos falling to nearly 30s because of the abundance of unidentified gear, and things are cheaper than they've been in quite a while. Can't wait for Halloween, either! It's still my favourite festival of the bunch.
I am super happy you are properly mentioning both the opportunity cost and the cost of materials that gw2 efficiency doesn't consider. If I meet any more people who think that absolutely anything in SOTO is good gold per hour I swear I will give up on humanity. Again.
The tools we have are amazing, but it's indeed important to understand their quirks. I expected a bit more out of SotO crafting profitwise as well, but I think our best bet will be the new spear.
I suspect a lot of people are doing what I'm doing, using lowered trophy prices to craft legendaries, which puts more pressure on mystic coins to match the increased supply.
I actually don't know what I've done to sound different, but it's not worse, so I'll take it. Crystalline Dust is indeed one to watch, especially as it can play a pivotal role in future T5 > T6 upgrades.
@@phandrel it's just slightly a little higher pitched, more clear trebles and highs with less bass in your voice on a 7.1 system. It could be as simple as sitting closer to the mic this week. Sounds great!
Some of the more expensive are a pain to make (and easy to mess up if you don't pay attention), which is why a lot of people don't bother. Usually a good opportunity whenever they're part of the chest.
It seems afk farming restrictions made every event extremely impactful on market prices. I like it. Though i find it harder to make groups for fractals and strikes. Either player are more interested in rushes or EU population took a hard hit on numbers... There is always a probability that i am just a complainer 😊
I think we might be in a bit of a content lull, as we're in that weird mid-point between the release and the next patch. There's probably quite a few players who've done the content and then gotten back to other things. There's also WoW that released, Throne and Liberty last week, and this week Diablo 4's expansion. I assume not all have an overlap with the GW2 player base, but wouldn't be surprised it siphoned off some players nonetheless.
