What now guys?! Mad Murdoch here with a brand new video style of mine, a 'Deep Analysis' for 'Thursday', one of The Weeknd's first mixtapes. The 10th anniversary of 'Thursday' was almost half a month ago now, I really wanted to upload this video then; but was not aware or prepared for the amount of work I had to put in to create the video I envisioned. The script alone took me a few weeks to think about, then actually writing the script took a few days, I ended up with about 3500 words, structured and punctuated in a way I was happy with. Video Editing was the truly tedious part, took me hours and days to slowly build up each part of the narrative, making sure that each transition was smooth, each video and picture was selected for a reason and that the music I used suited every moment. I'm straying from my comfort zone of reaction videos, in an attempt to pursue my goal or dream of directing video production, filled with thoughts, emotion and imagination. I'm incredibly eager to release my first video like this and am hoping to receive feedback from anyone, good or bad :) Hope you guys enjoy, have a good one and I'll catch ya's later!
