Elmer is in need of money, so he can pay the bank and not lose his shop. Some whiskey peddlers come to town and try to talk him into selling their whiskey to make the money. Nicodemus finds a bottle of whiskey. As him and Marshal Gunter try to hunt the whiskey peddlers down, Nicodemus must overcome the temptation of going back to drinking.
