That's what you get for supporting Pedowood with one Marxissist disaster after another. What were you expecting, quality content & interesting characters instead of the world's dumbest political narratives?
This show with Cavill as lead had the potential to be one of the best shows ever created. Netflix has really ruined that for themselves by moving away from the books and dropping Henry.
Great badass line - but if i'm fair this is one of the things I don't like about this adaptation. For me the books and even the games (at least for the most part) are about how geralt as powerful as he is, he still cannot change the whole world and make suddenly everything alright, but he has agency to try and do what he believes to be the right thing and deal with the conesquences of that. So again, great line but this "truth" of this series more resembles lotr or some traditional tale of heroism and not the witcher - because the idea that whole nations and armies at war and their consequences on hundered of thousands of people are nothing compared to a single witcher kinda negates the point of it all. Could've said "He would stop at nothing in order to protect ciri". Side note: I could be wrong and in the show itself we are expected to somehow critisize the words of Jaskier exactly for the reasons I wrote above, but somehow I find it hard to believe that would be the case from what i've seen from the show up until now (messege and complexity wise).
He didn't even know about the books before the showrunner told him about them lol. In any case, doesn't really matter who the witcher is played by when Ciri is the main character as per the books so she will get a lot more screentime from now on.
@@bhargavpatel2720 he literally said in several interviews on camera he only started the books after being cast and had no knowledge of them when playing the games lol. also having both played the games and read the books, the games have very little to do with the books
@@mari-anne stop pulling random ass fake information out of your ass. Go watch his most famous interviews on this topic where he clearly mentions he started reading the books because of how much he loved the game witcher 3 and he wanted to stick to the source material. In an interview after season 1 he said indirectly that he convinced the writers to keep some originality to the character atleast. Also the show is named the witcher and not ciri, take a hint.
Have you conveniently forgot the HATE Henry got when they announced him as Geralt??? Have you seen Liam on the Role??? Can you see the future??? Teach me how you do it!!!!
@@shrektheswampless6102 Did they?? Hmm, curious, In the 2nd season everyone said that exact words, now that we have the 3rd season which is 60/70% book correct you say that??? MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!!
1:20 That scene actually gives me hope that at least Tissaia won‘t die. If they deviate from the books as they already have, this would be the one change I‘d appreciate. This actress is so good. Still, I‘m really sad that these will be the last scenes with Henry Cavill. As of now, I can‘t imagine any other than him playing Geralt. It just fit so well 🥺
Henry, thank you for being Geralt. Anya and Freya, thank you both for stellar performances as the three of you made a foundation of making like able versions of these characters. But the show will never be the same without Henry.
I personally think that also I felt in love with the show because of him I don't think no one gonna be as him it's definitely a big shoes to fill up all that's said he always be Geralt to me
Only 500k people tuned in for the finale (episode 5) this season. Bruh 500,000 people. That drop off is absolutely insane compared to how popular it was.
The last line "There's no coming back from this'' 😭😭 Netflix fu*ked this show that much that there is no comeback😢swear m going to uninstall Netflix after this season
Never? I mean if he had died, and ten or fifteen years passed, I think someone could replace him. Why they’re going with the proven, big movie, and big series, failure Hemsworth, is beyond me. Some actors and actresses, who get some hype when they’re young, but just never get over, have big careers, when they get older, but I won’t be holding my breath. He’s like Sam Worthington, getting hyped off Avatar, then a Clash of the Titans remake, that was terrible, an even worse sequel began his fall from leading roles in theatrical releases. It showed that it really doesn’t matter, who Cameron puts in the roles as the Navi, in those sequels.
imagine making a succesful show about a witcher played by henry cavill, and then continue with the show but without the reason for its success 😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣
@@DROWN- You're going to feel really weird when 85% of the audience comes back to watch season 4. Online fanbases vastly overestimate their contribution to the audiences that follow a show.
Honestly I hope in a future season to see them fight and stay together because splitting them up is repetitive and at moment becomes boring! Also maybe at the end of the season Geralt is going to join the Wild Hunt and they will use that to explain the change of actors
@@LNER985 it already has people will leave after season 3 if they haven’t already after the train wreck you call season 2 didn’t drive them away the only reason this show had any hype coming out was cuz of the games and books
Ciri falling into the sand dunes and her seeing the unicorn gave me chills and reminded me of the same excited feeling I had when reading her part in the books when I had no idea how she was was going to survive
Unicorns were in Aen Ell world ....desert its east south witcherworld next to mountains separate Nilfgard empire on south .... desert called Korhat or "Frying pan" they twist all Mages werent good guys in books yousupoused to be happy that elfs mascarated them ...they turn it wrong all twisted.... im glad that Henry leave this shity project.
Henry Cavill is just the best Actor for the Witcher role. Nobody can replace him. He is the face of Geralt of Rivia. He is a real great Actor....... HENRY CAVILL 💙📽️💎🙏
I would dismantle Netflix in their meetings. You chose to produce this show because of the rich story. You had all the material you needed to produce something amazing. You were fortunate enough to have an actor that actually knew who Geralt was and how to play him. You hired writers that don’t respect the material and who believe they know better then the book. Unfortunately that’s not how this works. It’s Netflix’s decision to make the show. It was their choice to hire the people they hired that turned this into a circus show. No one owes you anything, especially not the customers. Their whole job is to produce something entertaining enough for us the consumer to want to pay for the subscriptions. Don’t ever blame the people that you’re trying to sell to. it never ends well. That’s actually very weak and also shows the lack of leadership in that company. You had the material and you had the actor for something potentially amazing. It’s on them and only them. They deserve the backlash. Unfortunately they won’t learn.
I'm going to give Liam Hemsworth's Geralt a chance, but he definitely has an uphill battle ahead of him to try to match Cavill's performance as Geralt.
I don't know who made the trailer but everything about it is awesome. The music is just great. The shots are all intriguing and in the right sequence. Let this person do season 4.
It's wonderful! Yes, I've read books, and I like this series. I'll watch season 3. And I hope I can watch seasons 4 and 5. Netflix, if you're reading this, please do season 4 and 5. And let it be no worse than season 3. This series has not only haters. But also the fans.
People are way too harsh. I don't even understand why everybody want shows to 100% copy the source material, if i was a fan of the books i'd be happy if they switched things up so i that i didn't know exactly what's going to happen.
Love from 🇮🇳India. We r going to miss u so badly Henry. Ur the best out there hollywood can offer to me. Ur everybit of inspiration to me. Im never gonna recover from not having you in the coming seasons. This series is so much loved because of ur charisma. U n Anya’s chemistry infiltrates my bone marrow 😭😭😭. Gonna miss u lots. Cant wait for ur comeback even stronger next time. Love ❤️ u lotsszzz😭🥹
This looks better. My main criticism is how much Geralt and Yennefer's entire characters seem to be increasingly reduced to loving and protecting ciri, they're not really their own people that much. The Witcher is a lot more than a feel-good family drama series; Geralt and Yennefer are both fascinating philosophical characters in the books!
@@2minutesfacts40I mean it looks like they split again yennefer protecting the mages, ciri doing her own thing and geralt fighting and protecting everyone.
The common problem with all this fandom shitstrom about the show and Cavill is, that the fandom demands that the showrunners have to do an adaption. But to be honest from the first day and interviews they always hinted out that the show is "based on the books". I dont think the show wants to be an adaption. So yes, the main plot and characters comes from the books. OK. The funny thing about all this is... if many of the "shitstormers" would have really red the books they would agree that Cavill is nothing like Gerald in the books. Starting from his age an physical stature. He is way too "pretty". All this agreement with Cavill comes from the game, and to be honest only from the third one, because Gerald has a total different appearance in the first and second game. So please.. people...fandom... haters... believers... whatever you call yourself. Stop this. The show is what it is, a fantasy show based on Sapkowskis worldbuilding. If you dont like it, just stop watching it and also stop complaining all the time. Or try to change your point of view and watch the show as it is.
The tears in Geralt’s eyes🥹It will be hard to say goodbye to the series. But Henry is irreplaceable as Geralt of Rivia. Can’t believe Netflix did this😒 Farewell Henry & Farewell Witcher 😢

Man seeing where all this will go literally send shivers to me , i read the books like 7 years ago in 2016 and i still remember everything will happen, and its literally like a dream coming true, reading the books was intense, every page , incident, encounter felt so real , gave me goosebumps, so what about now seeing all of that on the screen ? Cant say anything but just prepare yourself for the events of your lives my friends and remember these names. VILGEFORTZ, LEO BONHART , STEFAN SKELLEN, CAHIR , MILVA , ANGLOUME , REGIS ❤️🐺⚔️.
There has to be another reason Henry is leaving other than "the writers are ignoring the books" given that he didn't even know there were books until Lauren told him - he was a fan of the games, not the books. And apparently this season is closer to the books than S2 was (I've only read The Last Wish, Sword of Destiny and Blood of Elves so I can't say whether that's true or not). I know some people assumed it was because of Superman but...well, if that's the case then it hasn't really worked out for him. (side note: I did not enjoy S2 because it differed from the book it was based on a lot and also, Lauren's behaviour on twitter is...something else entirely) I'll be honest, at this point I'm only watching the Jaskier scenes of this show, but I think Freya and Anya are doing tremendous jobs too, and it sucks that people are whining about how the show is "nothing without Henry" when Anya, Freya and Joey are doing such incredible work and will continue to carry this show going forwards. Joey, especially, has done a lot by appearing in the spin-off (crap though that spin-off was from what I can tell) and by helping to write the songs etc. It just feels really disrespectful to them and the rest of the cast that people are claiming there's "no Witcher without Henry" - anyone who thinks that was never really a fan of the Witcher in the first place.
omg this is exactly my thoughts , THANK YOU , i had been struggling to find someone in the comments with common sense. All those people got on my nerves so hard , ignoring anything else that doesnt evolve around henri cavill...so sick of that childish behavior , they are just whining and whining , again and again...like f**cking children , it got really on my nerves , it litterally became a trend to whine about henri's leaving and they love to romanticize SO MUCH about it when we never actually read the truth anywhere. You can dislike the writers take on some parts but dont f****** include henri everywhere like he's some god or whatever. Chill out and grow up
Ok you’re an idiot. He’s exclaimed multiple times he’s read the books since he was a child and has a deep love for the world and lore. I very much doubt that Lauren has even properly read the books seeing as every character has been butchered beyond belief, the only character who wasn’t was Geralt and that’s because of Henry. People say Henry is the Witcher and there’s no show without him are right. He’s was the only one who stood up to the writers about their changes and clearly expressed his disagreement and Henry’s popularity and reasoning to leave is rather clear seeing as when he announced he was leaving the show tried to drag his name through the mud. A former member of staff came out and said the writers and Lauren herself openly mocked the source material. Henry was this show. There was a 48% drop in viewership on comparison to season 2 and that will get even higher when Henry’s gone. He was the fans Geralt, the fans Witcher. And now they are replacing him with a worse actor who will roll over and question nothing Netflix does which is what they want. Even the other actors said Henry carried the show.
I tried to stay, but I'm finally tapping out after episode 7, where you have him again lying all beaten up while you go and tell the stories you actually wanted to leverage the franchise for. It's supposed to be "The Witcher".
Season 3 is the last as far as I’m concerned. I can’t see anyone else as The Witcher. Henry did an OUTSTANDING job. Great job Netflix, you just messed up another great show, AGAIN.
The perfect song to symbolize Geralts journey and Henry cavils journey as Geralt which was full of pain but also beauty. Incredibly bitter sweet end because he was perfect.
@@DanFree7 I’m glad you are because I am not haha, it was hard to read this and now it’s going to be painful to see it on screen. They’ve been quite accurate this season😅🥺
@@Joab03291999 pretty much series finale for id wager 1/3 of the audience. Geralt has been the only thing keeping some of us in the show past season 2. I know I will stop watching after season 3, so the series finale better be worth my while.
Am i only one who also wants to hear that song from woodkid ? Also Henry u will be missed dearly u were the one who carried the series (for me also I love Freya and Anya performance)
Netflix has the reverse Midas touch lately. Everything that is gold they either ruin or cancel. This show had the potential to be a ten season smash hit, and they destroyed it after 3.
This season of The Witcher has been great. Best season so far and I can't wait to see the epic battle ahead. Henry Cavill crybaby fans will hopefully finally leave so those that just enjoy watching a fantasy series can have fun without crying and complaining comments at every turn. The rest of the cast is wonderful and I hope to see them prosper.
So glad Cavill is moving on. He was never Geralt for me - way too buff, too goody-two-shoes, too wooden. We need someone with a bit more 'edge'. Can't wait to see what Liam brings - I think his cockiness may work well.
