My class was doing a gothic topic for English and my teacher put the trailer and then she accidentally scrolled down to the comments and we saw your comment and the whole class was laughing, I’m 14 and so was my class
Remember my dad taking me to see this when I was 10. Was so excited and terrified at the same time. A group of girls sat crying behind me and I sat there feeling hard, pretending it didn't have anything on me. Almost ten years later I'm now at film school making horror movies of my own. Thanks Dad
@@GenevasplaytimeTHERE IS NO SUCH A SHIT AS LOVECRAFT UNLESS YOU ARE TRYING TO POSESS DANIEL RADCLIFFE AND DYLAN O’BRIEN YOU PIECE OF SHIT. KNOW THIS THE DEVIL KNOWS EVERYTHING ONLY BECAUSE GOD TELLS HIM
For those who haven't seen it, I strongly recommend you do. A wonderfully classic horror movie that used atmosphere and chilling themes, without resorting to cheap cgi effects or gore favoured in a lot of horror films these days.
London Robinson your comment was mostly correct except the genre of this movie is gothic not horror the difference is that horror shows all gore and gothic doesn't but yeah this is a good movie I agree with you
I watched this when I was like 6 and I had literal nightmares till I was like 8..... and I'm gonna watch it again......in literacy it's compulsory. .................
I watched this live in theatre in London yesterday, absolutely amazing. Lots of comedic scenes and the women in black actually goes across the audience. It’s so good and so scary. Lots of my friends were crying and I was sitting there amazing by the staging and actors. I definitely recommend. p.s, we were on a school trip. :)
Saw this done by a local theatre group. Was so mesmerised by what was happening, when the woman in black walked down the aisle on my right and her dress brushed my arm I just froze. My daughter shook me to get me to breathe again. Now I know why people don’t run away in scary situations. You literally can’t move. Loved the show so will now watch the movie.
Just watched this movie recently and as a horror film fan I was very skeptical of Daniel’s performance on what it would be but he smashed it! As with the musicals and plays you always think he’s Harry Potter until the stage lights come on or when he’s in another movie and the camera turns on he’s always impressive.
it was such an amazing film, everyone clapped when he had the child and then everyone was like oooh at the cinema. fully booked as well. reading the book now
Great film - started off laughing, then jumping out of my seat with fright, then cried at the ending! Anyone else cry at the ending or was it just me??
It wasn't THAT scary but it's definitely better than a lot of horror films these days. No blood for the sake of blood or anything like that. Just creepy.
Haven't seen the film but I went to the play and it was scary.. but ultimately pretty weak. I dont remember anything about it now... so it didn't make much impression
I saw this yesterday and it was amazing, yeah it was scary but sooo good. Dan is an amazing actor which made this film better! I want to see it again soo much and I highly recommend this film! :) x
I remember my sisters gossiping about watching a horror movie, and me trying to be the bravest 8 year old in the world said I wanted to watch with them, they said ok but warned me that it was scary, I told them I could handle it, well this is the movie they played and even though I kept my eyes closed for 90% of the film I was still traumatised for a year
After this movie I had to do pee As a indian I was gone outside to do And there was lots of tree And I was just not trying look those trees (Sorry for bad English)
This film is amazing I bought the DVD two days ago and watched for the first time its absolutely amazing! It's nothing like the book at all. And it's not scary there's just parts in it that make me jump!
My harry Potter.... Daniel Radcliffe😘😍 he is my first crush... Daniel is my favorite hero forever... I love harry... And he is a one of the great actor in Hollywood 😌
This is a great film. A lot more scary/jumpy than you'd think. The rocking chair and face at the window bits were the most poop your pants moments for me :)
