Yeah, playing those fights at the intended speed made them way harder than before. It took me a while to readjust to the game not lagging a lot!

Wonder Red's character design is literally inspired by Viewtiful Joe. If you enjoyed that game, you'll most definitely love this.

That's how most character actions games work. You don't even unlock all your abilities in Devil May Cry V until you beat the game and even the hardest difficulties in these games are redesigned for a more challenging experience. For example, the hardest difficulty of Bayonetta removes witch time from the game, but once you master all the mechanics, the entire combat system is designed without witch time in mind. The challenge is that is just hard as fuck because you rely on it so much, but then the crutch is taken away from you.

To me, it's backwards, as trying to replay Uprising to beat the hardest objectives can be a shore due to the insane amount of practice and grinding for best weapons. Like for examples, beating Chapter 4's boss without using going to the second floor is a piece of cake, but things like beating every chapter in difficulty 9.0 can be incredibly frustating and can turn off some people from 100% the game. I would say things like the boss rush and unlocking weapons like Palutena's Bow is the best part of the replayibility, though.

I swear that Kid Icarus's Boss Rush on hard is the hardest thing I've ever beaten, and I don't want to go through it ever again! As for everything else, here's a tip: You know how people in the internet says "There isn't a best weapon in the game because it depends on your playstyle!" Well... that's pure crap, because there IS a best weapon in the game, it's either the Beam Claws or the Artillery Claws. Because even without a speed modifier, you move so fast that you can afford to keep shooting while moving to evade enemy fire, kind of like the flying sections. Also, you'll definitely want the Evasion+4 modifier, since it'll let you combo a dodge into another dodge. If you can get Speed+4, then do it, is super broken as well. But when it comes to breaking the game, nothing does so more shamelessly than the In-Peril Autododge+3. It runs on RNG, but it's SUPER reliable! It'll help you to survive until you recover BIG TIME!!!

I've been sitting on like 3 videos which I have all fully written out, but I have absolutely no time to record voice over now because my family is all stuck with me because of Coronovirus. Also, I've been a little lazy too, but that's my excuse.

I'm still working on stuff. I've just been incredibly busy and COVID-19 has kind of ruined my video making process cause I have 0 time to record voice over when my entire family is locked in with me. Not much else to say, but I'm hoping to have something done sometime this month.

One thing I think hurt this game was that everyone goes into it thinking you need to use the touchscreen to draw shapes, when the right analog stick feels like the intended way to do it. It's like they designed the entire system to work without the Gamepad, but then gave players the option to just for the sake of using the Wii U technology. Frankly, if you go into this game thinking you have to use the touchscreen, It's sort of sets you up for failure.

I haven't tried it out yet, but I've seen some footage of it and it looks pretty cool. It's exactly like a Vergil equivalent where you can use Vorkken's OP unite attacks. Not exactly sure how it differs entirely, but it's a neat addition.

I don’t care what anyone says, the Wii U was great! Pikmin 3, Smash 4, Bayonetta 2, The Wonderful 101, Xenoblade X, Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad, free online, virtual console, backwards compatibility, and functional controllers! Wasn’t perfect, no Gamecube virtual console, no Animal Crossing, too many 2D platformers, no Metroid, and a lackluster use of the main gimmick, but it is still an underrated gem!

I was thinking of doing a retrospective of all of the games at some point. Don't know when that will happen tho. Time isn't really a concern though cause I do shit way too late all the time anyways.
