This is the first round where I started to work on my iron swing setup and balance. I'm trying to exaggerate the feeling of staying on my heels and I think you can tell when watching this one. Thanks for watching and have a Merry Christmas!

LOL same. I didn't realize it at the time but saw that when I watched the clip. I would have felt so bad. We'll name him Kenny Loggins because he was flying through the danger zone.

I haven’t played it in many years, but my son does regularly. He’s a beginner at this point. If you could do Gunpowder, that would be interesting.

I notice you stand quite far from the ball. Is that intentional? Kind of a single plane technique?

Yes, I do stand a little farther from the ball than most but I have the most consistent ball striking this way. I grew up playing baseball and didn't get to play golf until I was in my late 20s. Never had a lesson and have yet to be fitted. All of my equipment is either pre-owned or off the rack lol.

I'm working on my iron swing to stay more on my heels and to not reach as much. With this change I've been pulling my irons a little left but I really like the progress so far. I've had a few rounds at 84 and an 83 since The Woodlands so stay tuned for more in the coming weeks

Quite like reaching for the ball a little bit at address, especially with driver and fairways. Widens the arc for more speed and would rather have a toe strike then a weak, healy, cutty one
