TLDR: Wanted to do a build guide since couldn't find one on youtube. All in all it is EXTREMELY simple, foam is pre cut, then 60he module thats already assembled, screw that in - then keycaps and switches.....that's literally it.
Finally got my hands on the 60HE Module along with the stock Alumaze case from wooting.
Wanted to give wooting a chance here, especially since everyone seems to be leaning towards other cases instead of the alumaze.
It's surprisingly the best stock keyboard I've ever used...I did use different foam (that was included) and tape mod but those aren't really anything crazy when it comes to mod and still consider the board pretty much stock...def give the module and alumaze a chance!

The silicone switchpad was the one already stock installed on the module not poron. But great build just built the same one put 5 layers of tape

Pretty good, but I do highly recommend lubing the switches (or at least the springs) as you can definitely hear the spring ping reverb in the aluminum case.

The silicone pad is the one that comes preinstalled with the module, the poron pad is the black one, idk but that foam you put in the case is meant for if you are waiting on a case to arrive so u can put the pcb on top of it and still use it until the case arrives.

So I actually just used my old wooting 60he (original model in plastic) and used that pcb into a tofu… This time I used the foam provided and it honestly sounds like shit….same tape mod too. I think the sound is so bad because the stock 60g lekkers are awful. I took another commenters advice and got the magnetic gateron jades, hopefully that improves the sound. Thanks for the comment though I’m learning a lot about keyboards I’m a noob lol.

Thanks for the video. I just built the same keyboard and had the same confusion. No start to finish build videos, so good job! I swapped the silicone for the poron. Not sure what mod I want to try next but I’m loving the keyboard as it is. Wooting module. Wooting alumaze. Raptor switches.

Awesome! I just re-build my first wooting into the tofu redux and love it...using gateron jade in those. I will see that the l45 vs the jade....it's not an auto win for the jades imo I still really like the lekker 45s!

Hello. I've heard that the boog75 has the hall effect switches and has a very premium quality build. If you want to review it and have the money/ can get it sent out to you. I would love to know what you think about it.

I really appreciate the offer but it’s ok, I’m def not an expert when it comes to mechanical keyboards so I’m def not the guy to give a review. From what I’ve seen from meletrix, overall it looks like an incredible keyboard and honest the pre built price isn’t bad compared to other keebs.

I have an Apex Pro TKl 2023 that I am returning even though the keyboard is good because the GG software is absolutely horrendous bloatware and is a huge headache. To replace it, I just bought the wooting module, black alumaze, and opted for the L60 switches. Also got the wrist wrest. It arrives in 3 days!!! Hope I feel the same way about my setup as you do yours! PS- this is my first customizable keyboard and I was wondering, is the tape mod something that most people would recommend doing? Also any thoughts on the L45 vs L60 switches?

I personally prefer the sound profile of the L45 but the I like the heavier feel of the L60. Take that for what you feel since I do have heavier hands. I really love this setup and I’m sure you’ll love it too. I think the tape mod is pretty popular since it’s so easy and I believe it adds a bit to the sound profile but I’m not an expert. I’m gonna post another video of this board vs the tofu 60 with L60 vs the gateron jades.
