Daniel Victor no. Terry would NEVER GO TO UNITED. He was at the academy since 14 and was ALREADY captain before Abramovich came. It’s more likely giggs wouldn’t gone to Chelsea. They finished 4th the season before roman bought them. And best barca 3-1 in the UCL
What if Abramovich bought the Spurs Me: Geez, I wonder what kind of powerhouse could they build. Irish Guy: United would have Lampard, Terry, Bale, Ronaldo, Giggs, Scholes, Robben, Rooney, Ballack, Berbatov, Tevez, Ferdinand, Pogba wouldn't leave and they would not buy Veron and Hargreaves... and Newcastle would have been ok.
The description says that _The Irish Guy takes a look at every Premier League club_ , despite the video being about Roman Abramovich buying Spurs... *INTERESTING...*
You should do a series were you look at each premier league club and what it would take to reach their former expectations i.e. Arsenal: Premier League winners
Do you mean each on a separate video or one every premier league team video, because other than mid table clubs, the top 5 all would be winning the league with the bottom 7, 8 teams all surviving relegation
This is how I would see it: 2013/14: Because of the aging squad SAF left. I imagine that with Jose Premier League - 4th League Cup - WINNERS/Runners-up FA Cup - WINNERS Champions League - QF Community Shield - WINNERS 2014/15: Premier League - WINNERS League Cup - QF/SF FA Cup - WINNERS Champions League - QF Community Shield - WINNERS 2015/16 (3rd Season Syndrome) : Premier League - 6th League Cup - SF FA Cup - WINNERS Champions League - QF Community Shield - WINNERS
My guess he would have brought in Pirlo, who left Milan in 2011, signed Cahill at the start of the season and Hazard who had just won Ligue 1 with Lille. Chelsea finish 3rd that season, but another FA Cup and a closely run 2-1 win over Bayern in the CL Final, instead of penalties means he earns his 3rd CL and another few seasons at the Bridge. Meanwhile Spurs still just manage to finish 4th and Arsenal miss out on the CL. Mata probably ends up at United earlier than irl to fill the void of Rooney who had become an out and out striker by this point. The City/United game at the Etihad in April ends 1-1 thanks to Mata's influence, meaning no. 20 comes earlier than irl with United 3 points clear of City in the end. City eventually win the league as they bring in Van Persie for the 12-13 season as Fergie bows out of football with an FA Cup instead, still signing Zaha but also bringing in Lewandowski to come in for the 13-14 season. Hopefully, either Solskjaer or Blanc are picked by Fergie to continue the fort and not David Moyes, who stays at Everton. As for PSG and Real Madrid, the Parisians decide to bring in Didier Deschamps (Laurent Blanc was France manager at the time) for the first two seasons, winning Ligue 1 in the second after Ibrahimovic signed for them, before the events of these two clubs clash. Real Madrid's years go largely unchanged. Title in 2012 before Mourinho leaves at the end of 2013, but not to go back to Chelsea, instead going to PSG and bringing the likes of Oscar, Willian, Cavani, Ozil and even Ronaldo with him. And yes, they scoop every possible trophy in 13-14, beating Ancelotti's Chelsea in the CL quarter, overwhelming Simeone's Atletico in the semi and finally beating Guardiola's Bayern in the final (Bayern's 3rd successive final btw as they beat Dortmund again in this semi) I would go for further but I'll stop with Real Madrid. They bring in Zidane for the 13-14 season and despite losing Ronaldo and Ozil, still manage to sign Bale (though the world record fee is still Ronaldo with his move to PSG) as well as a certain French youth prospect, think his name may have been Mbappe? Like Ancelotti irl finishes 3rd and reaches the Copa final, being overwhelmed by a Messi and Alexis inspired Barcelona, and losing to Dortmund (with Aubameyang replacing Lewandowski) in the CL quarter final. Zidane is sent back to the Castilla side afterwards and they try a few managers to bring in the Liga, eventually bringing in Ancelotti who manages a few more league titles in 13-14 and 14-15 at Chelsea, bowing out a Blues legend. Pirlo and Lampard also leave Chelsea at this point for the MLS. His replacement is Guus Hiddink for at the very least the 15-16 season, finishing at least 4th ahead of City and Liverpool as Leicester's dream title still happens. Meaning Guardiola either goes to Chelsea or United with City not in a position to entice him enough after 1 league title and not getting past the CL Ro16 still. I'll leave it there for now, Ancelotti staying at Chelsea would have probably been for the better honestly, they shouldn't have replaced him with Villas Boas at least.
@@LoightaFluwid I think Ozil had said before that he liked playing under Mourinho, so if anything he'd at least be going with him. It is quite known Ronaldo didn't have the best relationship though
Mad Mothz ngl Pompey were spending beyond their means so for them to not go into financial trouble it would have likely meant they would not have been able to buy half the talent they did. The same talent that guided them to an FA Cup win and a Europa League spot for example.
Pompey did have a good squad, but once Redknapp left, they had bad managers and with them selling members of the squad. But in that Irish guy universe in that video, redknapp would have stayed at Pompey so there would be no Tony Adams burning down the club.
But honestly tho, Terry and Giggs in the same team would be a nightmare for their teammates... the dressing room would've gone to sh*t so maybe they wouldn't be as succesful
I honestly doubt that. United have always needed a top personality as the captain since Fergie left and I think Terry could have been that guy they needed, especially in the mid-2000s before Vidic came in. I mean sure it might have been chaos having both Terry and Giggs running the dressing room. God knows what would have ended up happening
As a United fan, I'd take Bale as a replacement for Ronaldo, though having Liverpool winning in the 00s instead of 19-20? Sir Alex's brain would have melted.
“A club hurtling head first towards relegation” - the season before he took over Chelsea finished in the champions league spots (ahead of Liverpool) and had players like Zola, Petit, Desailly and Hasselbaink on the books. Doesn’t seem like relegation fodder to me :L Comparing Chelsea to Man City’s takeover is the biggest myth in football they are nothing alike. Chelsea had great players and were competing in the League before Abramovich took over
He did say Chelsea would be the next Leeds because of the debt of 96 million pounds. Maybe they would've surived and stayed in top flight but I don't think they could've kept all their players at the time, leading me to believe that it would be extremely difficult for them to stay in the Premier League.
If Sanchez went to man city, Sterling's career will be different he'll be at arsenal and they might have not signed aubameyang who would have probably gone to Real Madrid
@@04foreverinvincible69 stfu atleast we got a ucl trophy to talk about, what European success can you gloat about? 2 second place medals? Pfft banter club.
In all seriousness, i'm guessing Sheikh Mansour would've bought Chelsea in around 2007 if Abramovich had gone for Spurs. Big (ish) club in West London, great area, big potential, it'd probably be a more attractive prospect for him than Man City ironically. City would then become a yoyo club, probably mostly a stable mid-table PL team.
8:01 that never would've happened as much as I wanted it too, Torres would've never played for Real no matter the scenario due to his links with Atletico Madrid
Next one of these should be what if brazil beat Germany in the 2014 world cup, international tournaments often are the making and breaking of players or if messi played for spain
You are extremely so right that Tottenham Hotspur and the other real big, mediocre(except Chelsea and Manchester City) and small teams would have won more titles respectively and not on the reverse if billionaire Roman Abramovich sir would have bought them!!!:-D
Before lockdown I saw Paul mcshane,Marc albrighton and hitc sport play golf together hitc sport is very good friends with them that why he played golf with them every Saturday
8:00 nonsense,he's a boyhood Atleti fan,I remember him saying that there were 24 kids in his class,23 of them Real Madrid supporters and he was the only colchonero
So, if Roman Abramovich hadn't bought Chelsea, Rafa would've have joined Newcastle in 2005 and then not return in 2016. Far fetched statement from old Michael!!!
If all that happened you think Alonso would've been in Newcastle??? No he just wouldn't come to England and go to like Barcelona to complete the Spain midfield 4
