Since I'm colour blind, your comments about the field in Boise were quite helpful. I had a friend that used to come around to my house since we had bought a colour TV in the late 1960s. He would just go to the knobs and set the colours right.
I wonder with the football clubs with trains that go through their ground have players turn up late and say they were late because the train wasn't on time.
Albertsons Stadium is pretty cool ngl, when i first saw this I thought I was hallucinating but nope it's just...blue. I have a suggestion, maybe you should top 10 oldest stadiums or stadiums that is sponsored by banks, grocery stores or cars
For what it's worth, there are actually a few other collegiate American Football stadia with "different" colored surfaces, such as those used by Eastern Michigan University' (gray), Eastern Washington University (red), Coastal Carolina University (teal) and Central Arkansas University (alternating purple and gray stripes), as well as a number of high school fields around the country that also feature odd-colored turf.
@@TheWideWorldofStadiums The other story about the blue turf is that (allegedly) the blue turf had to be covered up aside from during games because ducks and geese migrating over the Boise area would mistake the blue field for a lake and attempt to land, only to meet a messy end as they plowed into the turf - or even worse, the stadium's old AstroTurf surface, which was basically carpet over concrete. Which turned out to be nothing more than an urban legend, as birds have far better eyesight than us humans.
I've been to the one in Pittsburgh when driving by it for a wedding dinner, and I honestly thought it was just a practice field or some high school football field lol research proved otherwise!
Roos Field in Cheney, WA has a red field and a Michigan university has a gray field for their stadium. You should check those out cause they're pretty cool too
I really like this kind of content of unique fotball stadiums. I know i'm a little late here but there is one fotball stadium in Norway called "Henningsvær stadium" that i think should be in part 3 if you will do one. Have a great day!
How about Olympic Stadium in Hoquiam, Washington? It may be the only stadium with that name that isn't named for the Olympic Games. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympic_Stadium_(Hoquiam)
Oh man, Olympic Stadium in Montreal. It cost way too much. After the Olympics, the MLB's Montreal Expos moved in. They would play there until 2004, after which they departed for Washington, DC. The stadium doesn't get as much use as it used to, although CF Montreal of the MLS does play the odd game here and there at the Big O.
You have to put down the week before making these videos. You’re hallucinating about beavers and Smurfs. BTW, Highmark Stadium is here in Pittsburgh... I just wish there was a team that played there. Maybe we’ll get a football team. It is a nice place to see a concert. I saw Bob Dylan there a few years ago.
I thought you where going to say that 80s american war movie where the russians and Morocco invade small town in idaho with a star cast of teens fighting back for the fate of the USA. Tue story... Wolveriiines!!
