It breaks my heart to see videos like this as most species are nearly extinct now so by the time another 20-30yrs goes by I'll not be surprised if we've lost another few thousand animals, 💔😭 most Countries done even have laws for animal abuse so all types of animals just roaming & we see them more often now trying to eat & live just like us, Please help Any animal in anyway you can so our great grandkids can see them in life not in pictures like Dinosaurs, keep up the Amazing work your doing. Surely there's multiple islands that are the perfect habitat for this bird? Islands free from predators that would allow this bird to reach stable numbers. Even if it meant clearing habits of predators of this bird, surely that's a small price to pay 😕

It might be time to get 2-4 of these parrots in captivity. 2males 2females and breed them. Sometimes that’s the best way to keep a species alive.
