It’s frustrating that a lot of cristians and catholics deny or not acknowledge any of some these stories. “None of these exist, there’s only god” that type of mentality.
@Jerry Y. No, no one has an explanation where the universe came from, do you actually think some idiot just came to earth, called him self 'god' and started ruling the universe, like come on. The only reason 'god' exists as a term is because people long time ago couldnt explain where everything comes from, so they just set a couple of religions.

Interesting how Lucifer turned into a dragon and was slayed by a sword. It makes me wonder if fairytales with dragons and knights were inspired by that.
I'm not religious, but man the stories are beautiful, and teach certain values. Learning about things you don't agree with, or don't understand, will lead to better communication, and less ignorance. People can actually have conversations, and debates rather then screaming matches. Thank you for your videos man.
Can't even imagine the feeling that God felt seeing his heavenly creations acting the way they did. As time is short again, God looks at us with the same feeling of those who break his commandments and yet he allows us to live. Pure merciful Man. Thank you Jesus

fun fact: lucifer means day star, or light bringer in Latin, and Satan means adversary, so lucifer was once the light bringer, but after his banishment became the adversary.
@Wize One Don't do that. You are wrong and if YOU had read your bible or any of them, you would know that Jesus and Michael are two separate beings. So yeah, you are wrong and need to stop talking until you educate yourself on the theology.
Adam: can you pass me the salt please Lilith: no *lilith left heavens* Angels: please comme back to heaven and live happily Lilith: no *turn into a demon*

Ikr. As a Christian I never realized how cool the concepts are. (I'm 15 so im not heavily religious.) Nevermind everything in this comment. I'm now a 17 year old pagan. Dont ask, a lots changed.
In the first age, in the first battle When the shadows first lengthened, one stood He chose the path of perpetual torment In his ravenous hatred he found no peace And with boiling blood he scoured the Umbral Plains Seeking vengeance against the dark lords who had wronged him And those that tasted the bite of his sword named him The Doom Slayer
The parallels between the religions of the world is arguably the truth. The flood for instance does not just appear in the Bible. It appears across multiple civilizations histories. Norse and Egyptian mythology both include a great ocean from which the world began mimicking the Biblical account of God separating the earth from the water.
@@heathbaker1138 and Christianity and Judaism feel heavily influenced by Zoroastrianism too. Not to mention the whole idea of heroes being bound to fate in Greek mythology. Also the way that Herodotus and historians of antiquity claiming Hercules having existed in real life reminds me of the way they wrote about Jesus having existed.
Yep, the church took a lot of the old pagan gods and practices and mixed into their religion so it would be more palatable for others conform into Christianity.
The word "mammon" simply means "wealth or riches". When Jesus said you can't serve God and mammon, he was talking about striving for material things that you can't take with you when you die, versus serving God, who gives you more than you can imagine when you die. Mammon was neither a demon nor a man.

Wait if Lilith didn’t want the life of being a subservient wife and serving Adam why would she be jealous of eve and their life? That doesn’t make much sense, does it? Edit: I made this comment awhile ago and forgot about it, I didn’t realize how much controversy this would make. I’m not criticizing Lilith or trying to be a sjw or whatever I just got legit confused by the logic of it. Please stop replying assuming things about me or my views
I-really-shouldn’t -but-I-will And Im sure she still loved Adam and to see him happily with someone else probably upset her. But I read a comment somewhere else saying that they left out a few details saying that god actually killed Lilith’s children for disobeying him when he offered to send down angles to protect her/tell her turn back to the garden of eden with Adam.
And the beauty of the battle between Lucifer and Michael, was that Michael was a much less "mighty" and "powerful" being than Lucifer. Lucifer was the second after God. It was supposedly an unbalanced fight between both of them. It's reflected somewhere in the Bible: -"So the last will be first, and the first will be last". Michael was the essence of humility, devotion, loyalty, honesty, perfection, the goodwill without any shred of envy, etc..; versus pride, arrogance, hunger of power, greed.
I love the saying, "There are three sides to every story: person A, person B, and what really happened." I've always wondered what it'd be like to learn Lucifer's side of the story of his fall.
@Uviy Moou I guess God wants us to gain the celestial strength through our hardships and know the worth of ourselves. Because Lucifer was handed down the ultimate power on a silver platter, he never understood the value.
I feel like as if Lucifer is more like Prometheus than Satan (which means adversary). But it's easier for 'God' to use him as a scapegoat for the evil that happens even though that same evil must be in God also because he created Lucifer. 🤷🏽♀️😬
When I was a child in Sunday School, they explained the Fall of Lucifer as basically "God called a council for ideas for His plan, and looking for a volunteer who would execute it. Lucifer's idea was for him [Lucifer] to make us follow God so that everyone would be able to go back to heaven. Jesus offered up the plan most of us know today: give the humans the choice, and then Jesus would come and guide us back home. God chose Jesus's plan (giving us the free agency we have today), which vastly upset Lucifer, causing him to rebel." And even as a young child, I ended up understanding Lucifer's motives a little more than I probably should have (because face it, nobody likes to be overlooked or feel like they're being ignored), even going so far as to-later on while my family was driving home from dinner-ask God if I could talk to Lucifer for a minute were I literally was like "There-there, I know how you feel," to the Devil himself. (I don't even think I was past second grade by that point) So yeah, if I die and end up meeting him [Satan/Lucifer] and he actually heard little-baby me and goes "Aren't you that one girl-" it will SO awkward!!!🤣😅
@@cabz4163 no, more like because she rebelled against the notion of man being the one she has to be subservient of. And because of that, it spouted ideas that women are inherently evil or more capable of it.
You know if they could make a movie fiction of it today would be great.. Unfortunatly everyone is far too sensative and the fiction would hurt peopels feelings. Those angry christian types have a surprising amount of pull in politics and rules today.

As a Christian, I think Atheists can find some meaning behind the stories written in the Bible and through the study of Demonology and Judaism. Even if they don't believe in the lord; the lord believes in them. You don't have to be perfect, for that is impossible. However, be humble and reflect on your wrong doings; as all humans will sin for it is in our nature.
I always appreciate good religious people. It´s inspiring to not to fall for ignorance and contempt. God could exist, hypothetically. If it is your truth, live by it, and be a light for the others. There is little enough good in this world of ours, or more optimistic: I believe that people can be good as well. It is astonishing when you take a closer look and ask the right questions. the demons and angels are interesting, because it can compare us to the divine, like a missing link to understand the impossible thing that is God. I think one thing many people who claim to not believe find problematic, is to be a subject to something. That idea of relying on others without any backing is against the spiritual freedom we wish for. We want to be perfect and in a small sense godlike ourselves in order to improve(as always, in a positive or negative sense; but i think it is more + than -).
Why do a lot of religious folk believe you can't be a good person unless your religious??? I think you will find atheists don't go around killing & maiming people in the name atheism. Unlike the religious folk.
@@Thesigilhex Wait, you mean not to trust the angels either? You just meant not to trust the demons, right? You kinda worded your sentence weirdly, which is why i ask.
It’s profoundly Non-Christian. Lilith and/or the Serpent Seed Doctrine- is JEWiSH. From the Talmud. Remember: SiNCE Jesus came to us, from now on, Orthodox Jews will be TOLD John-chapters 3-5. (ON JUDGMENT DAY) Choosing to be Jewish in Religion/Spirituality over CHRiSTiAN?? Christ actually said, “They’re ALREADY dead and condemned”
Lilith is an old Jewish myth. You won’t find her in the Bible. The word some try to translate is literally “night-animal” or owl. It can also mean unclean There’s no instance where the word means a proper name or an Angel or demon. And, it didn’t appear in any known text until 3,000 + years after the Old Testament was written. There’s only 2 angels with proper names in the Bible. Gabriel and Michael. And there’s 2 demons or fallen angels. Lucifer/Satan and Apollyon/Abaddon. The latter leads an army at the end. And Lilith the feminist demon wasn’t omitted or erased from Scripture during the Council of Nicea in 325 AD when all the books that were being used as Scripture by the early church were finally officially recognized as canon. These same books had been being used and passed around and copied for almost 3 centuries by the early church. All the council did was make the canon official. The early church decided what was canon, not the council. The council just made it official. And it would be beyond impossible to erase Lilith as the first woman/wife of Adam in 100’s of 1000’s of manuscripts and torahs and scrolls in both synagogues and churches. Genesis had been written, taught, memorized, copied, ect for a few thousand years by then. We have thousands of copies early manuscripts to easily disprove the feminist myth of the first woman/demon Lilith.
In every painting or sculpture of Lucifer I’ve ever seen he’s so beautiful and I was always so confused by it until I realized that beauty entices humans
@@conorbrodie yeah I believe it came from a misunderstanding from the Greek translation of the Bible where "morning star" was translated to Lucifer (Venus). One thing led to another where people thought Lucifer was a name rather than a reference to Venus. I believe the morning star was mentioned when comparing a prideful king to the star that always has to appear first at night and shine brighter than the rest. Watched a really informative video on it a while ago, so if I got any of that information wrong I can come back and link the video since I probably just misremembered.
@@XxrayXtheMaster yes you’re right. Lucifer means morning star in Latin. And I think it was mistranslated to be a proper noun, but it was referring to a prideful Babylonian king I believe

I don’t think Satan finds that beautiful. He probably thinks it’s totally degenerate. But that’s precisely the point. He either wants to degenerate mankind to spite God, or bring mankind to his servitude. It seems he had many methods, and prone to mood swings.
