I see a lot of y’all saying Nike is the worst god. I’m a diamond Nike and I 100% agree she needs at least one of her abilities reworked but she’s definitely not the worst. Her passive is just so incredibly powerful your actually giving every member of your team including yourself a free item. All you do is play passive sit at your tower line and wait, waste you lane opponents time and eventually your team will have such a massive advantage that the enemy team can longer fight you. Sure she doesn’t do much damage but that’s not her role. She is a passive bot/ meat shield and you will win most of her games if you just remember that

that's almost exactly how i imagined a bastet buff should be. give her a second pounce basicaly similar to nemesis dush but does no damage where she can actualy do something about an escape or chase because right now once you go in if the players know what to do they will hit you with a hard cc and someone will be waiting at the spot you pounce back to to shut you down. her 2 is slow and i can't tell you how many times it got interupted by a stun or knock up basicaly forcing me to just pounce back or out instead of going for it again for survival reasons. speed it up x2 and give it some other functionality as well instead of just damage, she only has 1 slow in her kit with no other cc. her 3 is okay in my opinion, i would still want a bit more damage to it and probably a stun if you hit them with it and pounce on them or something like that but it's still okay as it is as long as she gets something else in her kit. as for her cats.. they are a complete joke. the last use they had was gone when the minion tower backdoor protection removal got taken out. the cats are only viable early and even then they are really easy to be taken out. late game they are simply done for in under half a second and the only use they have is to basicaly try to slow someone down for a few seconds or block a couple of autos and that's only if the enemy abilities are down so to not clear the cats instantly. i have no clue as to how they could get fixed, the ability simply can't work mid/late game.

Isis main here! She's one of my favourite Gods by far. Her kit just has so much potential for me and I love how useful her ult is.

Oh i have an interesting rework for bastets leap. She gets 2 leaps similar to nemes's 2 dashes. The caveat is that only on of the leaps does damage in the same radius it has now. You can select if youd like the initial leap to do the damage if the enemy or camp is close enough by pressing 1 then left click the next 1 then left click will have a window in which you can use it again before going on cooldown but the subsequent leap will not do damage. The other option is you can click 1 twice then left click (so 1->1-> left click) to save the damage radius for your second leap. This would be optimal in the case of an enemy being farther away or baiting the enemy to use up their escape option to avoid the damage but you saved it for the chase. This rework would buff her mobility and her escape would be less telegraphed. Maybe the distance of the leaps could be limited by the devs t balance. Something that i decided to leave out of the initial idea because i feel it might be too out of balance is if her non damaging leap had a sort of cc like a stun or a root applied to it similar to kali's. It would be very hard to make this instacast which is one problem i have with my idea as well.

I have some ideas to make Nike better. -Change the passive -Make the two part of the ultimate -Make the two into another wave clear attack like a cone or spin attack,so she can still clear after she gets CC'ed -Maybe add some buffs from her current passive to her ultimate(add a damage and protection buff to allies that stand in her ultimate aura) -Increase the duration of the ultimate or increase the shield and make the ultimate end when she loses all of her shield -Maybe add a crowd control to her 2 since she has no other hard CC other than her escape

In a teamfight, Bakasura is the absolute worst god you could have on your team. He has no hard CC outside of his ult (which is unreliable at locking people down), and his heal is so situational that the buffs you get, or heal you need, will never be there when you need them. He is built to get ahead, a character made for outrotation. Even so, the second it isn't a 1v1 he becomes pure garbage. Being able to gank mid or solo x2 doesn't help how absolutely terrible the kit is. I feel like the thing they should do is get rid of his kit entirely. It's completely outdated and needs to be removed. A new kit that uses true damage, pets, and a bite in there somewhere would be fine, but his current state is trash outside of duel.

Bastet just needs a rework. Simply assassins with no hard cc are never good, the only one that ever was good was Nemesis but that was because her ult has utility and she had strong burst, way stronger than bastets, and didnt even have to use her mobility for it, let alone her extra shield. They need to change something with her leap, either making it less predictable or making it not necessary for her burst damage. They need to zone in on one of her abilities and make that her clearing one, lowering the cd a bit, whether that be the 2 or the 3. Either one of which also needs to have their animations decreased, especially the 2. Either the 2 or the 3, whichever one that wasnt made the primary clear, needs to have some more cc added to it, like say her 3 now has a root. And then they need to do something with her ult... either make a whole new one or give it something that makes it benefitial in the late game. They also could change her passive in some way, maybe for a hard cc rather than in one of the abilities. Like say her 2 makes the target marked in some way, and when said target is struck from any damage from bastet they are stunned or something. She just needs something that makes her have more potential in team fights, mostly through some sort of cc and an ult that isnt only effective on objectives or duels.

@DukeSloth do you think that the change to Bastet's leap would work? What I have in mind is having her normal first leap as it works now, but also having the ability to jump the second time with 50% reduced damage. So in other words you'd give her more chase potential, slightly more damage, and more unpredictability.

I find it funny that all these gods are fairly common and do well in duel, which is what I play. So this goes against my experience XD

For me Loki is the worst god, maybe not in the matter of performance (even tho he IS bad), but I know he performs even better than Bastet in jungle, but my point is something you mentioned on a recent video about him, he's easy enough to one-shot a squishy (which makes no sense to be able to do that with just 2 abilities and 2 Hydra's procs) and that helps to make him maybe the most hated god, but also he totally lacks teamfight potential, and thus he's not only hated by enemies but also by his teammates. So this guy has no place, maybe not even in the game, everything he does is being a pain for everyone

Isis is the best God in the game she has knock up immunity.

I play the other modes, i despise conquest, but i can safely say that if you love bastet and want to play her, she is a very safe and useful pick in arena. Precasting her jump before a teamfight and then running in, dropping your kit then jumping back to your backline is a very safe and effective strategy. Sure other assassins have more pentakill potential if you play assassins for snowball like kali or thanatos, but she is very consistent and hard to shutdown. If you can bait and dodge cripples, you're effectively unkillable. My last ten bastet matches all end with 10+ kills, 30-40k damage dealt, and 1-2 deaths max, often going deathless. I definitely see why she would be weak in a conquest setting though, no argument there.

The fact that cabrakan is there surprises me. Maybe in competitive he might not be that good, but in casual you can become loki as him. Please try it, it's really fun to play as well

Personally, I think Camazotz should be on that list. The only CC he has is his 2 which is a slow. Has little no to mobility, his leap might be the shortest in the game alongside Discordia (correct me if I'm wrong). Does very little damage after all the nerfs he got earlier this season. We're left with a God with moderate sustain (not insane, he's got his healing nerfed too!), little to no CC, moderate-ish damage and no mobility.

Bastet is a beast in Assault, though. :V

I can see this in conquest, but Anubis and Isis are great in casuals, they are such pub stomp gods, buffing them would be like buffing Loki, it would be chaos.

Poor Bastet. I like her a lot but man is she bad. Like you said she has so many faults... I don't know what to do to fix her without a redesign, which I wouldn't like at all. I think speeding up her animations, and maybe adding something to her ult or jump could work well. Like enemies hit by her jump are crippled shortly, or her cats gain increased damage to structures, so she can split push again(not as well as the backdoor protections are still there but maybe make it less of an issue with the cats. As for arachne, yeah, finding her best playstyle with this change is going to show where she actually is. making her a glass cannon like weak3n will change nothing with this buff as you'll still use it mostly for escapes. Building her bruiser seems best but she could still get blown up. Maybe we'll find some cool items for her. I would like 1 more thing added to the ult for mostly flavor reasons but it would be a buff: have her spawn spiders on any god hit in the radius. Not sure how crazy the buff would be but I would like it for flavor and fun reasons

Bastet sucks in conquest, ill give you that but her early game is insane in joust/duels. Id say that nike is probably the worst god from an overall performance perspective, duel is worthless, joust she can't even get her passive maxed until 35 min and her teamfight is just a 5 second slow with low damage. Her solo is not half bad but lacks in comparison to someone like bellona which has great clear and a great teamfight ultimate. I think she needs a buff to her passive or just a new passive in general and maybe a rework to her 2 which only changes her abilities slighty and gives her a pathetic boost in HP5.

I really enjoy playing Isis, she's so fun and feels rewarding to play when you get kills, objectives, etc. And I agree with you 100%. I hope Titan finds a way to make her and a bunch of other gods better this coming season because it's annoying seeing the same gods being played over and over again. Enjoyed the video!

The thing is some people think that worst god = under powered, but it is not because if you buff those gods there is others that gonna take their place. i honestly wouldn't had though of Bastet ever sense i play her and still get the job don and carry my team nd get top damage (yes she is not the best but doesn't mean she cant get the job don)

I do very very good with bastet. Idk why everyone saying shes bad.. Her clear is great her 2 and 3 hit like a truck. Ive had no issues with her as of lately and in season six she feels very strong. Compared to alot of assassins like loki who have been massively nerfed. Her kit guarantees kills if you know how to body block your target with your cats..

Simple buff for Bastet, give her the exact same treatment that Kumbha got. If her abilities suck, then just drastically lower their cooldowns so she can spam them all the time, just like Kumbha. Crappy ult isn't that crappy anymore if it comes back online once every 25-30 seconds. Very low cooldowns also combo with her passive.

Dont get me wrong duke i love your videos i watch since 2016, but i people saying there's bad and good god even i do. But it feels like people are never happy about what they have look a Baka he was really bad and not in the META for 2 years maybe now they buff him and now people complains that he'a broken and this happen with a lot of gods. Ik that this list is about conquest but I believe that Xing is amazing in Joust now. I’ve been doing amazing with him using a build I stole from solodoublej called the No Escape Build

For bastet: -double pounce if you hit an enemy -in built antiheal for the 3 -you spawn 5 cats instead of 3 and in a circle radius at medium range, they dont slow anymore, just in the radius I wanna see your thoughts!

Bastet is pretty good on console, i know your not talking about console but i'm just tossing in my two cents. Bastet seems to be better on consoles then pc, i play her almost religiously as an assassin carry or jungle and she does pretty well as a carry. Maybe she's just another case of a god in the wrong class.

Jing Wei is the most garbage god in smite by far... 0 damage, 0 wave clear, only really useful against knock ups. She can get to lane quick and escape, that is it

Bastet is a hit and run assassin and that what she excels at so to bring her back into the meta change her 1 so it's like xing tians "leap" but to balance it make it so she can only jump back in the opposite direction but it doesn't have to be the same spot. The hit box would be a the location where she will jump and there would be a ah puch ult like hit box behind you where you can jump back to safety. As for her ult take elements from skadi's dog so they tackle bit/grab pulling them back to bastet the enemy god for 1-2 secs. The damage would only be the grab at a much lower scaling but the enemy god would take increased damage from bastet. Do that and she'll be a (at the very least) A+ god who can dive in set up a kill and dive out hit and run assassin.

The Morrigan, apparently, is great early game due to low cooldown AND high damaging 2nd skill... but late game... well... almost everyone now has great equipment, and in addition to more powerful skills, she becomes a squishy non-threat. If played wrongly, actually.

Just because a character isn't valued doesn't make them bad. Ullr is very highly valued and does worse than all but Isis on this list. Really picking Ullr is more of a throw than any of your other picks you mentioned. Just all those other picks aren't considered meta so people aren't driving their winrates down by picking them into everything. The thing about ranked is a lot of it is just this is supposedly strong pick it whenever you can. Which is why you get a lot of picks that are valued way more heavily than they should be. Example Hera is currently the 2nd most pick/banned with a 49.11% winrate certainly not a horrible pick but not something that should really be that highly valued

Bastet is easily fixed. 1: Instead of returning to where you leaped from give her a second leap if she hits an enemy god with 0 Base dmg and 100% Scaling 2: Give the changes 2weeks and if she doesn't improve enough speed up bleed tick dmg to 1.5sec total 3: Leave it as is 4: Change power on cats death, to ability cooldown 1,1,2,2,3 seconds per cat.

Idea: Give the 2 a scaling cooldown from 14/13 seconds down to as low as 9/8, and give the 3 anti-heal. This would give her at least some options at different points in the game, you could even have the cats refresh the effect of the 2 even thought that might be much

To be honest the bastet's problem is a problem that is shared with a lot of the older gods that survived the initial fallout of some the niché older gods a few seasons ago and they received buffs to help them keep up. Remember when art's boar insta-died late game and didn't have those extra seconds of immunity and the 2 didn't have movement speed. It was a long time coming that the survivor's of that period would falloff eventually given the fears of power creep back then. It's a problem shared by hade's 3, Hun batz's 2, bastet's 2 & 3, Isis 1 & 3, and to a lesser extend Agni's 2 (though the stun combo could justify this delay to be honest) and that is the pre-cast animation being too long for the ability's overall value, smite's time to kill has speed up over the years and the game has moved away from a meta of telegraphed attacks, and from a design perspective with such shift there should be a revised maximum pre-cast time for smite basic abilities; since am sure to a newer player these long pre-cast delays just look awkward and plays out awkwardly for what they do.

Finally you release that game w/ mythymoo. I knew it's for a vid when you said you had to play bastet.

Honestly I agree with the Anubis part. He’s honestly super good in Joust and situational in Arena/Assault but competitively he’s pretty fuckin’ easy to interrupt in most if not all cases. For the years I’ve played him I’m only just now getting smart with him in the sense of “I need to farm and get to a safe position in team fights without getting my neck snapped immediately.” and ALWAYS have an escape route if possible. You HEAVILY rely on your team for protection unless you’ve somehow reached “FuckYourShit.jpg” amounts of damage.

I think Bastest's early clear is what holds her back the most. You want to build Transcendence but you take forever to get enough gold to afford it. I'm talking ten minutes where you really don't do anything at the start, and then obviously you don't do much in the late either. Her strong mid game isn't enough to justify any of this over any other jungler.

Bastet is my favorite assassin. I suggest updating her passive to not remove the wound but have every ability hit refresh the wound duration. Also, let her passive apply to her basic attack damage as well. Speed up the ticks of razor whip (or make it 3 ticks of more damage instead of 4) and/or let declaw cripple.

Totally agree about Cabraken. I've actually been doing very well w/Bastet/Isis, but my worst god is one you didn't mention: Hun Batz. He has no strong CC outside of his ult, next to no damage (his passive doesn't really do much), his abilities are slow and predictable, and his teleport is unreliable, to say the least. I can't find any place where he excels. There's no real reason to pick him outside of his ult, and others are better in that regard (e.g Da Ji).

Never again will I refer to Sisi as the goddess of magic, but instead the goddess of demonetization. That subtle humor you have is what makes you great Duke.

I feel like The goddess of demonetization is usually used wrong. I have her diamond and if built correctly, she has frequent and useful cc, her ultimate can be one of the best team fighting ults in the game, it is absolutely one of the best objective secures in the game, and her mobility can help her peel if you use gem of iso, all of which makes for a solid mage. You just can’t play back with her, you need maximum aggression out the gate and use your 1 to escape getting punished for it. I feel like there are a lot of way worse gods than her. But her model does make her look like the goddess of spina bifida

with bastet they should make it when you hit them with your 2 then your 3 they get a 2-second stun or something or just rework her with a new ult or make it where the cats can be thrown out a lot further and add the Argo mechanic where you can pick the targets

The problem I have with Baster is that her abilities just feel like there is a long windup on them outside of the 3. One thing which I wonder if it could be done is that putting the pounce cooldown on when you first land seeing as it is adding 4s to its cooldown. It just feels like Baster is a lost cause since she doesn't do anything better than anyone else. Sure getting heartseeker and 1 3 2 someone will kill them but that's true for most gods and the kill time is alot lower. The 4s pounce timer doesn't feel long enough when your abilities take 4s to wind up ;_;

I think they should give bastet 0.5s of cripple immune after her leap so she has safer poke and make the 2 tick faster but deal the same damage (it take 4s) and speed the animation up a bit so it doesn't get interrupted all the time. Also if ur gonna give a buff when the cats die, give a speed buff so that if they die, she can either get closer to attack or run away better

I just build bastet bruiser. The ult is nice early/midish game. Late game is where the ult problem lies. 700 hp with 60 protections is laughably bad since the cats are 1-2 shot depending on who you're going against. In teamfights they last maybe.....1 second? the leap is ok considering it deals massive damage for a leap that can basically be recalled. Maybe she just needs a better passive too. An extra 20% damage is nice but....you can't really do much with that item wise other then runeforged hammer. Giving the cats more survivability would be the ideal choice but that might make them too strong then. Another idea could be being able to control the cats so that they don't all group up and take massive damage from one source. Make them spread out. another idea is to remove the power gained when they die and instead....reduce the ult Cd by alot. Because honestly...there has not been many times where the power gained from the cats was noticed...let alone used. either the I get the kill and move on or I'm too low to continue and need to back anyway. If damage wasn't so high in this game maybe the cats would be much better.

Thanks, Vodaphone. Frankly, the only thing worse than an Aphro is one that rushes cooldown without any power at all. As for Cupid, he may as well be the god of having his kills stolen. Even if his 1 or ult is going to kill someone one of his "teammates" will still come in and steal it for him or herself.

As someone who really likes Bastet, I totally agree she needs some serious buffing. Her kit (especially the ult) just feels so underwhelming in comparison to other assassins to the point where it feels like Hi-Rez/TitanForge have just straight up forgotten about her. Also I really like your idea about giving her leap a sort of second jump instead of the incredibly linear return-to-sender mechanic it is now.

I think Isis should revive all teammates that die in her ult when it ignites. The level should determine how much health. Maybe have those revived with a second or two disable applied so it isn’t a complete OP ult. The damage and health that it does now should stay the same. This would make her ult more usable as it has no purpose in healing- anyone needing it will most likely die before ignition or even boosting it. I only use it to combo for a quick finisher as an enemy gets away... which isn’t useful in most cases. I think the rest of her kit is fine, but maybe add HP to her passive. I think Serqet still belongs in the “worst gods” section. She’s one of my favorites, but she’s THE EASIEST god to shut down with basic gameplay- her Ambush isn’t airborn (anything on the ground, damage or ability, will still affect her), her Cobra kiss has short range and doesn’t apply two catalysts if both land, Last Breath can miss/vulnerable to damage during animation/weak damage/short duration. Bastet is mediocre, but she can accomplish more and much quicker than Serqet. I’ve played many matches with snowballing my Bastet (and many bad matches), but Serqet will almost never be in top marks (unless used with damage mitigation). Bastet is boring and can be shutdown just as easily, sure, but she can dish more out than Serqet. I realize that Serqet has a chance for doing serious damage to a single target and can offer better support, but overall, Serqet is always high risk and usually falls behind because of it. She just needs a couple of tweaks that won’t make her OP, but more usable. I still love her, but she requires too much compromise to be an assassin. As for Bastet, they should change her cats to either apply the buff for how many are alive, able to use life steal, or make her wounds apply protection/heal debuff like wounds would really do...

My list; Osiris (underwelming) , agni (pls buff my boy), vamana(rework him, he needs it), kuzenbo(buff his ult), and Terra ( very strong support, but her kit is solely support and assist based that she is semi useless by her self)

All these gods have one problem, the old god problem. This game has really started to suffer from bloat. Even though I've loved basically all the recent gods they are just designed with certain roles in mind that more classic gods weren't, because those roles were either not there or very different. My vote goes to Hades, one of my favorites in the game. He's almost melee, a diver, who relies on heals, yet he's not fat and he is *so. damn. slow*. Particularly in abilities. There is an issue where some gods are just made irrelevant by interrupts, and Hades has that issue in spades while not even having the benefits of channeled abilities which other gods have.

One thing that keeps confusing me with Bastet is that her return jump doesn't do damage. It's not all she needs, your explanation of the 2 actually makes so much sense idk how I hadn't noticed the delay before, but it would just make so much more sense to me if you could double-jump people o.o

This actually made me feel a lot better for being killed as Isis against gods like Pele and Baron. I used to play Isis in Season 3 and recently thought about getting back into playing her, but I quickly found out that it is a pain in the a$$ to play her. Thanks for making me feel like it's not just me.

I’m kinda surprised thoth was worst? If you can land his shots, he seems to do pretty well. There has been so many times an assassin thought I’d be easy pickings.. boost away, wall, lock, snipe, Ult. Easy kill. I can see some points, as long as he’s with someone, he can be pretty good and the Ult is just amazing when it connects.. so much damage and really shuts down anyone that runs away.. but I don’t do ranks.. just a lotta joust with with Thoth since Arena seems bad for him Edit: Plus if anything, his laugh is op, change my mind

As an aspiring Bastet player, I fully agree with your points as they line up with my research. She needs buffs that improve her usefulness and longevity in combat without changing her completely.

Bastet was considered a hunter and protector in mythology. I’ve always wanted her to be a guardian instead but I know that won’t happen.

I think a good buff for bastet would be making her 2 faster and making it do all the damage at once while reducing a bit its damge and cd, adding a fourth cat or fifth cat in upper levels and making the cats give a debuff like reducing healing for 30 % and making the targets receive 10% damage increase, this debuff stacking up to 2 times, the debuff being applied with the cats aa, this would make her a strong but no overwhelming god in my eyes at least. PD Numbers should be revised though.

It's a good day when you don't see Ratataskor as one of the worst gods. Things seem to have changed a lot since I stopped playing 2 years ago.
