If you loved obscure you'll love the faculty It's basically the movie this game is based on. Definitely a top tier c-grade horror movie from like, 2002.

PC port might suck ass, but i remember playing this on an old ps2 with my dad i don't remember it having all of these performance issues but it was fun with the perma death thing made the game much more intense, it was "unique" basically

The comparison between this game vibe and that stewpeed chud Spongebob video on youtube is hilarious while lowkey showcase your nostalgia for the repressed vitality atmosphere of early to late 2000s music videos, it was a weird mix between gangster and nu-metal kind of ghetto aesthetic in a lot of places, it's overdone on the outside crust while also undercooked on the inside with it's approach of aesthetic and melody to colour editing arangement, yet you can't help but keep starring while drop laid back on a sofa while listening to such "vibe" khrinj to dazzled with it, it's also remarked the early youtube era prior to google making it more corporate and huge while subsequently turning it into "safe" and "sterile" platform (on the surface at least lol) Also speaking of le spooki horror XDXDXD games, you should check Fear and Hunger 1 & 2, pretty good horror games in terms of macabre, debauchery and tension-ridden body horror subtype of horror genre in video game, being some of few rare examples of horror done right in video game medium too

Playing the first one on the PS2 back in the day, I felt...ehh....it was just not my type of game. However, the sequel feels just right. Now I owned both games on Steam. I got stressed out with the first one, cuz of the framerate issue.

horror has ALWAYS been a comedy to me. regardless of what form it takes. movies, shows, videogames, ect. shits always just so stupid, detached, unrealistic, and dumb asf. like you said decision making for all people involved devolves to 2 year olds making more informed and smarter decisions.
