It’s always funny to me when smaller budgeted films have a high-action scene involving nice cars or motorcycles or whatever and instead of actually driving the vehicles full-speed, they just drive at 30 mph and do bunch of quick cuts and jostle the camera around to make it kinda blurry so you don’t realize that they’re not really going 100 mph.

I love that Ruby Rose walks around everywhere with a MASSIVE camera on her lapel and two FULLY EXPOSED pistols on her back and nobody questions it until she draws down on them...as if that s*it is normal. Damn this movie is terrible.

This movie is like someone watched Crank, John Wick, Blade, and Lucy, took a bunch of adderall , then tried to combine them into one screen play while blind folded and only remembering the worst parts of each. That’s what this movie is.

The reason that church looks so bad on the aerial establishing shot is because while half of it is natural the Church was rendered using CGI but it looked as though it had been rendered for daylight use. So what you’ve got is a model made for use on a daylight shot pasted into a scene filmed at night *AND* out of focus.

This whole movie's colour scheme is basically straight lifted from just about every post on r/battlestations.

I get the feeling all of Morgan's stuff was filmed in like, one day.

I honestly don't know what appeal Ruby Rose has to any producer out there because she's gotta be the most unimposing individual you could ever choose for the roles she's been given. Seriously, a twelve year-old kid would have a better onscreen presence. She's THAT unimpressive and it really makes you wonder just what it is they see in her.

And then dies because Morgan Freeman can't be bothered to return in case the want a sequel.

The riff at 6:22 is simply wickedly funny. We get the qualifier "not to sound insensitive", and then Mark describes in detail how to brutalize an elderly wheelchair bound guy. In any other circumstance that would be the epitome of inhumanity. But in this one case, you can get away with it :D

HOUSE ( wheel chair guy ) - 1) LIGHTSWITCHES on wall ; higher than the guy in wheel chair can reach - 2) CHAIRS everywhere ( why does a guy who NEVER gets out of a wheelchair - need 35 chairs in a house ( yes - I counted them ) ) - 3) Kitchen Countertops are HIGHER than waist high on the woman - 4) Dining room table has 12 chairs around it & NO empty spot for a wheelchair - 5) Spiral staircase in background - 6) NOT a single HANDICAP ramp ( anywhere in the movie ) - 7) Guy in wheelchair ( shot in spine & paralyzed from the neck down ) - 8) can use his hands & uncounsciously moves his legs & feet when talking

Maybe she is a very shy introvert and every flashback of recent events is her thinking back "I can't believe I said that, I feel so stupid..!" I can totally sympathize to that.

I appreciate the way Mark suffers for my filmmaking education. Unmotivated B-roll is a seductive trap for low budget indies like myself, and this showed how the result will not disguise a lack of content. Thanks so much.

My grandfather retired a cop. Did he have a huge modern house with expensive yet obnoxious lighting? No, a double wide trailer by the lake was his retirement home. Good memories there as a kid. Anyways, It’s laughable that a cop, even a detective, could afford that! If he’s doing something shady, nah, your cop buddies won’t be suspicious or nothing. 😅 The laced drink/coke scene is ridiculous….no wonder she has such vivid flashbacks 😂
