@@-THANHAN cuz he has the 4 bell attack in his base kit. Ain't hard to understand. But yeah the first star power is still better it's just that sneak peek is not THAT bad as before
I tried so hard to get use out of Sneak Peek after getting it out of a legendary starr drop not long ago (funny timing with his rework), but it just often isn't useful as the ideal scenario for it's utility is so rare. More often than not you charge your super with Chester at a distance, which at that point most of his supers are ineffective, so whether or not you knew which one you were going to get doesn't matter as after charging it you can take the time to prepare to use it. First star power basically just makes him more consistent at dealing damage which works out better all the time
Blud if the first suggestion for your star power for belle was true, it would pretty much be Otis’ super but better, and that is like the only reason he is unique and not trash
cordelius also can do that with his gadget.. as an otis main it pains me to say that cordelius has the better kit lmao. but I like being a map controller and otis has good main dps that lets you do that
Blockbuster is not even horrible whatsoever, the extra damage increase already adds onto Buster's main point of being a supporter, so this just gives more reason to huddle up around teammates as the extra damage you receive actually comes in handy often for bush maps and having to face brawlers that Buster cannot *normally* defeat with his normal damage People need to stop calling this one trash when Kevlar Vest honestly doesn't do much of anything besides protecting you from knockback
Yeah, it isn't too bad, just outshined by the second star power. It also might be problem as it encourages Buster to stick with his teammates, which outside of brawl ball can be difficult and a problem since he doesn't have his own lane to focus on, giving it up to an enemy. It's a good idea, it just might've been better if his super charge area was bigger so he could get a bit more use out of it
@@longpants108 I've always stuck to Blockbuster despite me getting Kevlar Vest first, the only time I willingly used Kevlar for ranked / power league was just so that I wouldn't get knocked back by Maisie
@@longpants108Personally, I run heal gadget + blockbuster sp, blockflare lets me sometimes 2 tap enemies instead of 3 tapping, and the gadget lets me keep my colt alive whenever hes getting hit on. Buster is more so a support than a tank, in a way you shouldn’t solo headcharge into combat, instead be a team player. Reason why I feel like kevlar vest doesnt work is because only attack that would stun you (if youre fighting enemy headon) would be close up (el primo’s gadget or bulldozer) or an aoe (barley, dyna etc), even then it wouldn’t matter much since youd have a fellow damage dealer to fend off any assasin trying to kill you
@@PROfessionaltrollers Well, then what is your idea of buster? going full solo? A: No way of handling/running from edgar or similiar brawlers due to lack of mobility/high dps B: Lack of range C: You can’t attack while montagne is active and you can almost never outrange any brawler
To the max, even though it’s way worse than his other starpower, is kind of underrated. Especially when Surge is in his final form, being able to hit the 3 split shot just by hitting a wall adds so much damage.
By the things that this guy said in the video abt this surge starpower, i can say that he never played with it. Saying that it is imposible to hit is like saying that he never playes with it. For me this ability is very good, and its not that hard to hit someone with it
I think Mandys 2nd star power is underrated even if the first one is much better. With a 30% shield her effective health goes from 5600 to 8000, but put on the shield gear and it goes from 6500 to close to 9286. having this much HP is actually solid against assassins, which is her main weakness with her other star power, and she can unload 7800 damage pretty fast or 8970 with the damage gear, which can catch people off guard. Against sharpshooters, while your main attacks are definitely going to be much harder to hit especially if the opponent is good at dodging, having, the value of being able to live one extra hit against them can't be understated. For example Piper 2 shots Mandy, which means if you get hit once you're basically dead because of homemade recipe, and Mandy 3 shots her in return so it is definitely a dangerous matchup, but using the shield star power lets her take 3 hits. It's never going to be the better star power because of how hard her shots are to hit without the projectile speed boost especially if the opponent is good at dodging, but I do think the value of the shield star power is unexplored because of this.
As a Mandy main, here’s my take: The star power can provide value, but the other one is just infinitely better. It allows you to hit your shots (and super!) a lot easier. Dodging shots at max distance without the star power is really easy, so being able to actually output damage while focused is much more important. Also, when you’re focused, you outrange basically all the brawlers and it’s very easy to simply dodge enemy attacks when they shoot or fall back when they get too close. So yes a 30% shield is nice, but it pales in comparison to in my sights
@@Limestone727 I'm a mandy main too btw, and yeah I agree rn the other one is definitely better. I just think the common criticisms of the shield star power being useless is pretty surface level, the star power isn't bad especially since they buffed it from 20% to 30%, its just that the other one is absolutely essential. To put it in another way, if In My Sights became baseline and she got to use both at the same time it would be a considerable buff, which isn't really the case for other star powers on here.
@@FlappyCat-ef6oq It's a good star power, it's just that her first star power is too much of a necessity to risk using her second star power. It should definitely be part of her regular attack like you said and be reworked into something else so the choice isn't so obvious. I tried playing Mandy on my alt (which only has her at power 1), and I was shocked for a moment at how slow her basic attack's projectiles move without her first star power as I'm so used to using it after playing with her regularly for so long since she's one of my favorite marksman. 20% is more than it looks lol
wisdom tooth should do 50% of the base shot's damage and split more akin to how surge's attacks split, that would make it somewhat of a better crowd control star power, which is something bonnie struggles with quite a bit. I genuinely can't live without black powder, but having this change would at least make wisdom tooth a sidegrade.
Where stage view Vision gear for janet with skill issue but your shots charge slower than your randoms reaction time hard candy kinda works on maps like bridge too far when theres an eggar or smth else
Max mastery chester, mandy and belle here: Chester's rework does help with sneak peek and now it is viable since he can close in knowing what his next super is as for belle, grounded is pretty useful against brawlers you can dodge easily/waste their ammo or assassin's like mortis and can potentially be better than positive feedback by providing the team some pressure Mandy's hard candy is just trash, not even worth it
As a Mandy main I will say the real reason Hard Candy is bad as even if you're far away in a "safe place" Assassins and tanks with mechanics to make one vulnerable exist. It gets rid of your ability to actually be able to hit attacks from your focused range as her projectile speed is just terrible for a sharpshooter as you NEED to play her from max range to utilize her ability. Even then it only causes Piper to 3 shot you from max range with shield gear practically GIVING HER A FREE SUPER! If I recall correctly but it also if a enemy pulls, knockbacks, or merely an Edgar jumps you it's be in your gut reaction to MOVE away from your previous location and use your slowing gadget to help you. At the end of the day the problem with Mandy is her ability to be focused as it forces you to be a still target! Only good thing about Hard Candy is you get the shield while supering when focused. So to summarize Hard Candy is bad because it doesn't help with anything like how In My Sights does. It requires you to stand still while an assassin attacks you or a tank pulls you which in both causes causes a NORMAL REACTION of running away instead of staying still to give your enemies even more super charge only to die in the end. If they buff her attack speed this wouldn't be a problem. :/ Sorry for the essay about a brawler I like to play with! ^^
They should change Hard Candy to buff Mandy's damage rather than give her token survavibility. She's a marksman, and her damage is, imo, a bit lacking compared to other brawlers. It's only exaggerated by her mid ass unique trait of gaining focus when standing still. Giving her a star power to boost her damage would give more reason to stand still and focus, and help her damage output.
Fun fact: you can like a comment by double tapping on it but did you know you can open the replys by 1 tapping on it and if you triple tap on it it will do both try it
I've had enough, I'm gonna say it... Wisdom Tooth ain't even all that bad. I received Wisdom Tooth, and since I didn't have the other one, I started using it (I ain't gonna waste 2000 coins). And it's actually pretty useful since it shatters when hitting a wall. This helps you peaking around walls in certain maps, chipping the enemy, and charging your super. So, STOP with the Wisdom Tooth diss.
I would definitely say Remote Recharge or Wisdom Tooth are the worst star powers, both or so situational. Remote Recharge gets outclased by Hearty Recovery more than any star power in the game so it's an easy choice, and Wisdom Tooth is just too ineffective at doing what it was meant to do. Sneak Peek is also situational, but not as situational as those two and isn't completely outclassed by the new first star power
Surge star power is useful in showdown since the other one is useless there and it is a good way to charge your super from enemies slowly, its more so like a bonus
