Morning, nothing was set up really, so work in progress. I’ve been playing as I go to get it set up, the right lever was about right here I think, so was going to go for the same on the left. As I’m sure you noticed, I’m no expert, so finding my way. The Wrekin scares me, and watching your hard tail run... well fair play! Hahaha

@@MikeTyler I did think that properly setting up the bike might be a stretch to far for the Halfords staff 🤷‍♂️ I'd take off the left brake lever then just move the dropper lever down a bit so the cable runs under the brake cable, quick fix and will look much cleaner. Really worth taking a little time to figure out the suspension as can transform the feel. I'm not quite an expert but can give you a hand with some basics if you need 👍 I'd also recommend downloading the trail forks and and check-in out the trails on the Ercall, some fun runs that aren't as steep as the Wrekin so a great place to build confidence 🤘

Thanks mate, appreciated. I’ll spend some time looking at the set up. A could of people have said to look at the Ercall, so best had! I like Limekiln wood too, I feel in control with the less extreme hills.

Looks good, I went out today with GPS on, but didn’t work, well video was fine, but the camera didn’t record any GPS data! Google to the rescue, reset GoPro and formatted card, and will try again probably Monday. :-)

You can't really make a bike bigger, frame size is the biggest factor. You might be able to change the feel a little with a different bar/stem but that will also effect the handling. You should be alright though, the 18 will be a playful bike

Morning both, I’ve got the 20” and I’m 6’2”, and it feels right. However, my hard tail was a 19” and I felt it was easier to handle. I’m no expert Kyle, but as long, but just enjoy it and don’t worry as long as you can ride it safely and it’s fun. How are you getting on with the bike?

@@MikeTyler im getting on great. i went on some aggressive terrain and usually my hardtail would rattle and feel like it was falling apart but the zobop had no sound only the tyres roaring and the quiet motor. the hardtail i had was the wazoo

Thanks mate, yes, I treated myself to a GoPro hero 8 black for the image stability. Hope to get some good family memories too :)

iMovie, still learning. Sometimes I chop the section out, but sometimes go high speed... I don’t know what’s best really

It’s perfect for me as I only get out for a couple of hours a lot a time, so even on boost, lasts no problem
