The XDefiant Playtest is a Disappointment 

Thanks for your comment! Yes, I believe we have to honest here, even if we like a game or at least hope that it will be able to reach it's full potential; this XDefiant playtest weekend hasn't been great.

Thanks for your comment! Yes, it is a disappointment. The game has already been delayed, and since the netcode and hit reg still aren't in place, I do wonder when they will be able to release XDefiant. Thanks for mentioning Blood Strike. I might check it out :)

Yeah, there's still quite a few things that they need to improve before releasing XDefiant.

I have to disagree on the ttk. It reminds me of BO3 ttk. It's in that ballpark. But the gun balance, I do agree. The bullet ghosting and constantly getting shot or killed behind the cover is annoying as hell. It's like the bullets are curving and hitting you.

Yes, quite some time ago to be honest. One reason is what you mention; still no end cards for wide screen videos. Kind of strange that RU-vid hasn't fixed that.

Thanks for your feedback! You are right when it comes to Ubisoft pulling the trigger fast on a project that doesn't meet their expectations when it comes to earnings. There's quite some question marks at the moment; will they be able to fix the performance? (servers, desync, hit reg..). If not, will they still release the game in it's current state? And if they do just that, how much patience will Ubisoft have if the game doesn't reach the "quota" or meet up their expectations? I guess the nearby future will tell, meanwhile I'll keep my eyes on this project :)

@40splishsplash At the end of the day, it's about the shareholders. If they ain't getting that money, and they gave Ubisoft the stank eye. xDefiant is heading to the guillotine. As much as people hate COD. It's making bank for the shareholders, and because of that, it will never change. Instead of xDefiant doing its own, they try to chase COD, which cause them to miss the biggest opportunity to release this game before MW3. It's too late for this game. The only way to save this game. They have to release it on epic and steam. Putting it exclusively on ubisoft connect has to be the most dumbest move I have ever seen.

Thanks for saying! I know Dirty Bomb and still play it now and then, did another DB video not to long ago. Dirty Bomb even though the glory days are over and no longer has any official support, is still one of my favourite shooters of all time :)
