Whoever edited this video is a damn genius. I got chills when the full song hit at 2:55, and I had never heard it before. The way the video flips to different pictures and there's a slight zoom, so simple but amazing!

Unfamiliar with most of their picks, but based on the samples, my god! I’m definitely going to have to check out a lot of these artists. That Nina Simone song sounds AMAZING! I adore her, but I’ve honestly never heard that one. Also, much respect for the Portishead love. No surprise that they dig them. Really, really great picks, loves! ✌🏼 Also, I had no idea that she was a lesbian.. I actually thought that these two dated, which is based completely on my imagination, and nothing else... I’m a fan of their albums, but really know nothing else about them beyond that.. That’s cool, though. ✌🏼🏳️‍🌈

Jamie has some deep musical knowledge. from his own beats to his DJ sets, always something going on. Kind of forgot about the XX though as I've listened to pretty much nothing but new wave black metal for the past 5 years (and catching up on classical tbh, I spent a lot of my life sleeping on classical music, I think as you get older you can appreciate it a lot more though. Not everything needs a wobble bassline, ha ha)

Let me preference this by saying I love the XX. But sometimes when they come on my mix while I’m being productive or at work I’m like “ugh, I’m not in the mood for you”. To slow and sad lol. They are definitely an embodiment of their music.
