Omg!!!!!!!! The Dr. speaking about her marriage was exactly the way my last relationship was n it’s the exact reason it ended. I felt like I was too much and he felt like he couldn’t please me. This is a huge revaluation!!! Like no one has spoken of their feelings and actions as a higher desire woman so clear and accurate ... my mind is blown right off of my shoulders 🤯

I would love it if/when my future significant other would genuinely initiate sex/intimacy. Men want to be desired too, at least I do. I've typically been the high desire/pursuer in every relationship I've had.

Great stuff! Glad to hear another perspective backed with research as well. I would love to hear an episode about maintaining attraction. I know the previous guest mentioned sexuality being owned by self, but I do believe there is alot to be said about maintain the spice by upkeeping your physical self, your looks, and grooming...basically trying to stay attractive for ur partner and vice versa in order to increase desire.

Great episode (as usual)! My husband and I both enjoy sex but I am by far the higher desired. Even if I'm not necessarily in the mood for foreplay and whatnot, I could literally have sex daily. I'm always aroused by my husband. He, on the other hand, can go for long periods of time without having sex (he's very disciplined). We have a satisfying sex life because we respect each other's feelings about the matter. It's ok and normal for a woman to be the freak lol!

She is a genius. This episode is needed for so many reasons. I wish more men (women) would have open dialogue with each other about these things. So many relationships would have a better chance of surviving. This, by far, was my favorite podcast of the love hour. But I'm a sexual and emotional pursuer, my opinion maybe scued a bit.

I’m not a sexual high desire woman but I appreciate this discussion as well as some of my favorite podcasts like Whoreible Decisions, Cocktales, and Angela Yee’s Lip Service, all of which celebrate women’s sexuality and encourage high desire women. These podcasts (available on RU-vid) actually help me to be more in tuned with my sexuality and increase sexual desire. If you can get past some of the (what some people would consider to be) “raunchiness” and not be judge mental of these women, they’re pretty informative.

Deff a higher desire woman , I spent the first half of my sexual life literally feeling like a whore to the point that I repressed all sexual desire. I never even expressed it until my most recent relationship , I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. Still the higher desire person , but my partner is understanding and finds ways to compromise.

I think that this is a great episode and have learned several things . I think that a lot of people have fears about doing some sexual things with their body because they are just made up in there mind . And then some people are just afraid to experiment with different things . I love to take a shower to get things started some times, and sometimes then it's just that way we both are clean and fresh, and sometimes it's just because I am tired and it just wakes me up and gives me energy . I loved her suggestion of having sex before that you go out on a date and I had never thought about this before . Thanks for having Dr Lori on, she is so great and I love to hear her talking and the things that she talks about . 🤗👍❤️💫

I ABSOLUTELY agree that men should taste themselves too. Kev was fine hearing about women but not when the dr. brought up men tasting their semen. It's part of the construct I think many men have in their minds about women playing with themselves or with other women when it's really the same thing. Sex is a two-way street. It is just as beneficial for me to learn about me, as it is for you to learn about you.
