THEM is a limited anthology series that explores terror in America. Shalom Bro! Shalom is Hebrew for “Peace”. I finished this season myself. This show is good and deep. If you rewatch the end of the show where Lucky is speaking to Eps in the basement. The guy is basically letting her know that she broke the covenant with the Lord. He knows that the black people are the true people of the Bible. That the people in the Bible were colored people.

It was a surprise that Clarke was gay. His convo with the police officer makes sense now. He was in a marginalized community so he wasn't really into persecuting another marginalized community. And why he took so much money out of his and Betty's account. And also why Betty was stringing George along.

Shalom bro! Shalom is Hebrew for “Peace”. I just finished the 1st season yesterday. This show is good and heavy. If you rewatch the ending where Lucky is having a conversation with Eps in the basement. He basically tells her that she made a covenant with the Lord. But, didn’t keep it.

He talks about how blacks suffered in slavery. Her response was “not in any book I’ve read”. That let’s you know that Eps was referring to the good book. Which is the Bible.This was before he made it clear though with the covenant. Deuteronomy chapter 28 is about the slave trades and colonialism. God mentions to us through Moses about the blessings and curses. We are the true people of the book. We disobeyed God’s Laws. He didn’t keep the covenant. All of the people in the Bible and King James were people of color. Their pictures were white washed.

I thought he was eluding to the curses in the bible.... Deuteronomy (he mentioned in episode 9) all black being curse because we broke the covenant with TMH. I think that's why they didn't want BP in their neighborhoods because the curses were on us.

@@elindsey1983 That could also be a possibility! I suggested that because it seems like he put an emphasis on what he said, because Lucky went to the Basement to settle everything. It made me think that even if she got rid of Epps, the family would still have deal with it because they lived in Compton and if they didn’t destroy themselves they would still be haunted for it.

@@elindsey1983 Yes, he’s most likely referring to Deuteronomy chapter 28. Deuteronomy 28 is about slavery and colonialism. God mentions the blessings and curses that would happen to our people. We would inherit the blessings if we obeyed God’s commandments and if not, experience the generational curses. Daniel 9:11 proves that we broke that oath (covenant). For anyone else that’s reading. The so called blacks, Latinos, Natives, and etcc. Are the true biblical Israelites according to the Bible. It’s a book that’s based in Jerusalem which is in Africa. All Praises.

@@MoedotJ The ending was kind of annoying because once the family got out of the house, the cops had their guns pointed at them. I wish it didn’t end that way because the audience doesn’t know what happens after that. Maybe they wanted us to make assumptions 🤷🏾‍♀️

Bwahahaha @ Bunker Betty and jogging like she's in a commercial lol 😆 Yo! Your reviews were just what i needed. I initially was not fond of the show due to how incensed i was by how triggering i found it to watch it. To be Black, in this country, in the 50s no less, is horrifying enough, why add haunting this Black family too? It was just too much for me. But when you reviewed and reminded me of the historical content woven into the storyline, that's what did it for me. While most historical content referenced i was aware, I was just too ensnared in the fiction to care. Particularly, for me, when you explained certain content like the Mustard Gas aspect for instance, i appreciated your video bc it showed me how brilliant the writers and the creators were to weave the horrific Black experience in This country as a horror anthology. And you and all who feel this work is brilliant, are right. Imo. Anyway, thanks for the reviews. Look forward to checking out more of your content.

Quick question: i saw on another channel that Clarke used up all the family savings that Bunker Betty lost access to, to frequent gay bars and hide this part of his life. Given marty called him the F word at the end... i guess it makes sense. I never got the indication that Clarke may have been gay before that remark, did you? I thought he was called the F word just to be demeaning and insulting. Like calling a man you deem scary or weak A "P" word. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Also, I did pick up on the molestation vibes from Betty's pops and do feel maybe that's why she can't have kids. That kind of trauma will make one bitter to the core as she, i would suspect. Anyway... thanks again 😁

This show was excellent in irs symbolism. Boiling down all the atrocities done to black people and condenced it into the characters in this show. Another great show to get the blood boiling is Extermination of the beast. Its a docu series. U seen it?

This is why Black christians are soo funny to me and some others over the world.. No matter how many times the media try to show and tell us that this religion black folks are worshiping is some BS,, some of y’all will fight it to the end to say they’re wrong.. If you accept this bible as being the word of god,, then what about the other missing books?? Are they not the word of god also?? So why take them out?? Who is man to determine what words of god need to be listened too and what doesn’t?? Unless man saw how he could use this book to control man and to keep him down.. If you accept this book,, then there are two books you need to read,, ebook or listen to on RU-vid.. The secret book of Apostle John and the book of Judas.. You can’t say you believe one over the other because you never seen the other.. Which one of you has actually seen the Bible in it’s original Aramaic form?? After listening to both books,, I guarantee you’re not going to see things the way you used to and that you may not want anything from this bible teaching..
