@@synergy6035 More like democratizing enemy tech to use against them but if it is treason then I will cease this wishfull thinking, for Sweet Liberty (it would be cool though)
@RetlocGaming being able to capture and study enemy technology for purpose of replication and use against enemies is highly recommended and required if the situation arises
When I saw the AT-ST knock offs, I called them Chicken Walkers. Whenever a tank appears, I say "Oh shit, it's Megatron!" When this Strider pops in, I call it a fucking AT-AT.
I climbed a mountain while fighting one on my own for a few minutes and when my friends finally finished what they were doing the came over to see me on top of the damn thing repeatedly punching its turret.
i think you're underestimating how powerful the AT-AT cannons actually are. they may seem weak but those things in legends were used against ships of the rebel alliance
@@robiagacitei5487 However ATAT can shoot only forward + it has shitty maneuverability and speed, while this thing has more flexible legs which provide more speed, fully rotating turret, and I sure that it's armor can handle ATAT turbolasers because it handles literal orbital strikes, and it is probably also have shields.
@@giovannieusebi955 i agree, I think the Republic AT-TE is cooler, but you misunderstood. No, the factory strider doesn't look like an ATTE, it has more in common with the Imperial ATAT. The only similarity to an ATTE is the cannon on its back. I think you're confusing the Republic AT-TE (six legs, looks like a beetle) with the Imperial AT-AT (4 legs looks like a long legged dog)
Bro I saw my first tank to day in a medium dive and almost started crying because sampled were right next to it, I can’t imagine that with a freaking AT-AT
This is what you'd get if the Empire, Republic and CIS make a walker. The stature of the AT-AT with the tactical effectiveness of the AT-TE while having the ability to produce/deploy units Droid fabricator style.
One major weakness it has is the piss laser from orbit. That's my go-to way of taking those things out. And the piss laser from orbit does take it out fast to
@@demonofwar1155 I did that and it was able to take out two of them before the laser needed to recharge. So if there's more than two run around for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, they are extremely slow. Aunt do other objectives while you're waiting for the piss laser to cool down
The aimed eagle strike whose name I forgot is also pretty decent at taking them out, just like Tanks, they're both slow and big targets, so they have no chance in getting out of the aiming area, and the three rockets usually put them in a bad place. Throw another and it's dead. And you still have one left over to do whatever with it (or you can call an Eagle ressuply early if you don't need it). Pair that with the orbital railcannon and it's pretty easy pickings if you don't get obliterated by the Devastators.
I don’t know if helldivers know this but if u aim at that small red eye of the factory strider with sniper u actually damage it and eventually destroy it
Its an AT-TE (All Terrain Tactical Enforcer) also named Six Legs by the separatist droid army even tho the galactic republic owns it. (Star Wars Cannon)
Advice against creature that walk with 4 legs from veteran adventurer: -Their attack usually quite straight forward and their movement pattern mostly form a forward straight line that you can easily dodge if you are vigilant and watch their movement carefully to read their pattern where they usually lower their body for a lunge and jump attack, or they would make their front lower than their back for a charge attack -They usually leave an opening after wvery attack, and unless they have hard shell like carapace or scale, you can easily attack from their side with those opening -Aim for their front legs to make them unstable and reduce their maneuverability -Aim for their hind legs to reduce their speed and power in their each dash, jump, lunge and charge attack -once you got all their legs, they are an easy target that are hardly fight back or almost impossible to run away -Aim around their waist to head, and most of the time, their belly beneath is their vulnerable area that could deal much more damage since it can easily reach their inner organs, and if you know their anatomy right, you can easily aim for their heart and kill them quickly if you are skilled enough -Don't try to attack their rear side except for attacking their hind legs or tail, it is useless since the damage won't hurt them much because there are no vital organ there. -If they have a way to attack from distance like acid spit, spike throw etc, try to make them attack with those first, since usually their attacks from distance are limited and can only performed a few times until they have to wait for some time for them to use thier distance attack again. And usually they are weakened greatly after they use their distance attack -Their distance attack is either from their head or tails, so it attack either area in their front or rear -If the distance attack is from their head like acid spit, fire breathing, etc, go to their rear to avoid it, if their distance attack is from their tail, although it surely the attack their rear area with it, usually the can also attack the side area even their front with their tail, but despite that, the attack to the fron area with their tail are limited because the have to curl their body to attack and they become vulnerable from their flank and also most distance attack from tail are more limited in number and accuracy than distance attack from the head -But the most better option beside avoiding attack is always to have a good cover or a tanker that could protect you on your front Stay safe out there people
I was playing fort defense the other day and I ran through a gate and this thing popped out from no where and I certainly felt like a rebel trooper fighting an atat
The first times me and friends fought it we launched a ton of strategems at it and it jsut tanked it, and came out of the smoke around the rock shooting it was terrifying
When I see the factory strider, I'm not thinking about the ATAT imperial walker from Star Wars, I am thinking Mammoth MkII from Command & Conquer - Tiberian Sun
Every other enemy in the game has limb damage, bi or quad pedal tanks are never a good idea because they can fall if they lose just 1 leg. I haven't played this game or seen anything about this Strider unit, but I'd bet hitting a knee joint would topple it
Hahahah tahts what me and my buddies thought as well, but nope hitting the legs didn't do anything and we had a autocannon and rocket launcher dumping rounds into the legs, eventually we had to call in all our heavy ordnance to bring it down, it's actually so hard to kill but so fun
If they drop one on you if strats aren’t on cooldown it can go down pretty fast if you have the right ones , if they are on cooldown better to just run 🤣
