A 1936 popular song written by Richard Rodgers. From an Original Ampico Roll, scanned and encoded for the LX system by Wayne Stahnke. This is an extremely rare Ampico roll, issued in the summer of 1936. Ampico roll # 215791

I am amazed at the quality of touch. I have always loved player,reproducer pianos , well, since seeing one play on its way to the tip, I was 6 then and almost cried !( there was a large box of rolls too !!) Thanks for sharing this.

This piece is a masterpiece arranged in a unique way by Adam Carroll. It's really surprising that it's impossible to obtain the corresponding sheets . I'm personally grateful to anyone that can help me getting hands on these. Thanks

Thanks....it's evidently quite a rare roll. I have never come across one. It would be worth having it re-cut with today's technology.

This is great - I gather from the comments that it is an old piano roll - any idea when it was recorded? 1936 when the song was new?

The piano sounds great, and I just love this arrangement - the default tempo still seems awfully fast though.
