YESSSSSSS I’ve always felt the same about P. Gabby, Rio and Silver stripe. So I looked it up and they are actually all sports of each other!! I knew they were the same shit.

I'm convinced that many people are giving up their plant collections now that everyone is back to work. That is a huge reason why the plant prices have plummeted so drastically. I get that ugly orange 🍊 Princess is on your "hate" list because it's on mine too. Before the pandemic, I purchased a large Dragon tail for $10.00 @ Walmart along with so many more. There are some people out there who made so much money 💰 off the Coronavirus and not just the plant market. I do admit that I have also got kinda caught up with the obsession for certain plants but the most I have ever spent on one single plant was $99.00 for a very large Philodendron gloriosum. BTW, I just subscribed and liked. I love the honesty. We need to realize that this society is way too sensitive and "Plants" are sometimes 🥗 salad. Happy Birthday.

My hates: several you mentioned and -Jewel Alocasia -Cacti (but have excellent luck with euphorbia) -peperomia anything really -Calathea ALL -joepii / 69869 - begonia MOST -the new venom Alocasia is so ugly -I’m learning to hate Schismoglatis but I keep collecting 😂😂 - velvet leaved philos And my one super hot take is leaves that are predominantly bright red (ie: some aglaonema, syngonium, caladium) Amazing video ❤

The King Anthurium makes me happy but I get the dislike. Love my strappy Anthuriums but I don’t need them all. Agreed that hype can ruin a plant. A name that’s focused on appealing to a specific market rather than describing a plant is an issue. I was with you on 85% of the observations but I 100% loved this video.

Got to give it to you for your bravery regarding some of these choices, like velvet and strappy anthuriums. Those syngoniums scindapsus and brasil that can be indistinguishable. Agree with the poor rex begonias that are way to hybridized. The pricing of plants is my most disliked aspect of it all. Every one seems to be interested in ripping off other people, so much for the "whatever plant community."

How absolute dare you. 😂 I totally get it about the Alocasia. Alocasia happens to be my favorite genus so I make exceptions. And holy hell where are you seeing those Polly prices?!? Mine was $200 and so far has been super easy (helps that it was young but not tiny and I'm growing it in pon.)

The Frydek IS the variegated plant, not ‘a variegated frydek’ 🙂 Frydeks are variegated Micholizzinanas ❤ Stem cuttings are not complicated to propagate, it just takes work. Don’t forget to about corms! Lolol I do not understand why I thought I would enjoy this 😅 Your opinions are absolutely opinioning 😂

I think plants that are difficult to prop/grow or a really unique mutation should be priced high, but most of the time it is the fastest growing plants that sell for high 🥲 Like the variegated R.tetraspermas.
