Jordan Spizike Low Do The Right Thing 

donatello. i got in a car accident when i was 6 years old. i was playing with the donatello toy where the shell opened up and you can make it into a baby turtle. when the accident occurred (turns out we got cutoff by a big rig) i was sitting in the middle of back seat but then i was thrown between the dashboard and the windshield. first thing i saw when opened my eyes was donatello but shell was broken off, and i started crying because of that. during my stay in the hospital, one of the nurses bought me a new donatello turtle, but it was the one where you could pull a plastic strip through the back shell that had a speaker and itll say a line from the cartoon. almost 30 years later, i still remember the kindness of the nurses. they let me eat ice cream and watch tv all day.

Spiz’ikes had people in a chokehold, I believe when they first came out it was the most expensive Jordan (If not the most expensive hybrid). Retro’s were very scarce back then as far as releases go & we were hyped whenever a new spiz’ike color would come out. The Coolgrey’s had people in a frenzy!!

The presentation package is top notch! Too bad that once again, Nike decides that something as iconic as this shouldn't be made available to the masses. We know these 100 pairs will end up with resellers

Also, the Spizike is low key a very slept on shoe, the all black version is tough.

I remember on the song “Home Alone” by Dom Kennedy, he said “OG Gucci jacket with the Spizikes” in like 09-2010, they we’re definitely popular back then. And my sister had the cool great and black pair haha. They were clean!

Everyone loved the Spizikes in 2006 and dubzeros. Good times.

The cut to Majin Vegeta caught me off guard. Had a great laugh there. Favorite Turtle is easy, Raphael. As a very young child, I learned to repeat swear words thanks to 1990's movie Raph.

The spizike lows this year are probably my “surprise” favorite shoe of 2024 💯💯 Absolutely love them and so happy they brought a low out, and I think it’s 100 times better than the highs (and this is coming from a 40 y/o sneaker head….aka I was around for the originals) I have 3 pairs of the lows already 😂 For what it’s worth though, I know Chris said you could possibly go down 1/2 in these as they have same tooling as the J3 but I would def recommend trying them on before you do that. The first pair I got I grabbed my usual Jordan 1/3/4 size 11 and I found the the foot bed to be fine lengthwise, but the upper was just too tight even when I relaced with the lower sets of holes at the toe. They just pinched. (Note: I do have a flat, ever so slightly wide foot- usually doesn’t effect anything to merit a size change though) But as I’d already worn them trying to loosen them up, they were worn past the point of being able to return. So I got a shoe stretcher device off Amazon and put it in the forefoot over night and it fixed it, and I’m sure they will continue to break in and loosen as I wear them. But the next two pairs I grabbed an 11.5 instead and they’ve been much more comfortable- perfect really. Weird considering an 11 on a J3 is on point. I just think the upper on these are narrower (especially in forefoot) than the 3’s (or even 4’s tbh too) So just a word to the wise to be mindful when selecting a size on these. Another dope video @Weartesters ….thanks for sharing this special pair with the rest of us! Def would be a must cop if they were releasing! 🔥🔥

So glad you set the record straight this sneaker was the shit back i n the day i remember it sold out of the 2 original colors on footlocker i was so pissed , there is a narrative a certain youtuber from the atl always hating on six rings and spizikes he was not in the sneaker game the way how he speaks back in the day im so glad you put respect on it by the way there was the spizike lows that came out recently the white and navy

Could never roast you for not knowing. You are by far the best creator when it comes down to sneaker history. I literally watch all your videos just because of the phenomenal content. DAYUM!!!!!! Those are awesome!!!!! The packaging is so well put together too!!! Personally I wish the back representing the 9s weren’t jeweled but more like an embossed thing for longevity purposes…I can’t seem to describe it….I see it in my head, never mind. Still love everything about this! Good luck to the 100 that will have them. I especially loved the fact that Chris took us on a trip…remembering parents of the movie!! As for the question of the day, Donny has always been my guy…ever since the launch of the original toy line! Love seeing all the different takes throughout the years as well. Actually I really like the different physical changes Donny and Ralph have received over the years, but that wasn’t the question.

Love these. I remember when everyone wanted the spizikes. My first ever tattoos were ‘Love’ and ‘Hate’ on my inner arms. Got them right after I watched DTRT in film class.

the Spizike , the more I see it, the more it grows on me Leo was my favorite, just cause of the dual blades... it left an impression on me where any character that has dual blades, i have a biases towards them

I had to go half size up in these.Spizike low line. They weren't too comfortable. I wear 11 in Miltary black, Industrial blue 4s but a 11.5 in any craft 4s for reference. Had to go up to size 12 for these.

Donatello, for sure. And while I also don’t usually buy collabs like this, I did really like the Home Alone 2 Adidas Forum Lows from a couple years ago. That colorway was super clean, and the Home Alone allusions on them very really subtle.

Great video as always! I saw a picture of Spike with these on a couple days ago and I kinda got hyped because a low version inspired by the first two colorways is a great idea. I truthfully don't know if I would've picked them up even if they were widely available, so the 100 pair run is whatever to me. Great details throughout the shoe and packaging though. As for my favorite turtle, I'd give it to Donatello. I'm not much of a TMNT fan so I don't have any deep reason for it, I think I just tend to like characters that don't get a lot of spotlight time.

Just re release the Colombian 4ssssssssssssss with the little stitching on the laces and maybe some extras

Was just wearing the blackcat colorway at a family event today. I hope the spizike lows keep coming. I'd really like the highs to make a comeback, but I'm not foolish enough to hold my breath. QOTD: I'm a viewer who is unbound by the rules... they are all my favorites. The pizza perfectly represents this; a slice, alone, is wonderful, but it gets it's magic from the whole pie.

What they should release are the Buggin Out sample 89 Jordan’s, without fake scuffing on the toe, and with the perforated leather at the base of the tongue like they actually had in the movie.

Donatello was and is the best turtle. The kid in me had to purchase the Shell Toes and the packaging was like opening a toy way back then (I still collect toys but dont open most of them.) Sadly the other 2 haven't released in the US yet.

Leonardo has always been my favorite turtle. He's like a mixture of Batman and Captain America. He's stoic, courageous, selfless and caring, all things that I admired to become as a grown up. I"ll have to go with the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon from the 80's as my favorite. It was always The Real Ghostbusters and then Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles all day everyday when I was a youngling, and it still is.

I love spizikes in AJ og colorways or the closest to them! Is a slick shoe without a doubt. My favorite turtle has always been Donnie, since the 80s cartoon and then my fav too to play with in the arcade game.

Not gonna lie, I’ve copped all the spizike lows this year. I have enjoyed wearing them. They feel pretty good on feet as well. Some of the colorways definitely have “better” craftsmanship than others but have been blessing my rotation

Spizikes definitely solid and we waited in line for them in middle school and high school, the original white and black ones was always fire, the true blue ones, the Nelly ones and the cool Greys people went crazy over

These are nice. I'ma pullout my WC Spizike highs from 2017. They're up now $400-$500 in my size. Definitely Leo. Nito ryu is hard to beat.

The spiz'ikes are a very cool and interesting hybrid shoe. I honestly wish that JB/Nike would re-release them in the high top form. I would buy the black pair up real quick. This limited version is very awesome looking. And just as I thought about Googling the meaning of 40 Acres & A Mule, Chris mentions it lol. Thanks for that. Being that my favorite color is red, I would say Raphael would be my favorite turtle. I was hella nerdy and awkward as a kid, I often wished that I could be the complete opposite lol

Do The Right Thing is in my top 5 all time favorite films but I can’t get with these when a simple pair of scuffed cement 4s would make so much more sense.

Would love to get a pair of these. But only 100 pairs will make it cost prohibitive from resellers. But even better would be a similar celebratory release of the Air Trainer 3 Medicine Ball that Spike's character wears in the movie.

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is so underrated. The animation and characterisation of the turtles is so good and refreshing. Highly recommend any tmmt fan to give it a try

Man this Sacramento heat is crazy…..112 today. Michealangelo was always my favorite ninja turtle cus my name is Angelo lol. I’ve seen all the movies but I’m only familiar with the original animated series. I still wear my Spizikes but had to put them up because of the cracking paint….these kids now don’t like anything unless it’s on Tik Tok 😂…..one day they’ll be hype again since things always come back around and are considered “cool” again.

Y’all should grab a pair and discuss its history and its viability as a modern basketball shoe. You could mention her in the thumbnail and title to drive engagement.

My first thought when I saw the thumbnail was I hope there's no smudge from a footprint on the right shoe. Whew! Agree-- release these for wide release, Nike!

Hello everyone again! the scene of the cyclist guy is a major fail due to that the guy pushed and passed behind, not by the front, so there's no possible way that he could stepped onto the toe area of the right shoe. The white cement version featured in the film it is more like a "player's" exclusive, designed and made specially for the film, the base of the tongue resembles more to the back then upcoming lifestyle version of the oreos and the Columbias 😎

Mikey is my favorite ninja turtle, I was never a fan of this line of Jordan’s . But I think they’ve grown on me bit with the lows, not so much with the highs.
