Holy hell, I was listening without paying too much attention to the video and started to think there was some pi style PC I had never heard about, lmao
See, but if they went with the cOw 5900x, they would have needed a separate graphics processor, which makes might've been too much power for the user to stomach. The cOw 5900x is most definitely only for the true PC Borger enthusiasts.
Just wondering how Nic and Phil controlled their laughter during the PC Borger part, that was one of the dumbest yet most entertaining way of sharing one's setup ROFL...
Dude same 😂 it was playing in the background and it was at that point where I had to look at RU-vid and see wtf was going on 😂😂 almost thought I was just hungry and my mind was changing words hahaha
Actually caught this one reasonably early. Hey Jay! Liking 31 days of Jay-tober. I was really impressed with what you’re doing with the enrichment center.
I really like how Jay does these... it's not agressively over-reacting or just one long complaint... It's just a good constructive look at what people are doing... great work! AND THAT COW BORGER!!! Holy Shit!! :D :D
Not gonna lie, I love it when people go through Setups like this. Honestly if at any point someone struggles for Content, they should just do one of these. People love looking at Cool Setups.
11:12 If he did paint the PS5 then good on him, but it's probably just got the Dbrand replacement side panels (that they recently got a C&D on from Sony, RIP) and a matte black skin for the middle section. Still looks sick!
Not only does that junction need to be anchored to the wall, it looks like it's just hanging on the NMB and relying on the strain relief, it also needs to be in some conduit as well. I'd like to see what's going on behind that piece of OSB too. Just fixed a lot of incredibly questionable wiring in my basement.
if you're talking about the board on the wall that the first plugs attached too, it's likely covering the chute opening for what use to be a coal furnace.. all the houses here where i live that are 1940 or older have them. but it looks like that box is at least attached to the board since you can see the white romex coming from the ceiling along the board.
@@TheGameBench I'm not an electrician by trade, but as a mechanic I do run into some truly awful wiring by end-users. The one that comes to mind is when I found where someone stripped an inch or so of sheathing from the middle of a wire and then twisted the end of another wire around it with just a touch of loose tape. Just floating around in the dash behind the fuse box. -_-; I'll follow Jay is saying that if you aren't sure of yourself, hire a professional.
you know they had to do some retakes while doing that section.... if that was all done in the first go however.... In the words of Darth Vader: Impressive... Most Impressive....
LOL, This is my favorite "JayWhatDoYouThink" video yet! PC Borgor and The Comprinter II. I died with Phil on the "You take screenshots by just closing the lid and pushing scan" comment that Nick made
18:20 Not just mount the junction box to the wall. he also needs to put that NM Romex inside of a conduit pipe because its in a interior dwelling where it can run the risk of damage. That's per NEC code 334.15 Exposed Work. BE SAFE!
@@ArsStarhawk So, the short answer is yes, it will work, and is accepted by NEC code make sure to use proper terminators at the junction box, regular romex connectors wont work because they don't hold the BX metal sheathing correctly and secure the BX a minimum of every 6 feet on horizontal runs or 10 feet on vertical runs. The long answer is Check 330.12 AND 330.30. The use of metal-clad cable is acceptable for exposed work, such as running on the surface of a wall or ceiling as long as the cable is not subject to physical damage. but NEC doesn't specify what is considered risk of physical damage. That could be left up to inspectors. I'm just thinking that, suppose you, (im not sure if thats your setup or not lets just pretend) shove the desk against the wall in gamer rage and the desk dents the metal sheathing, then that cable would be considered damaged. Also Flex conduit like BX isnt a good grounding surface like rigged conduit is. if you go with that make sure it comes with its own grounding/bonding conductor. now if you plan on reusing romex cable and just feeding it through some BX flex conduit pipe then i would DEFIANTLY just go with rigged conduit because like you said it would be easiest to feed the romex through it. To me, it looks nicer, and can act as a bonding median as long as the junctions boxes are grounded as well and over all, is the safest. and id always rather go over kill on safety cause you're dealing with conductors, one oopsie can leave you dead. which is why ill end this comment saying please check with your local code as well. don't just take one comment on a youtube video as your only research, and if you ever feel unsure, let a certified electrician do it. as expensive as they are, they are cheaper than a new house or funeral cost and BE SAFE!
I think Phil had to walk out and leave the camera running while Jay doing Jay thing on the burger section. Otherwise, he will just can't control himself and keep dying in the background and that shot will never get done. lol
Can we do a "this was my first mod" - I'd love to share my watercooled & lighted rig from waaay back in 2002, Perfect example of how far this stuff has come.
Ok Jay, hear me out on this one...I truly love these react series. And this is serious. I now came across this video for the FOURTH time hoping it's a new part, since I don't memorize the names or dates... Please my guy, we really need more of those, if you're in the mood for it. Not trying to force anyone to anything here. I just really enjoy this reaction to setup stuff. :)
I like these video's, they're not repetitive at all. They're an inspiration and your comments help people avoid making the same mistakes. About the O11 Dynamic though, I understand why people get it. I got the Mini because I was using an ITX but plan my upgrade to be a mATX or ATX, depending on what next gen offers. It's the most versatile case outthere that still looks great and that isn't too darn big.
Jay, thank you for this. I really appreciate this piece of content. Very creative way to get upgrades on a budget. Thank you so much for this. And a big thank you to all your contributors.
I love the react series :D ps. snakes are kept in vivariums. I feel like people spend more time sorting desk space, fancy builds, decor etc than they do using all the expensive equipment they buy i know i've spent a lot on my pc but i've yet to use it for anything intense however the tinkering and chopping and changing things to make it look better are something i find very rewarding i just don't have a whole room to change the background decor sadly.
Jay I really like the 31 day of Jaytober and I really appreciate the fact your are literally giving away thousands of dollars in GPUs (even though I live on Europe).
au - Collected a few large pieces of TV Acrylic panels over time from dumped TV's - Handy to make PC panels/parts pc i use 1 as a cover over a Map on my desk another i cut & replaced the scratched side panel . could use for wall mounts make psu covers |_ etc wish i took the 65" acrylic panel out the old tv i found b4 i moved dumped in rubbish the house sold auction Lucky4 me i moved next door threw the nbn phone line over the balcony :) cost $685 so that was a good win not getting it again 100mbs .
Just now watching this... the evolving desk setup had me cracking up. I'm pretty my wife hates that my office is never just "good enough" and I keep changing things. 🤣
Ive been watching for about a year and when you started breaking down the burger I completely lost my shit. That was one of the funniest things on youtube easy.
im just new to the pc world currently learning about them the burger section made me question everything i think i knew about pc 😂i was actually trying so hard to keep up and understand everything you were saying 🤦🏻♂️😂
OMG! That printer/scanner PC! It reminds me soooo much of an ancient IBM "laptop" I had many a year ago. Not quite as thick, but ... not ... not either.
I'm very confuse what to buy ryzen 5 5600x or i7 10700f in my country they both have same price buy there is no local warranty of AMD but one year local warranty on Intel i7 10700f can any one tell what is the better option
What I can’t get over is how everyone seems to put a big microphone on what looks like a desk lamp stand with a big shield in front of the mic…. right in FRONT of themselves while streaming?? It’s is destructing and I would consider annoying. Use a boom mic stand and put the mic pointing down just above your head out of the camera shot. Then we see you and no microphone in your way. That, or use a lapel mic. Sorry had to vent seeing another light stand mic. If I was just doing sound and not video, the that kind of mic looks fine. Just search David Manning…
Jay, would be fantastic if you can do a Home Theater PC edition! I'd love to see what kind of high-end PC + audio + TV/projector set ups people have and find inspiration !
I want a gaming PC more than anything in life. It's just not obtainable because how much they are. Ive always been interested in it because my uncle who passed away recently loved PCs
the pc borger had me cracking up SO much that I woke everyone up in the house, totally worth it though. the fact he took it so seriously was the best part. I love jay's humor man.
@@neurokinetik64ES I appreciate you I was told when doing my setup that certain office chairs are much more comfortable than some expensive gaming chairs.
18:00 Sorry but if you think that's crazy you haven't seen what i had in my house for a few weeks after our house's heating system changed for an all-in-one hybrid system instead of 1water heater and a furnace to heat the house. When the change happened we were left with a dangling WIRE with the only thing keeping it from being live is a quick Old fashion electrical box with a lever. Without me those wires would still be naked and a safety hazard lol. I got an electrical box on it and putted back the power. Still technically hanging like in this video but still much safer. I have yet to think about the best place to make a pole to screw that electrical box into it because it's a big room with the wire hanging in the middle of nowhere. There's no nearby wall that would make sense to hook that box on a wall.
My only concern, with a wall mount, is no airflow on some of these parts. Anyways, guys, I’m going to be doing some extreme overclocking on this open air test bench. 😂
I am working on a triple computer wall mount right now. I will be using the aio mounted so it will pull air across the motherboard. My problem is not the wall mount but the 10 foot long desk I am working on with 7 monitors to go with it. I will build the desk on rollers so you can work on wiring, cleaning and painting. The lay out is going to be a pain.
Ya had me thinking I got a laptop that runs but has a broken screen and a screen that works from another dead laptop pick up a printer for free somewhere and we just might have something.
Great Video my fiancé and I love these and inspired us to do our room. We didn’t make it in this one…but fingers crossed for the next one! Thanks Jay. I FIXXX ITT!
Jay you are my fave pc youtuber. even from having problems of my pc and seeing your advice helps alot to the little things that would make me chuckle like the burger pc. Keep on being you haha
Ya that was my first thought when he showed it I thought for sure he was going to say to get conduit (didn't even think about the box not being mounted)
I have this card and the only reason I do is because of an RMA on my gigabyte card and Microcenter didn’t have the lower end in stock so they gave me the top tier one for no up charge. Pricing on this card is insane I would rather spend an extra 100 bucks and get a 4090. That being said the card performance is AMAZING. I’m pushing 300FPS in the new COD for DMZ on 1440P and 200 on 4K. I love how quiet it is. the only draw back is the size of it. It is the largest or second largest card on the market for the 40 series but it puts out.
Another great episode, I love watching these. 😫 It's the first time I've ever submitted anything for it, but I was too late and didn't make it in. Maybe next time.
For the guy with the dangling electrical box...you don't even NEED to use anchors to mount that box. Get some construction adhesive, slather it on the back, then duct tape the box to the wall for 24 hours. It won't _ever_ freaking move.
@@derrickfoster644 guilty. Not the right way, but it works. The right way would cal for conduit, so I don't see any point in doing all that disassembly unless you were going to go back and do it properly.
I love how half ways watching this video, I got the inspiration and energy to clean, reassemble, cable manage, and change up my desk area haha. So many things I left as "I'll get to it eventually." smh
