Sometimes when I’m feeling down I remember that at least I’m not a wide footer; always felt bad that they just have to take their Ls in the sneaker world and because of that, they just aren’t into sneakers at all.

QOTD: No comic books, so I'm going for my sneakers. Easy choice for me. It's crazy how one of Nike's longest-lasting models is a mid-tier neutral running shoe. I did a lot of running in the '90s and '00s and the Pegasus was always a solid rotation shoe. (High-level runners usually train in more than one shoe. Sometimes they have specific purposes--like for speed days, recovery runs, or long distance days--but in general, even two pairs worn back and forth last longer than one worn every day, and help avoid injury.) This shoe surviving this long is like if they did 38 models of a team shoe alongside Jordans for all those years. Thanks as always for the review! Here's my comment and up there is my like.

That is tough. My origin story 1s are my grail sneakers and Jim Starlin signed full run of 1st issue infinity gauntlet is my grail comic. I would have to go with the comics honestly. I met Jim a couple times and he’s a cool guy. I was into comics before sneakers and as much as i love those 1s, the signed copies hold a lot of value to me

For the question: The one thing I would rescue from a fire would probably be Garfield Plush with a Cowboy Hat. Got it from a trip to Austin. Means alot to me.

Those Pegasus look really comfy. Looking forward to try those on. For the QOTD: I’ll grab the sneakers. I would only want to look at the comic, not necessarily read it or own it again. As far as the item I would run back in for, I’d grab a pillow made out of my wife’s grandmother’s favorite shirt. We can replace everything else, except that.

I've been running since 2017 and I've used a lot of different Nike Outlet specials as my running shoe, and by far, any recent iteration of the Pegasus is my favorite shoe to run in.

These look like a comfy everyday shoe. I just feel like I have to run in non Nike shoes at this point. I really have nothing that I have to grab as long as the family is safe. But I know the wife needs her backed up photos. So I’ll grab those for her.

My Nike Air FOG1 (Oatmeal). I love the silhouette of that sneaker and they were made in limited quantities so I know for a fact that 12.5/13 is hard to get.

You know... Kinda makes me wish Nike still produced the previous Pegasus, the 35/36 with the cushlon foam and full length zoom air. Those were really great. I wasn't a fan of the 37 and 38 with the react and big forefoot zoom air bag, I always felt like my heel sunk into them. I never tried on the 39 and 40 though. This looks like Nike is pointing back in the right direction. I'll have to check them out

Probably the worst running shoes I've bought in years. They are however turned into my everyday non-running sneakers and are very comfortable. I'm a forefoot runner and they bottomed out within a mile. Heel runners probably will have a better experience, but if you are mid to forefoot, I do not recommend at all.

1st. Congratulations Nike for 41 years of the Pegasus. I'm not into performance running shoes, but the colorway is clean and the silhouette is nice. 2nd. If there's a fire and I can only grab one item, shoes and anime ain't it. ONLY thing I'm grabbing is my late mom's Bible. The highlighted verses and notes she wrote in it are PRICELESS. 3rd. The problem with these is they unveiled the premiums already, which, to me, make these a 👎. I’m not about to buy these and they’re already making me wait A YEAR for something I didn’t ask for. Speaking of waiting, I hate the SNKRS app. I hate how “you’re in line” waiting on your purchase for 20 minutes, then they’re all sold out.

Pegasus doesnt have 41 consecutive models, 41 is for the years theyve been on the market but has been discontinued in the first decade of the model.

I used to wear Pegasus shoes as my everyday shoe then moved to Under Armour shoes for a while. Tried the 38s and the strap on the side of the tongue killed the inside of my foot. Not sure if they were the wrong size or what... wish i could get back into them

At the very top tier I think Nike still owns that category with their Alphafly and Vaporfly performance racing sneakers but below that other brands like Saucony, Asics, New Balance, Hoka, Adidas etc. are better since they have moved the goal post in terms of midsole foam tech that are a bit better than Nike. I'd pick comic book/or even a bunch as much as I can carry safely, with sneakers you can only get hold off at least 2.

Easy....save the comic books. They retro sneakers every 5/7/10/20 yrs. Comics books never get retried. Story gets resold for new audience, but the original comic never goes down in value.
