Bought 2 bought a buy a third cause I had one and it broke mostly my fault and I brought another one and it didn’t work cause of stick drift

How is the deadzone on it? Do you get a little stick drift when you set it to 0 or is it still too high?

@@theiyrosthenes1639 80% of the time you done have to worry about stick drift on a Victrix controller. Couple of weeks into mine, I can still run 0% deadzone on any game and get none at all. Plus since the software let's you calibrate the sticks, I think that'll improve stick drift in the future theoretically.

Aye my main man Mark, always great to hear from you! I'll be honest I'm not much of a headset guy so I don't really have any headsets to recommend to you but the headset I use for gaming is the Razer black shark V2 and I love it dearly lol. So you can try that headset, its 90 dollars on Amazon and GameStop, I hope that helps

Main reason I’m looking into third party controllers is because I’m looking for fast/smooth joysticks on my controllers. The new gen Xbox controllers are pretty stiff compared to the older ones. I really enjoy using my old gen controller, the feel and joysticks are timeless. But ofc inevitably one of the sticks have to ruin the fun and go rogue. When I bought the new gen i was pretty disappointed and ended up trading it to a friend for their old controller and that didn’t last long so I got scammed 😂. Anyway old gens new now cost more then the new gens, so any controllers u would recommend on that front? Thanks

Hey Chris you are in quite a situation lol, i actually dont have any recommendations based on what you’re saying. Sorry man, have you ever tried adjusting the deadzones and sensitivities on new gen sticks? Surely that must help recreate the feel of the old gen sticks you’re looking for

It works. But only to around 800hz. Victrix doesn’t overclock to 1000hz

@@chukwubuikemoguagha so if you’ve noticed the Victrix analog sticks are a bit stiff. It has nothing to do with deadzones or sensitivity. The analog sticks don’t detect micro movements and it causes you to either miss your shot or in fortnite your edits. It’s more noticeable when you have to drag the right analog stick onto an enemy or edit.

@@notorioussnipers8156 Ahhhh I see what you mean. Funny enough I liked how stiff they were but then again I'd consider myself a casual to semi-sweaty player and I suppose stiff sticks wouldn't help much in more competitive matches😅. Thanks for pointing this out, now I know!

@@chukwubuikemoguagha stiff sticks are fine if they detected the micro movements. Really curious if they plan on updating their software or are trying to get a Xbox license

I have victrix but mines doesn't have this issue I did a 2 hour private lobby testing to see if it's really true.

Hey MaxPower, you make a very valid point however me and many other commenters on this channel have had very varied experiences with expensive and cheap controllers. Id even go as for as to say that you can never guarantee you’re getting a good controller no matter the price point. Maybe on average the eswap performs better and lasts longer than thr victrix but i would argue its not by much.
