BMW forgot the headlights… I don’t know why these companies keep making their headlights so small I like them giant!! The geometric on the roof is cool though!

The front end of it reminds me of something Batman would drive.

The reviews say things like a buffet if BMW excess, someone drove a X5 into a M parts bin or look, a sithmobile for lord Vador. With large V8s going away I was looking for something fun and unique. A XM was not on my list but we were looking at x3/x4s for a replacement for my wife's m340i and my dealer had just gotten one. It's an ugly duckling but it really grew on me. It ended up coming home (really good lease and rebate terms) and I gotta say, I haven't driven a car that makes me smile as much. It shouldn't but it does. The headliner and light show is my favorite part. It fricking rips. Best of all, you can roll up to a EV charging parking spot in v8 and plug in with a evil smile on your face.

The x5 m comp is much much faster… infact. The x5 50e is now as fast as this…

Interesting to see the M logo on the grill blacked out, the kidney grille looks great on here especially because it's not so tall vertically like on some of the sedans (although maybe it would look better on a larger vehicle), and the headliner is funky (reminds me of sound deadening panels someone would have in a studio) as all get out!

There is only one XM and that was a Citroën.

Black paint with the smaller wheels is the best spec of this car IMO. Have you seen the tire sidewalls on the bigger 23”s… literally rubber bands

I absolutely love my new 2024 BMW IM, it’s an amazing vehicle to drive, fast, nimble, luxurious, I can’t say enough good things about this new IM. Expensive, sure, but most luxurious quality performance vehicles are .. 🤩👌

I know an engineer that worked on this, he said the code name was 𝐇𝐨𝐠. And he said their team will release a software update to enable the smell sensors in the grill, to help sniff out traffic with its noze radars.

BMW design department is lost in the sauce. I remember not too long ago there photoshopped joke pictures of “future” BMWs grills. They were meant to be a mockery, not a guide

7:13 The outside and powertrain kinda had me, then you get into the inside and i loose it. I cant. The tacked on hard angled screens look so ... TACKED ON! Tacky, terrible, not well implemented. I get you want screens in the car. Can you not find a way to implement them into the dash in a cohesive way that adds to design and not tear it down? Simplicity and cost don't work here. This is a luxury vehicle I'm being asked to pay 100k+ for. I don't want to hear how you saved money by giving me this dumb ass tacked on screen. Here is an idea. Go to a luxury watch maker and have them craft you some beautiful mechanical guagues for the cluster above the wheel, and have a beautiful screen buried into the center stack. But I'm just some fool behind a keyboard.

30 miles haha. EVs are so useless. I wish the mfrs would just stick with gas or diesel powered engines and stop wasting money. If BMW cut the weight of all that EV crap that SUV would be faster and cheaper.
