You have to listen to Tragedy and Staying Alive. These two songs will blow you away. Yeah Barry is awesome along with twin brothers Robin and Maurice. Been singing together since they were 8 and 9
The bearded guy is Barry, Robin has the longer hair and Maurice is the other bearded guy. They also had a younger brother named Andy. And while Maurice and Robin may have been twins, Andy was the spitting image of Barry. I've loved them since I was a little kid, and I love so much that a new generation is loving them so much!
More BeeGees please: To Love Somebody Alone Massachusetts Run To Me Nights On Broadway You Should Be Dancing Jive Talkin Words For Whom The Bell Tolls I Started A Joke Tragedy Night Fever
Yes, YES!!👍👍👍❣ Back then, you couldn't go to a Party without dancing to the BeeGees....heaven!! 👌👌😍 And they wrote 100s of songs for other artists...so Much Talent in ONE family!! Their little brother Andy became a big Star too...but died a tragic death when very young.
It’s different in their over 1000+ songs written for themselves and for other top artists. Barry and Robin share leads and occasionally Maurice. The three Gibb brothers all have great chest voices and fantastic falsettos but Barry is the one who can sustain it for a full song. This song is one of the most beautiful and enduring love songs that is relevant even today. Please react to LOVE YOU INSIDE OUT, thank you, great reaction. ❤❤❤❤
The BeeGees were: the tallest and oldest brother (with the big hair and beard), Barry Gibb, born September 1, 1946, the only surviving Gibb brother. Robin Gibb (with the long hair, no beard), born December 22, 1949-passed away May 20, 2012, and Robin's fraternal twin brother Maurice (the balding brother with the beard, pronounced "Morris") Gibb, born December 22, 1949-passed away January 12, 2003. They also had another, younger, brother Andy Gibb, born March 5, 1958-passed away March 10, 1988. The three oldest brothers were born on the Isle of Man (UK). Oldest brother Barry got seriously burned when he accidentally pulled boiling tea over himself at 18 months old. He was in coma for a while, nearly died and was in hospital for many months. Because of this, he did not learn to talk until after the twins were born. Later the family moved to Manchester and from there they emigrated to Australia in 1958, right after Andy was born. Their musical career, which they had started as little kids, didn't lead to international success so they moved back to the UK in 1966. Then they had a string of big hits, until they temporarily broke up around 1970 for 15 months. Started back up, looking for a new sound which they first found in 1974 with the transitional album "Mr. Natural". After that "Main Course" was the first album that moved them into a new direction: more rhythm&blues, dance music like with great hits like Nights on Broadway and Jive Talkin' (and was also actually the first album on which their logo was introduced). From 1976 on they went all out with falsetto driven dance music which lead to their biggest commercial success as they provided classic songs for the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack (1977 Stayin' Alive, How Deep is Your Love, Night Fever amongst them). You should react to the 1979 live version of Stayin' Alive, too ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7niXSh7vWRI.html Other great songs to analyze: great album tracks from the 1979 Spirits Having Flown album, the title song: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WH_j90fCIk4.html, the outrageously beautiful song Reaching Out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vfHUS5Mf00Q.html. They have a lot of "great songs". Some of them you may have heard and will be surprised to know they sing it. 1. STAYING ALIVE 2. NIGHT FEVER 3. YOU SHOULD BE DANCING 4. EMOTIONS
Another reaction you got right. Thank God. I’ve seen other reactions to this song and some of the reactors just talk about how nice the lyrics and message is… which is true!… but they fail to even comment on their vocal talent. Frustrating. So glad you got it! 👍
They are brothers and have been singing together since 1958!!! Right up until 2003 when brother Maurice (Morris) passed suddenly. 40+ years of singing and writing songs. They're the best!
'ALONE' is one of my favorites...sky-high falsettos in some of their best harmony...can't go wrong! And 'Nights On Broadway', a rockin' song, and the first of their songs they went from their usual low voices to the highs...GREAT!
Good morning, I totally love all your reactions . I listen to a lot of reaction videos and I think you’re the one that will keep all the good music alive. By the way, Robin was also the lead singer along with his brother Barry. All the gibb brothers are great. They will never be anyone like them. By the way, they do have an older sister can also sing, but she decided to stay home and start a family. You need to look up and play I started a joke, Robins funeral.
First bro it's pronounced Bee jeez. Secondly, check out "Fanny(be tender with my love), the things they do vocally will blow you away, aside from it's just a great song!
As you will no doubt know by now that these three guys are brothers, but unfortunately there is only one of them still with us, and that's "the one with the beard" Barry. They were so successful back in the 70s, especially the "Disco" era. They have also written hits for other artists. A very successful band of brothers, if ever there was one. ❤🎶
Shon, Shon, Shon,....you want Barry "moaning" in your ear with his sustained falsetto..... Stand in line bro, stand in line. I've loved Barry for 50+ years. (Yes, I'm a 70s child). If you haven't yet, react to Fanny, Be Tender With My Love ... The live version. Cuz ya know, not everyone can sing phenomenally live, but the Bee Gees kill it!
Harmonizin n shit. Yeah, that's a great way of putting it. And the main guy, in this song at least, is Barry Gibb, the bearded great looker. He was voted Australias songwriter of the year when he was 17 (1963?)the Bee Gees were hall of famers R&B and songwriters Hall of Famers, BRIT legends and massive Emmy winners. Barry was apparently also voted the sexiest man alive at one time. Not bad accolades for one life.
@@teviottilehurst Didnt say he did my man. Nevertheless, they lived, grew up and performed in Oz from 58 to 66/67, and during this period Barry wrote loads of songs and was thus voted the Australian songwriter of the year. Stayin Alive was just voted into the Australian legends vault, or some such honour. I imagine they would have become Australian citizens if they could have kept their UK citizenship as well. Not allowed back then, but no problem now with dual citizenship.
@@LizzieRD only Barry has dual nationality and that's British American. The other two had only British citizenship. Robin is buried in his homeland and was proud of being British and was in fact a keen follower of British history.
@@teviottilehurst Not contradicting you my friend. Back in the 60s, 70s and 80s Australia did not allow dual nationality. UK did. Not a point of contention.
I just hit like & subscribe to your channel I didn't realize how good the Bee gees are how about alone by the Bee gees or for whom the Bell tolls or immortality with Celine Dion

Just discovered your channel and loving these reactions, soooo many of my favourite songs! You should check out the song "Woman In Love" by Barbra Streisand, it is such an epic power ballad and was written by the Bee Gees! Subscribing to you, your reactions are great and your true appreciation and openness to new music is a breath of fresh air! 😄
