i play with time slowed down. it originally started when my game was really laggy. since then i've fixed it but kept the slower time. it's so nice enjoying going to restaurants without spending the whole day there. highly recommend for story players. especially helpful in university

I know in California the cafeterias are outside like that last build. And mainly in states that’s are hot year round like Florida and cali they walk outside to get to their next classes , kinda like college.

I download mccc for the specific purpose of slowing down the clock I my game. I've been playing with longer days for years. It does not break your game and it probably helps in situations like eating at restaurants. I've never experienced the waiting for hours and not getting my food bug. I have more time to do a lot of things I my game especially since I play with multiple sims in one household. I also have been building and playing I my own schools since before I got parenthood and get together. Those 2 packs are essential for playing out a school day. 5 minutes as an hour is kind of long. I found 3 or 4 minutes is best for me.

The west coast inspired school is spot on lol my high school had separate building for cafeteria gym library and classes. My high school we didn’t have lockers, asides from PE lockers to change to pe clothes. We carried all our stuff with up in our backpacks, beside the textbook lol we left those at home. The school provides us copies in class

There was an arts high school near my home high school and I remember that arts high school looking nothing like a regular school, it was a film/theatre centric high school and it was built almost to look like a large auditorium, it looked so cool and chill and just had such a sick arty vibe going for it.

Those schools are wonderful, thank you for showing us a bunch of them. An high school I really love because it is both gorgeous and gameplay-minded is the one by Simmarysims. I have downloaded it and played in it and it works perfectly. Hats off to her! I will try to download some more, in other saved games, so that I can play with a variety of schools from different builders. Aaaaand I might try to build my own, though it's intimidating but it should be fun. Thanks again for showing all these schools!

The West Coast school was so nostalgic, in California pretty much all of our schools kind of look like that. There's a lot of different sections of buildings and a lot of outdoor walking, which can be horrible at times because it is so hot in California. Lol but I miss that

My school had cafeteria in other building, but the other high school (we were 2 high schools in one building) had classes separated, they were more manual, like electricians or blacksmiths, they had to go to other building which had workshops etc.

My high school was outside based like the last build. I wish I went to an indoor, multi-story school like I saw on tv and the movies. All the schools I went to since elementary were like that. Multistory, indoor schools seem weird to me. lol!

I'm French, and in both middle school and high school where I went, you had different buildings for different purposes, so yeah you had to go outside sometimes. Il the case of the high school where I went, it also was a boarding school for student that lived too far, so you had for example a building for all the administrative stuff, a building where there were classrooms, a building with the auditorium, a building with the dorms, a building with the gym, and a building with the cafeteria and library. So yeah, it was huge and sometimes, if you had courses in two different buildings you had to hurry through all the school just to not be late. Thankfully, teachers were pretty understanding since they, themselves, could be a little late for the exact same reasons.

I used my sims free time in the morning to be in the library or play in the gym. Also if my sim eats breakfast before school, they aren't always hungry at lunch so I sometimes use lunch time for that too.

idk about other states but all the school I've gone to in FL usually have different buildings with covered walkways to get to each one. We'd have 10 minutes to go between classes and for the most part each subject would have its own building so all the sciences were in building six and math was in building two. The only exception was honors and AP classes which were kept separate from the general population. And some schools had advanced students wear a separate uniform. (I went to public school)

In Australia, most high schools have what we call different campuses, and there are like classrooms, science labs, a library, auditorium, stadium for physcial education/sports and other rooms that are separate and detached buildings, so you walk outside then inside between most classes.

Yeah I have not found any high schools to look like mine yet. That's because the high schools in my Hometown use a prison architecture style. Once I get the pack I'm going to be the 1st to use that style on a high school in the game.

I've played with my game slowed down for a while now and I love it. It's so much better now. I've actually even considered slowing it down even more than what it's already at. Total game changer. I will add though. that when you first change the settings and slow it down, it messes with time. I can't remember if it set me forward or backward but it was by like...a whole two days. I play with aging off on long lifespan so idrc but it's worth noting.

@@fantayzia Honestly, not that I noticed, with the exception of the finchwick fair starting at weird times, but idk if that's because it affected the calendar or just time itself. I have everything maxed out too though (long lifespan, max days for seasons, etc.) so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. The main thing I noticed was the time/day change.

My high school was a lot more like the last build. We had about 5 buildings the Main building which was the main office and all the more classes, two building for all the elective classes, the gym building which had the gym and the health class, and a build with the cafeteria

my high school is like 6 buildings on one compound. skls in Jamaica are usually like this but i dont like that because your classes are all over the place = more walking. so everyday your walking around with a heavy school bag in uncomfortable uniforms in the heat..not fun at all.

There’s a mod to have the high school in another world. You can only have 1 school per save, but this will help anyone who wants to put the school in another world.

Due to fire code regulations, stoves, refrigerators and smoke detectors are required in real life high schools and I usually employ this tactic in the sims universe. Keep in mind that gates and fences should surround the cafeteria stations from the stoves. Fires on community lots are possible only with mods.

Yeah a lot of ppl always assume high school are indoor only. Thanks to Hollywood no less but yes living in California majority of school classes are buildings and you walks outside to to different classes. So the hallway is literally outside lol. Lunch is outside the gym is a different building.

If someone is reading this who‘s build a small Highschool please let me know this. Personally I think most schools in the gallery and the original ones are TOO fing big for literally 9 sims … I can’t build soooo if someone needs a challenge … here it is :)
