"Some people are not open to the thought..." I felt that. I am a Zimbabwean woman I have been natural for years now but in the last year I have been deliberately growing out my hair and it has reached armpit length. A lot of people refuse to believe that my hair is real. I have to fight people from touch and pulling my hair looking for weave or extensions
Just imagine 😳 they used to do that to me as well as a result sometimes I cover my hair when in public or wrap my hair so its not lose otherwise they scratch to see the base🤣🤣🤣
the only thing is our hair is ALWAYS GROWING! its just breaking off the same rate so it's all about being able to retain length and keeping it from breaking off.
@@nicolehumble8526 Hey! well i would first start off with searching it up on youtube for more tips on how to retain length. But mines are to keep it stretched, it helps with fairy knots which leads to breakage. Also keeping it in twist and moisturized. I leave my hair in natural twist while stretched and moisturize it when it needs it. You can find more tips on RU-vid hope that helps!
ive never given my natural hair a chance, i want to try and school myself about the natural route both for my hair and skin and also my diet..... a complete new journey for me
Essential oils has been beneficial to my natural hair,it helps to stimulate my scalp also helps to thicken my hair.Diet plays a very important part in hair growth also and fluids.Thxx kindly.💖😊
Very truthful, insightful, honest, and relatable. Very refreshing video compared to other videos that talk about herbs as a super hair growth elixir that fixes all problems. Your approach is realistic and holistic. Triple thumbs up 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Hi Sisi and thanks so much. I really do believe sticking to natural products helps keep the skin clear, please check out 2 of my other videos on oil for the face and natural products for clear skin.
Couple things..add a bit of color to your background and lower the background music because it's over powering your actual voice... Despite the above, I subscribed but please think about adjusting a bit... Thank you in advance either way😉
Thank you so much for the good advice, I love the fact that you're straight forward and you sound so nice. I've been following you for a while now and I love every advice that you give cause it's actually true. Thanks again
Girl, I Love your hair. Its ABSOLUTELY Gorgeous. You speak the TRUTH. I appreciate you Sharing your knowledge. Keep doing what you do. It helps a lot of people, myself Including me.♥️
Yo Ha Ah your hair is goals Sana. Whenever I feel discouraged I always search your posts on curly proverbz group 🇿🇦. You always dropping amazing information and I wish you well on this youtube journey. Would love to see a video about edges. That's my biggest struggle and I thought my big chop, Ayurveda would fix that immediately 😏.
Thanks so much for your feedback, its a wonderful experience to have to be at a time where as Africans we are creating our own standard of beauty and seeing the beauty in what we are made to be. Some thing it's not so deep I truly think it is, having said that nothing wrong with exploring different looks as long as you are at peace with what is truly yourself
Wow l love your hair... l am a new subscriber thank you for coming up with this channel, our black community needs this education on haircare, l am also growing my hair its been 5 yrs now and l can see that my hair actually grows, and l cant wait till my hair is up to my waist...keep up the good work sis...
I often wonder why the hair on my head breaks off, is damaged at times, but the hair on my legs, under my arms and "there" is healthy, full and grows super fast.......
It also doesn't matter about genetics because a person could grow an inch and a half and another person could only grow an inch but if the first person isn't moisturizing or taking care of it and the second person that is only growing an inch a month is over time the second person will start to see retention .
Hi there, no I don’t even own a hairdryer. However not that I have locs I am considering getting one as the hair takes long to dry and having wet locs is a risk for mold
I just started following you and have subscribed Plz sister, my natural hair is pulling from my scalp while combing. Please help me with remedy or remedies, thanks.
Hi Sis, first thing u would try is a black tea or green tea or coffee rinse , the caffeine helps to block a hormone that promotes hair shedding. If you can get your hands on some fenugreek and rosemary add that too, check out my video on how I make the fenugreek and rosemary herbal tea. Use that to spray on your scalp most importantly you don't have to rinse out. Before the wash, do a bentonite clay detox, check out jy hair wash day video on bentonite clay detox. Let me know how it goes 😊
I just subscribed. Love the information. But the music is overpowering and distracting. Beside being repetitive with stopping and starting. I would love to be able to focus on the subject at hand. ❤️
Noted and thanks so much for the feedback and will be taking it into consideration for future videos, thanks for subscribing and hope to see you ibbthe next video
You can put oil on your scalp daily and some on your hair if the oil is light and penetrating to your hair shaft, but you must first moisturise with liquid
It's sad when I hear people say It's genetics and I hear that all the time. No it's really the person's mindset first and foremost. If someone believes they can't achieve great lengths then they won't. Typically those kind of people have a negative mindset in general about many things besides hair.
@@moonhoneymami Armpit length is beautiful too!! We need to dispel the notion that only waist length or tailbone length is valuable and beautiful. I cringe when influencers perhaps unknowingly tout that they have waist length hair as though we earn a medal of beauty and value only once we reach there. All lengths are beautiful❤️
Whoever feels black course hair doesn’t grow is just plain ignorant🤨 If we black ladies STOP wearing other people’s hair (weaves/wigs), glue, crack- cream (perms), and tight braids and most of all have a healthy diet #EatYourG-Bombs🙂
Thanks for popping by 😘 my view is that it's from cultural dilution over years and these can be unlearned. I've also seen that many do love and wish to grow natural hair and now with more information we can move in the right direction.
