Living in the most Southern California desert the first interior upgrades new or old truck is dash cover, husky liners because the weather tech warp in the 120 degree heat and seat cover. Especially if you have leather seats out here, that 120 degree summers will cook them.
This video alone tells me that it’s worth investing the $50ish extra dollars and another month or so to wait for some Sportsman Camo seat covers. I absolutely love mine and can’t see myself getting anything different. Nonetheless, good stuff bud.
Fantastic content from the DYI to the review - you gave it a fair shake and while not a fan of covering leather (pleather) I totally understand why you did it. I do believe you should have power cleaned inside before starting and need some floor mats to finish it off. I havent heard you say what the end goal of this "month long build" is - are you selling it at the end oof modding? Are you going to do a break down from start to finish?
only thing i hate about the sportsman seat covers is they stick that log on the headrest and back if you have a bench seat. wish you could order without that.
lmfscrew okay okay okay...I'm sorry...although they do look cool to me on something of a gray, white, or black, uhhh yea not this time bro. It's the navy blue it just doesn't blend as well. There are things for the navy's that fit much better and look like upholstery. In something older year with a much more updated look/style such as leather from a brand such as Endless RPM, EMRAuto, etc for half the price for full front and rear sets including center console.
