I have the Dynapower Fairway woods and they are the best club I ever hit. I still have the D9 driver its a fairway finder.

Value for money, that hybrid looks excellent - and it wasn't a hook machine so another positive for Wilson. The top brands, with their ever higher tier 1 pricing, have certainly created a market to price clubs below. The spin profile they went for is also great, given the market they are aiming for - slightly higher spin & launch. It would make for an excellent series of videos if you created a bag of more reasonable priced clubs and then played them against a tier 1 priced bag for even someone of your ability.

The fairway looks a little Titleist on the bottom and Callaway on the crown. These d9 are the best looking versions they have released in my view

My d9 hybrids are becoming my favorite clubs in my bag. 190 yards with the 4h and 180 yards with the 5h. Finding fairways and greens easily. For technical shots like narrow faiways, doglegs, cutting the line over trees, fairway bunker... these clubs are it.

For new releases not last year or 2 year old great value and really good real deal shaft offering. Looks spot on. Nice option 25 to 30 percent under other new release offerings. For the average golfers the extra spin is needed these will fit the masses maybe not the low handicap market but for the rest of us good option to consider

I just picked up a 4 hybrid on a great deal. I typically play premium brands like Titleist, but I tried this one just for fun. Best hybrid I’ve ever hit. Had to buy it! I don’t care that it is a Wilson and the rest of my bag is Titleist because hit this on a Par 5 in two makes you say, I don’t care what brand this is, it just works. Just increased my respect for Wilson brand!

They seem like a winning combination. Looks are quite stunning. I would love to try them out.

I'm a Wilson fan, so a little biased. I have the Wilson Staff LP woods, but just can't get on with the offset, I'm afraid. I will now be ordering the new D9 driver, 5 wood and hybrid, after watching several reviews and the lack of adjustability matters not to me. Been there before and, once the club was set, I never changed it. Great review, as ever.

Thanks Michael. I’ve been looking for a new 3 wood and this ones seems interesting. I’m not one to actually change lofts so if it works at the listed loft, so much the better. Otherwise, you’re paying for unused technology. Nice review.

I've recently purchased a set of D9 irons with senior graphite shafts, 6 iron through to sw. Bought the 4 hybrid but passed on the 5 hybrid since the 6 iron is so strong lofted. My driver swing speed is 90 mph on a good day so I needed as much distance help as possible. The technology in these clubs at the price point was a no brainer for me. Thanks for the video. Keep up the good work!

Michael, being a senior golfer with disabilities I've been gaming the D7 driver, 3, 5, and 7woods to a 14 GHIN. I really enjoyed your review of the Wilson D9 line and I can't wait to hit them and the new Launch Pad irons.

Think its a realistic price for what you are getting ..Think drivers are very over priced. I know they say a lot of it, is due to the R&D , but surely by now manufacturers have enough data and R&D with what works and what doesn't. Titleist TSi3 £499 v Cobra RAD £369 ... both are fully adjustable and give roughly the same figures. So in the titleist, what extra do you get for your £130 or are titleist just milking you, out of £130 .... excellent review again 👏

Its good to see they have worked on the stance of the club. I have the D7 woods and I just cannot get on with the way they sit, being very toe forward rather than neutral. It looks like these are a step in the right direction!

I play Wilson Staff C300 Forged irons 5-PW, a Wilson D7 driver and a Wilson C300 3 Hybrid - so I am a fan of their clubs, especially quality relative to price. But, it is a shame that the D7 and now D9 don’t have adjustability. I mean the D200 and C300 driver had adjustability, and my C300 Hybrid does too. So that is obviously keeping weight (and cost) down, but it does feel a bit like a backwards step. Thankfully in all other ways (looks, sound, feel, performance) they are better.

I think it would be smart for a golf shop to have these on the shelf, keep a variety of these for the average joe who walks in and buys stuff off the rack

Really interesting having just seen your D9 iron review. Looks like if it were you you jump from a 7 iron @ 27 to a 4 hybrid @ 22 based upon your gapping. Suggest irons are really hot or hybrids lack a bit of pop.

Looks really interesting. I am in for a new 3w and hybrid. Have adjustability on my current gamers but never changed anything since I got fitted 5 years ago. All settings in neutral. So for me I am fine with fixed head just need to find the correct shafts.

I wonder how many golfers get fitted for clubs that can have their settings changed but never change them. I am of the latter and if the Wilsons perform better than current l would seriously consider putting them in my bag.

Id like to see you compare head to head against the titlist vs srixon vs wilson, these brands do not seem to get the play that others do

Adjustability for an average golfer like myself is really a waste of money. Proper fitting is a better buy.

Your swing makes it look so effortless 👌🏻 I must say, at this price point it’d be rude not to take a look at the 3 wood/hybrid. Although, I think to be comparable to other brands, adjustability would be essential on at least the driver. Would you say the 3 wood looks a hair closed at address?

@@darrenbell6376 they should. But still ordering it custom with hazardous shaft for $205 as opposed to top brands being $300-$350 is still pretty good I think. Again assuming they do the same thing they did for d7.
